I'm so excited because my totally crazy, holiday season, Ruff Christmas book is available from Amazon tomorrow.

Book Distribution

This is something I have just learned, that I think will be very beneficial to UK authors. At Ruff Life we wanted to increase our distribution area for our paperback book, so a copy of It's A Ruff Life was sent to Gardners, the biggest book distributor in England. Our book was turned down, we were told, because it is only currently being created as a print on demand book by Createspace.
If you want to sell your books in stores then you will need to use a different print company than Createspace, or an additional print company to createspace.
I think having two print companies is a win win situation, it provides the best of both worlds. Using createspace allows you to ensure that your book is correct from any default or error before you send it to the second print company . This will stop you from making very costly mistakes before you buy lots of copies to market yourself
. It is also a good idea to have a copy of your book on Amazon as a backup sells area.

Ruff Life Cartoon
Had my first attempt of writing a cartoon script around Bella and Max the main K9 action characters of my Ruff Life book series. The first and second drafts ended up being binned.
It is such a different style of writing and mindset that is needed to write in that genre.
It was a great experience, and one I need to continue to Diamond In The Ruffpractice.

A first for Ruff Life at the CMC Event in London
We are so excited that we will be attending the CMC (Children's Media) event in London tomorrow.
We have had the most amazing business cards designed for the event. And we are looking forward to talking to some of the really big media companies to see how we can further expand. So watch this space!

Ruff Christmas is nearly ready for launch date
Hi EveryoneWell we are getting towards the final stages of putting Ruff Christmas together for it's launch at the end of next week.
We have sent for a proof to finalise the back cover colours and we are waiting for one more piece of artwork to include at the back of the book. The sketch drawings are amazing.
You will be in for a really good laugh with this book, so if you haven't already entered the Goodread's giveaway for Ruff Christmas then now is your time to do it.

Ruff Life is Branching Out
Life is crazy at Ruff Life at the moment with all kinds of exciting and crazy things happening.
I will give you more information as each new product and event unfolds.
One thing I can say is that very soon you'll be able to get the Ruff Life series of book covers as puzzles and games, but more about that nearer the time.
The editing for Ruff Christmas is coming along well and we are really excited for it to be released
