"You are going to love this book." Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine gets Outsider Writers'd. And likes it. A lot.

Big thanks to TBWCL, Inc. favorite Caleb J. Ross and the crew at the Outsider Writers Collective and Press for their very kind and most erudite words about Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine. We also want to apologize for the quasi-misleading quote in the above title, but we do believe that the following excerpt will clear up any potential misunderstandings.

"Attention Kevin Smith fans (and strangely, Gilmore Girls fans): you are going to love this book. Though Most Likely You Go...

A lovely, and much appreciated, shout out for This Zine Will Change Your Life from the Julian Baker.

We are quite thrilled to see a lovely shout out for This Zine Will Change Your Life from the Julian Baker. Many thanks sir. Drinks on us when next we meet for sure and for everyone else there is a brief excerpt below.

"There are some great litzines and their editor's love and toil should be reciprocated, but in a strictly fluidless way mind. Ben Tanzer produces This Zine Will Change Your Life. It's good. What I really like about it is his approach to the issue. New editions are alerted via...

This Book Will Change Your Life - Charactered Pieces by Caleb J. Ross.

It is still early in the new year, but we have already had the chance to read the new story collection Charactered Pieces by Caleb J. Ross and we would like to think it bodes well for what's to come. While there is weirdness in these stories, not to mention biblical allegories and tales of suicide and the holocaust, what lingers is an underlying thread about the impact parents, fathers in particular, have on our lives whether through their presence or more often their absence. Ultimately...

Repetition Patterns and the Sony Reader. A match made in CCLaP heaven?

Jason Pettus and his fine team over at CCLaP have a big write-up on their blog about the challenges and triumphs of making Repetition Patterns, as well as Too Young To Fall Asleep, available via Sony Reader. Cool stuff for sure, and what we can only assume is but one more micro-step towards worldwide media domination.

More TBWCYL, Inc. 2009 Top Ten love. Today, television. Cool? Great.

Today we are talking television and what we loved in the 2009. There are some return viewing pleasures from 2008, there is also some new stuff, there is drama and humor and there is song. Overall, it was pretty, pretty good year and given the year we had, we suppose we should be most appreciative.
(1) Friday Night Lights. The show that just keeps on giving. And if you missed Smash or Streets final episodes we just feel bad for you. Really bad.
(2) Mad Men. The season would have been great...

This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, Week Fifty-One - "New."

And so it is Week Fifty-One of This Self-Portrait Will Change Your Life, our soon to end year-long effort to post one self-portrait per week for one year. It has been beautiful and at times profoundly moving, but soon it will be no more. That said, this week we are dedicated to the new. New haircut. New year. New writing. And a new self-absorbed photo-centric project that will roll-out soon. So please stay-tuned, please feel free to follow the project in its entirety at the Flickr and please...

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and looking forward to the new year. It has to be better, right? We'll see.

The new edition of This Zine Will Change Your Life is live and looking forward to the new year. It has to be better, right? We'll see. Meanwhile, have a healthy and happy new year and please note that we have two new poems by Corey Mesler, which we are way excited to end the year with, and, as always, photo action from Adam Lawrence, a music selection from Jason Behrends and health care reconciliation prose love from Pete Anderson. We hope you enjoy this edition and we appreciate all...
