Looking back on Meowth’s sprites/art, you can see GameFreak trying to make this lad thinner and thinner with every iteration, which is a shame because I love this chunky gremlin~

Today is the start of a new month so I took the time to reflect on that last 30 days; what I wanted to do, what got in the way, and what actually got done.

All things considered, last month was indeed a mess—a very stressful mess—but I managed to still be quite productive. 😊🌻

There’s a lot I want to get done during October and, though I already know things will get in the way, I’m doing the only thing we can do in times like these:

I’m so grateful for this little guy (and the big guy who made him 😉). The Binding of Isaac has always been an inspiration for me. My books wouldn’t be anywhere near as strange as they are without it!

The version zero of the site is all done, or as done as it’ll ever be before I start iterating. All I gotta do now is make some art assets + the first few character pages~ 👀✨

I thought doing this phase alone would take weeks to coordinate and yet here we are, a few days later and already working on phase 2.
