Bargaining with the Enemy

Before she moved her death stare off Damian, he squatted down and leaned over, cupped the back of her head, and pulled her slightly up so that her lips were a fraction away from his as he whispered against them, “Play along, remember?”
Then he sealed his lips on top of hers. He sucked her lower lip into his mouth, and Yvonne clenched her knees together in the water and shivered from the attention he was giving her.
Her eyes fluttered and closed at the soft but firm lips on top of hers. She felt his hand accompany the other and he lifted her more out of the water. Yvonne was dazed at the strength he had to keep her upper half above water in the air while he kissed her. He nipped on her bottom lip and demand-whispered, “Open for me.”

The Bargain
Finished my enemies to lovers romance and it is now off with the Editor. Hoping to have it ready for publishing by August. Now to get the cover and decide on whether I want to name the book The Bargain or Playing Dirty. Both sound good to me lol. Upcoming post about the book and excerpt coming soon.

Let It Snow
Let It Snow - a past bully, curvy woman romance will be available for purchase or kindleunlimited in March. This will be a non-interracial romance, but will have an appearance by our favorite character Selena at the end of the book :). Here is an excerpt from Maddie and Rory's story.
Her mouth firmed in annoyance that he wouldn’t let go, before she said, “You idiot, let go of me, Rory. It’s Maddie. Maddie Lewis. You should have remembered this face, you tormented it enough when we were children. Now get your hands off of me!” She spat the words out in anger and then her eyes shifted away from his, but not before he saw mortification in them about being held naked in her old childhood nemesis’s arms.
Rory stared at her in shock. Looking at the woman in his arms more closely, he did recognize her now. She was different, though: Maddie’s hair used to be short and mousy brown when they where kids. Her hair was now longer and a rich, darker chocolate color; it reached past her shoulder blades, roping around her face, back, and shoulders from being wet and sudsy. Her body, which had once been fat as a child, was now a nice, plump, curvy package. Her eyes cast back to his, and though they were shooting angry sparks and fear at him, they were still the deep chocolate brown that he remembered from their childhood.

“Well, do we have a deal?” she persisted.
Calum just shook his head and almost broke out in a smile because there was no way that Selena was going to beat Anna in the baking contest. Anna, Kerry and Tyler’s cook-housekeeper, won every year. Her pies were delicious and out of this world.
“Sure, Selena if you win, I will let you stay and hire you on as my cook, but if you lose, I don’t want to hear anything more about you wanting to stay and cook here. You will take my help and then go home. Agreed?” Calum turned to face her in his chair and put out his hand for her to shake.
Selena looked at the hand and then she moved closer to him and leaned down, gathering some of his shirt in her fist. His eyes opened wide at her actions.
“How about we seal this deal with a kiss? Hmm?” Selena’s eyes twinkled in mirth now at him.
“Selena─” was all he was allowed to say before she sealed her lips to his with a gentle kiss.
Her kiss was sweet and she sighed against his lips, then pulled slightly away to gaze into his eyes.
Calum reached up with his hand and cupped it around her neck and the base of her skull, pulling her back to him, giving in to the impulse to taste her and needing to feel her lips on his again.
