"Ben is lucky. Ben is a winner. Ben gets repeatedly punched in the face." In Those Days We gets Beach Sloth'd. And likes it. A lot.

Quite totally likes it in fact. It is a review of both great beauty and great girth and should be experienced as only a Beach Sloth truly can. With awe. And mass appreciations.

Pete Anderson is Daddy Cool. And KICKSTARTER love.

"I'm very pleased to announce the upcoming publication of my short story "Prague, Oklahoma" in Daddy Cool: An Anthology of Writing by Fathers For & About Kids, from Artistically Declined Press. The story is one of my Farm Security Administration photograph stories (collected in my unpublished chapbook This Land Was Made For You and Me) which, thanks to its father-daughter dynamic, is my favorite of the bunch."

Dan Coxon is Daddy Cool. And KICKSTARTER love.

"Kickstarter has been used to instigate all kinds of projects over the last few years, from jewelry lines to movies. It has also become a great option for independent publishers looking to get new projects off the ground. As Penguin and Random House merge, and other mergers loom on the horizon, it’s good to know that the Indie presses can still survive in an increasingly cutthroat industry. Artistically Declined Press is one of those small indie publishers, and they’re currently Kickstarting their latest project: “An Anthology of Writing by Fathers, for and about Kids”. The idea is simple but unique, bringing together a host of literary talent to write about the one thing that’s dearest to their hearts – their children. Many of the contributing authors are renowned for their adult fiction rather than kids’ literature, and the collection promises to include some truly unique stories for fathers and children alike."

Nik Korpon is Daddy Cool. And KICKSTARTER love.

"This is my first foray into YA, though I felt obliged to keep it creepy with my creatively-titled story, The Ghost Train, which is about a ghost train that steals kids and takes them into the Neverafter if they cross a certain point the tunnel. There are some carnies and other weird things thrown in for good measure."
