PiePie based on a panel from Moebius ApplePie with a mermaid from an early Toriyama Dragon ball.

A drawing I did of Takahashi’s Lum based on a Metal Hurlant cover that Moebius based on a Maxfiel Parish painting (and then another cover Milo Manara based on both)

and Priss from Bubble gum crisis (designed by Sonada) in a drawing based off of the Moebius drawing Starwatcher.

I've read through MW2 several times over and each time I found myself falling in love with the series all over again. The visuals elegantly carry the story, all in tune with your whimsical and witty writing. The two most important elements, though, woul

That’s so nice thanks! Hopefully I can get back to more MW stories in the future. The Sunshine and Moontoone stuff was some of my favorite scenes to make in that.

Is the ONI Press/Tokyopop Vol 1, 192 page version of King City the only version they ever published, or is it a compilation of previous King City issues? How many issues in the Image comics re-release cover that initial release before you started with

The big 20$ Image book has everything King city in it. The Tokyopp version is just the first half. The whole thing was 12 issues, 6 were in the TP book.

Hi just finished Multiple Warheads alphabet to infinity and loved them! I want to continue the story but are a bit confused what issue to buy next. Is Ghost Town or Ghost Throne the next issue in the series? Or is Ghost Town the paperback version that i

Thanks for reading it.

Alphabet to infinity is the first book,

It includes Downfall (which was the Image reprint of the 1st non porn chapter of the book)

After that is Ghost town, which includes Ghost throne

So if you get both of those books, you’ll have everything I’ve done so far with MW–

Dear Brandon I super need your help. I’m trying to find a comic from back in the day, I think it was Epic or Eternity, and it was about like an anthropomorphic falcon warrior, Phoenix princess, and griffin warrior in a tragic love triangle? And there wa

It sounds to me like the late great Vicky Wyman’s Xanadu. It was a fun series that jumped around from a couple different publishers. Thoughts and Images and Eclipse and maybe some other ones too. Very worth tracking down.

Ahoy, Cap'n.

I've found myself stuck in a creative rut and have come to ye in search of wisdom. I know I bring up King City & Multiple Warheads quite often, as they're part of my biggest inspirations, but I hope it doesn't get grating.

Such

Ahoy!!

My process is pretty simple for those two books. King city is just playing off of a lot of tropes with my own life and living in NYC Seattle and then Vancouver BC as the background idea for how cities work.

With Warheads initially I planned on basing the history of the place off of Russia, but got much more into reading about Mao’s rise to power in China.

Something to consider is that you don’t have to create anything whole-cloth. you can just start with a place and then come up with more of the world as you show more of it. most of my work is done with a rough idea that I build on as I work. It’s ok to just jump in and start on the story.
