Door County
I should be writing but instead I’m thinking of this weekend’s trip to Door County. I’ve lived in Wisconsin for thirteen years and have never made it up there. I’m looking forward to some photo opportunities—if there are still leaves on the trees—and lots of cherry wine. If anyone has been to Door County and has some hints, let me know!

Jersey Boys
I'm looking forward to seeing Jersey Boys at Milwaukee's Marcus Center tomorrow. Musicals have an ability to weave words and songs into a story that often touches my heart. I'd like to achieve that in my writing—without the songs—since I can't carry a tune!

The very first blog post!
Wow, my very first blog post on Goodreads!
Some background: I'm the author of "Roller Coasters, Flumes and Flying Saucers." Starting with a small machine shop in 1946, Ed Morgan and Karl Bacon would become the premier ride designers of the modern age of amusement parks. Having been picked by Walt Disney in 1954 to help construct Disneyland, Ed and Karl maintained a twenty-year working relationship with the Disney organization. Many of the most popular attractions at Disneyland and Walt Disney world contain Ed and Karl’s ride systems.
My new novel, which is based on a mythical amusement attraction in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, is now available on amazon.com in paperback.
