Blade Runner 2049 Article

Many thanks to Mere Orthodoxy for publishing "Cells Interlinked: The Quest for Humanity in Blade Runner 2049," an article I co-wrote with Zach Boyd. The film is not only a masterpiece of cinema, but a sustained meditation on such themes as human ontology, the soul, natural law, and sacrifice. You can read it here:

Thank You

My sincere thanks to all of you for sharing the news about After So Many Fires . I genuinely appreciate the lively strings, horns, and cymbals you've played in my promotional band. Your enthusiasm is greatly appreciated. If you are part of an organization that might like to host a reading, please let me know. I'd be honored to sing a few lines of verse in your hallowed halls.

I'm planning to read with the poet Mischa Willett this summer in Seattle. Stay tuned. My next scheduled reading is at Auntie's Bookstore (Spokane) on May 12th at 7:00pm. My good friend Shann Ray (American Book Award recipient and author of American Copper ) will be reading as well. Please join us if you are able.

The road goes ever on and on ...
