Guest Artist prints are dead. Long live the Guest Artist prints!

The Guest Artist program in the OOSA Print Shop is coming to an end this month… sort of. For the last couple of years, we’ve featured some truly amazing artists in the Print Shop on a monthly basis, and I couldn’t be more grateful and appreciative to have worked with each and every one of them. I’m also grateful for all of you who purchased a print or helped spread the word. But, October’s Guest Artist, Alison Sampson, will be the last of the era.

Starting in November, we will be doing something a little different. We will be opening up the OOSA Print Shop to a few select artists for them to use as an online storefront for their prints with no monthly rotations or time limits. I’ll be handling all of the printing, order fulfillment and customer service for them. They’ll have the opportunity to offer special edition prints, have choices of papers and sizes, or just print-on-demand open edition prints. It will be a unique opportunity for these artists to get their work out to the folks who want it and I’m excited to get to be a part in helping to make that happen.

The artists who will be offering prints through the OOSA Print Shop initially are as follows:

Jeffrey Alan Love

Brandon Graham
Nicolas Nemiri
Sail
Vanesa R. Del Rey

Sail already has a print available in the Print Shop, and Jeffrey Alan Love and Brandon Graham will have theirs available starting in November 1st. Other prints and maybe some new artists will be added in time after that. Be sure you are following OOSA on social media and have signed up for our mailing list to get the latest news!

Hey @royalboiler do you ever wonder where these things end up? Number Thirteen is hung by the chimney with care in sunny San Antonio.

Piggybacking on the question about Arclight #4, what's happening with the other 8house series? Or have they finished already?

None of them have finished yet.

Fil’s Yorris is gonna continue as soon as he finishes his reworking of ZOONIVERSE that’s running in ISLAND.

And Xurxo is turning Kiem into much larger chapters. I think that’ll be a straight to trade or giant issue.

And Mirror which was going to be 8house continues

and and From Under mountains that was also gonna be 8house is continuing with Claire and new artist Sandra Lanz (that’s her art below)

When you said that Arclight #4 is the end issue is that of the storyline or the series?

The end of the series for now. It’ll just be one trade.

Initially we were talking about a follow up series set in a school in the world but Marian has a lengthy comic of her own she’s starting and I’m taking a break from writing for other people while I do my next big book.
