Is that… a new character profile? 👀🌈
I’m so glad I finally have a place to showcase the thought process for the cover of volume 1. Also, not so glad for it, but there’s a really (really) old doodle of Archer that I never ended up posting because I kind of hated my art at that moment 😅
Let’s Write a Novel ⭐️ Day 1 (2,084/70K)
Back to writing, baybeee~ 🌻☀️
The goal is to write book 3 of #TheFabulousGays!
You know the drill: one chapter a day. My focus is chapters, not words per se. And, as always, I’m gonna be posting writing insights below! Let’s go!!

So I felt some hesitation yesterday, I recognized the siren song of “hey why not procrastinate some because writing a novel is scary” and I said SCREW IT. I posted I would start today, I made the tracker, I told my wife I would start—and I DID.

This is an interesting situation!
For me, an idea becomes a story idea when I flesh out the characters. When I ask what these characters what they want—and why they want these things. A story is more than just events on a timeline. It’s about people, people who make choices, people who don’t always do the right thing, people who make mistakes—and people who, against all odds, can change the world for the better.
It’s always about character. When you flesh out a character, you learn more about them...Is that… a new character profile? 👀🌈kirin...

Dear Max, I always want to write story, but my ideas never stretch so far to become a whole story. I’d really appreciate to hear any advice you can give me. Your work is great!

Working on a word tracker for this book I’ll be starting very, very soon~ ✍️🌱
Today I could hear the siren song of “Let’s Wait Until You Feel That You Are Super Duper Ready to Write” and I took that as a sign to just wrap everything up (this tracker being the very last item on the list) so I can just get started writing tomorrow morning~
