In her work as a midwife over the past half-century, Savta Chapman has been deeply engaged in the fields of pregnancy, childbirth, adoption, abortion, woman’s healthcare, inner-healing and deliverance, pioneering the restoration and reclaiming of the culture of birth for God’s Kingdom. Over the years she has founded and directed several Crisis Pregnancy Centers, an Adoption Ministry for interracial families and children with attachment disorders, led post-abortion counseling and inner-healing groups, worked as a Childbirth Instructor, Doula, labor and delivery nurse, and lay midwife. She has gone to jail for her beliefs and to court for her vindication. She has been to heaven and lived through hell. Her journey through the last seven decades has led her down paths into challenging physical and emotional handicaps, ruptured hopes, crushing pain, anguish and loss, as well as magnificent adventures of unimaginable intrigue birthing a life-giving, intimate communion with the Kingdom of Heaven and its Greathearted and Noble Kings. She has raised and homeschooled half-a-dozen kids, released several more to Heaven prematurely, cultivated and supported another half-a-dozen Compassion children, and several orphanages. She has raised chickens, bees, pigs, sheep, horses and gardens, raised the atmosphere in warfare, the roof in praise, and more questions than there are answers.
She lives in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with her children and grandchildren, sharing life with a wild forest of exquisite wildlife and landscape straight from the architecture of Holiness. With her gaze always on Eternity, she lives life backwards from there, in awe of how the King has jealously stewarded her journey.
