Island #6 (January 2016) A Land Called Tarot
Such beautiful panels. The middle one at left above caught my eye because of the moss or grass that’s placed precisely around the seams in the stone walk.

青山葬儀所にて。
たくさんの貴重な展示に夢中、諸先生方の思い出話に爆笑。場内には鬼太郎関連の曲や不穏な音（笑）が流れ、妖怪ポストの前には荒俣宏・京極夏彦両先生が並び妖気を放つ。水木先生の奥様は何度も何度も、車椅子でご挨拶に出て来て下さり、その度にファンからどよめきと拍手が。
祭壇は京極先生のデザイン。水木先生の故郷鳥取と、大好きな南方の花で飾り付けられており、ご遺影の向こうの白い輪はあの世の世界。先生の作品にも出てくる「丸い輪の世界」をモチーフに。今日一日はその輪が開き、あの世と通じているそうな…。
ご法名は「大満院釋導茂」。水木先生の口癖でもあった「どうも」が入っていて、奥様もお気に入りだとか。
そして、天皇から…！
昨日までの寒空はどこへやら、爽やかな青空が見え広がるお別れ会でした。
