How to Self Publish a Hardcover Book on Amazon - Kindlepreneur
When Panzer was tootling around in the Catosphere today, our little adventuresome kitty decided to make a stop at the Kindlepreneur site. There he discovered a post about publishing a hardcover cover book at KDP. Panzer already told you about the new hardcover book option at KDP.
The post by Jason Hamilton explains in step-by-step instructions how to publish your book at KDP. While the instructions are simple, the post does include a rather hard sell on a formatting software he recommends. There are no formatting instructions for your manuscript if you don't get the software. The rest of the instructions, however, are easy to follow and can be used to upload your finished PDFs.
My work is never finished.
Panzer says, "Doing a hardback is now next on my list."
Note: This is a long-medium length post. Bring a big cup of tea, a muffin and a brownie.

Blue Origin confirms it'll give Star Trek captain William Shatner a suborbital ride - GeekWire
Panzer just found some more Star Trek news for you over at the GeekWire site.
According to a post by Alan Boyle, Capt. Kirk (also know as William Shatner) is heading into space. He's booked a flight on Jeff Bezo's Blue Origin on October 12. At 90 years old he will become the oldest person to go to space. There's a video clip of an interview with him talking about going on the flight. There's a link in the post to watch the launch live-streamed.
So I'm not the only one dreaming about stars.
Panzer says, "I didn't know he was that old."
Note: This is a long post. Bring a cup of tea, a muffin, a chocolate chip cookie (biscuit) and a brownie for today's reading excitement.

Today Panzer found an announcement at the Tor.com site about the new Star Trek series. The new Star Trek will be about the Enterprise before Capt. Kirk took command.
According to Emmet Asher-Perrin's post, the new Star Trek series has no start date yet. There's a YouTube video trailer with all the stars introducing themselves at the beginning of the post.
I like dreaming about the stars.
Panzer says, "This little kitty has always been a Star Trek fan."

Amazon CEO: Relationship with Seattle City Council has become 'rougher,' but hope remains - GeekWire
Panzer made a trip to the GeekWire site today to see how the 2021 GeekWire Summit went.
According to a post by Mike Lewis, an interview with Amazon CEO Andy Jassy by Todd Bishop brought out some interesting information. One thing of interest was the fact CEO Jassy doesn't call Seattle (Washington) Amazon's HQ1 any more. He instead refers to the Puget Sound area as Amazon's HQ1. This can be traced back to the Seattle City Council's attempted employee head tax of 4 years ago which would have charged Amazon a tax for each employee in Seattle. Amazon has since been expanding the company's footprint to other cities in the Puget Sound area and hence the Puget Sound HQ1 designation.
Never bite the hand that feeds you.
Panzer says, "This little kitty isn't sure why Seattle wants to get rid of Amazon. Didn't they learn anything when Boeing moved their headquarters out of Seattle?"
This is a medium length post. Bring a cup of tea and a muffin for today's educational reading.

A New Panzerism
Panzer on making unplanned decisions:
Mom said the weather is getting colder. She said tonight is going to be a two cat night.
Now, if he's covered in catnip ...
Yeah right. Two cats in her bed? Over my dead body.
Wait! Wait!
I mean over the other cat's dead body.

That Person Who's Always An Expert! - Smart Girls Read Romance
Panzer was just taking a leisurely trip around the Catosphere when he heard giggling and chuckling outside the Panzermobile.
Reminds me of What's His Name.
Following all the noise took our inquisitive kitty boy to the Smart Girls Read Romance site. There he found a post about those know-it-all humans we've all been subjected to in our lives. And how one human got even with one of those know-it-alls.
Panzer thought you might enjoy reading what was causing all the giggling.
So, here for your reading pleasure is the post by Caroline Clemmons

Coral Springs Barnes & Noble to Open Oct. 6 - Coral Springs Talk
Today's trip took Panzer to the Coral Springs Talk site. There our intrepid kitty traveler discovered Barnes and Noble is opening a new store in Coral Springs, Florida.
No big restaurant inside? Good!
According to Kevin Deutsch's post, the new Barnes and Noble will open in The Walk. Barnes and Noble previously had a store in there which closed in February 2020. The new store will be a little more than half the size of the old location and will focus more on books.
Panzer says, "It is a bookstore, so it should focus on books."
Note: This is a long-short length post. Bring a cup of tea for your reading today.
