At last, Australia!

Silk is ford Seduction UK edition

I've received quite a bit of email lately from my readers in Australia, alerting me to extreme difficulties they had, trying to get my Dressmakers series in eBook form. Or any form.

I'm happy to report that most of the glitches appear to have been repaired. Silk is for Seduction and Scandal Wears Satin * are now listed on Amazon Australia. For reasons unknown, the SIFS cover doesn't appear, but I suspect this is another Amazon glitch. (Not the only one: I've noticed that old covers for my boo...

Regencies you can listen to

Viscount Vagabond

I've mentioned it on the Latest News page, but that's ephemeral, and the blog archives itself. In case you missed it elsewhere:

Isabella, The English Witch, Viscount Vagabond, and Knaves' Wager are now available for your listening pleasure. The Devil's Delilah and The Sandalwood Princess are in production and should be available sometime this month.

Meanwhile, we're working on getting the Carsington series into audio format, too. (Yes, and the eBooks in Australia & New Zealand before too lo...

Interview at All About Romance

July 1835 walking dresses

The e-tour continues. At All About Romance, Dabney asks me some delightfully nerdy questions about the historical background for Vixen in Velvet, and the world of dressmaking in the early 19th century. Add your own comment by Sunday 22 June, and you might win a galley.

In case you missed previous interviews, here's one at USA Today's Happy Ever After blog. And here and here are the two parts of my Q&A with Trisha Sugarek.

Dream vacation in Italy—the part in Florence

Dream vacation in Italy—the part in Florence

Since Vixen in Velvet will be out in less than two weeks you can expect me to post various notices here about interviews and appearances on blogs.

The latest is at USA Today Happy Ever After, in which romance author Madeline Hunter—whom I met recently at the Romance Writers of America/New England Chapter Annual Conference—interrogates me about Leonie’s story as well as my checkered past, work habits, and dream vacations.

You can read it here at Roma...

After a whirlwind journey—well, not exactly, as the traffic on the return trip from NYC gave the term “snail’s pace” new and painful meaning—I’m back at my laptop, staring into space. But before sinking into the world of make-believe, this author has some gratitude to send to all who made my time at Book Expo America so enjoyable and inspiring.

Let’s start with the Avon Tea.
Huge thanks and hugs to the librarians, Avon Addicts, and Avon team of prof...

Live & Virtual Author Tour for Vixen in Velvet

This is the way I like to picture myself writing, but it's a lie.

This is the way I like to picture myself writing, but it's a lie.

Since Vixen in Velvet, my newest Dressmakers book, will be out in a matter of weeks, you may find me here and there in the course of a blog mini tour and the occasional live event. This is the brief interval when I get to spend time with my readers and potential readers and maybe some curiosity seekers.

As mentioned elsewhere on the website, I'll be at Book Expo America in NYC. Clicking on the link will give you an idea of ho...

EBooks in Australia

Cruikshank-The Blue Devils

My dear, patient readers in Australia,

First, thank you for taking the time and trouble to let me know you're not able to purchase the digital editions of my recent books. We had assumed that they'd be made available at the same time or close to the time the books became available in the UK. Without your emails, we would have continued in ignorance.

So, emails have been going back and forth and contracts reviewed and a lot of aggravating complications—which make international publishing bear...
