76 Calls for Submissions in January 2025 - Paying markets - Publishing ... and Other Forms of Insanity

Sorry this is late.
Today, Panzer made a stop at the Publishing ... and Other Forms of Insanity site. There our illustrious kitty boy discovered a post about sites accepting submissions this month (January). 
Erica Verrillo's list includes calls for fiction, short stories, flash fiction, nonfiction, and poetry submissions. Genres include crime, sci-fi, horror, weird, and just about any other you can think of. None charge a submission.

Panzer says, "Sorry, some of these had a January 1 or 2 deadline; also, some have submission restrictions. Be sure to read the guidelines before submitting."

Killer Nashville Magazine Online

2025 has hardly started and I'm already at work for you.
Panzer found the final 2024 issue of Killer Nashville Magazine is online.
The post has links to writing craft features, short stories, poems, and an author interview. On the main page click on a feature's title and you'll be taken to that page of the post.

These look really interesting.
Panzer stopped at the Publishing ... and Other Forms of Insanity site today. There he found a post about January's writing contests.
Erica Verrillo's list includes contests for fiction, short stories and novels, and nonfiction, poetry and plays. None of them charge an entry fee.
Panzer says, "You know what I always say: Read the rules and guidelines before you submit your entry."
