Wait. No. Reverse that. His stories are designed to CAUSE a future war between...

Wait, no that's wrong, too. Dammit. This time travel stuff can get confusing. Give me a second. Okay, I think I've got it.

His stories are about unicorns.

Just back from my writing group, where tonight we workshopped my latest piece. Very good workshop, lots of good feedback, and tons of things to focus on in the future.

I read this book off-and-on slowly over time, so I don't have the full-picture sense of it that I would have if I'd read it in one sitting, but it's extremely well thought out, extremely well written, and very recommended. I feel smarter for having r ...more

I adored the first book -- Every Day -- and I adored this one, too. It's basically the same tale, but from another character's POV, and Levithan does a remarkable job of fleshing her story out. I honestly think a person could read this book first and ...more

This is a very good book, but still not as good as book 1 of this trilogy. I'm glad I saw it through and I love the world, but #1 is the only book that really felt perfect.

Very dark and gory. If that's what you're looking for, the stories and art are decent, but other than the first story (The Cape) I was mostly unimpressed. But it comes highly rated, so maybe real comic aficionados will see genius here that I'm not.
