Second Printing of the Jade Setter of Janloon

The limited edition print run of The Jade Setter of Janloon sold out so quickly that Subterranean Press has decided to do a second printing of one thousand signed, unnumbered hardcovers. They’re now available to pre-order and will ship in the fall. I’m very happy that more people will get the chance to own this novella!

Jade Legacy is a finalist for the Aurora Award for Best Novel

I’m honored that Jade Legacy is a finalist for the 2022 Aurora Award for Best Novel. The Aurora Awards recognizes the best science fiction and fantasy work of Canadian authors, and will be presented on August 13th at the When Words Collide conference. See the full ballot here.

The Green Bone Saga is a Hugo Finalist for Best Series

It’s hard to overstate how meaningful this Hugo nomination is to me. Thank you to every single person who enjoyed the Green Bone Saga and nominated it for Best Series. The full Hugo Awards ballot can be found here.

Chicon 8 members will be able to vote on the final ballot and choose the winners for the 2022 Awards. You can register to be a member to participate in the Hugo Awards. The 2022 Hugo Awards, the Lodestar Award, and the Astounding Award will be presented on Sunday evening, September 4, 2022, at a formal ceremony at Chicon 8.

THE JADE SETTER OF JANLOON will arrive on April 30

The Jade Setter of Janloon, a standalone prequel novella of the Green Bone Saga, releases in limited edition hardcover and e-book formats from Subterranean Press on April 30, 2022. It stars completely new characters with major appearances by familiar cast members of the main trilogy. The incredible cover wraparound cover art is by Charis Loke. I thoroughly enjoyed returning to Janloon to tell this noir mystery and can’t wait to share it with readers.

Jade Legacy Release Week

Jade Legacy releases this week, November 30 in the US/Canada and December 2 in the UK. It’s hard to put into words how it feels to see this trilogy completed and out in the world. I’m proud of how this third and final installment in the Green Bone Saga turned out and am glad to finally share it with readers.

One thing that made release day extra special was this review from NPR Books, which also selected Jade Legacy as one of its Best Books of 2021.
