CONGRATULATIONS SEAHAWKS!!!!

Need I say more? Well, one thing. Just heard an interview with Richard Sherman where he talked about how Peyton came and found him after the game to check on his injury (high ankle sprain). Now that's class! Lots of people jumping on the "Peyton lost the Superbowl" bandwagon this morning. Peyton didn't give up 43 points. That was Denver's D and special teams. Didn't the Bronco coaching staff watch ANY Seahawks film in prep for this game?? Hawks played just like they have all year. Did the same thing to the Saints... twice! And for those that want to give all the credit for Seattle's victory to their D, don't forget that the offense scored 3 touchdowns. That alone is more than Brady and the Pats in the AFC Championship. More than Philip Rivers and the Chargers in the AFC Divisional. This just showed what a well coached and VERY motivated TEAM can do. A final thought for you Niner fans out there... Kap will choke and Gore will be held to less than 50 yards. Can't wait for next season and a 49er loss to the Hawks in the new SF stadium! Get out the Blue and Green paint now!!

Are you prepared?

Ready for the Zombie Apocalypse?  How about just dealing with a couple of inches of snow in Atlanta?  If you haven't seen any of the news footage its worth watching just to see what a relatively insignificant weather event (yes I know it was significant for the deep South) did to a major city.  People stranded.  Children sleeping in schools, grocery stores, etc. because they couldn't get home.  So what would you do when something outside the norm happened where you live?  What do you do when the one or two days worth of food in you house is gone and either you can't get to the grocery store or the grocery store isn't getting its daily deliveries and has no food to see you?

You don't need to be a 'prepper', but there's common sense things to do.  Never let your gas tank go below half full.  Have a week's worth of food on hand (canned goods, dry cereals, etc.).  You may not be eating gourmet meals, but at least you'll be eating.  Have basic medical supplies on hand.  What if you can't get to a doctor if someone gets hurt or sick?  And in my humble opinion have a firearm available and know how to use it to defend yourself and your loved ones.  How long do you think the response times have been in Atlanta when people called 911?

Think it can't happen where you live?  Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Magpul leaving Colorado

Magpul announced they are leaving Colorado over restrictive gun laws that have passed in that state.  Good job to Texas for providing a firearm industry friendly environment.
