Let’s Write a Novel ⭐️ Day 3 (10,460/70K)

We were supposed to lose power again today but, as you can imagine, the day I was ready for power to go out—it didn’t. Oh well!

Today’s writing was good. A lot happens in book 3, so I’m trying to give each character a moment on the spotlight. 🤞

I used to dread having to redescribe things between books but now I look at it differently.

Instead of reminding readers what people/places look like, I focus on how they’ve changed. How has the town changed? What’s different about this character from the la...

Let’s Write a Novel ⭐️ Day 2 (6,597/70K)

When the power came back, I opened up my novel to find… nothing. I thought I was going to get a heart attack! I thought I’d saved before the power went out. I mean, I save every other sentence.

So, what happened here?

I thought I had lost some work. I mean the power went out, I must’ve lost *something*, I wasn’t expecting all the day’s writing to have vanished.

So I start panicking. I look at the Scrivener backup. Nothing. Empty. Okay, panicking more. I look at the D...

i don’t know if “libby” is a website or something but i really just like to imagine that you call the library “libby”

Libby is an app that let’s you use your library card to borrow digital versions of the books (and audiobooks) available at your local library. It’s seriously awesome. Libby is the reason I’ve been able to read something like, 20 books in the last two months.

That being said, Libby is an adorable way to call the library. I think I might just start calling it that~ 😉🌺

The power went out half-way through me writing today’s chapter. I was able to finish it (had to do it on the laptop), so everything’s good~

Won’t know exactly how much I wrote until the power comes back, but that’s the least of my worries 😅
