The text-to-speech system on my Chromebook is actually waaaaay better than expected, so hearing my manuscript read back to me in an almost-human voice was so cool! Chapters 0-5 are LOCKED IN 🔒

Very good editing session. Chapter 8 had a rough start, but after I cut the culprits (+ rephrased a couple more) it flowed so much better. Chapter 9 and 10? Hardly any edits.

That’s the rub. Every chapter is different, and that’s okay. They’ll all get better soon enough. 📝✨
