Yesterday I finished the 100 pages of my UF an editor requested! YAY! I have it being proofed and will have it to my agent over the weekend. I did Damion copy edits and turned them in. Another big YAY! Tomorrow I am preparing for a busy November of blog stops and contests! Then Saturday I get to work on HOT VAMPIRE TOUCH!
And tomorrow night I am going to see Paranormal Activity!! I am sure that means I won't be sleeping tomorrow night!

Lena Riddle, the heroine hears a woman screaming for help. But when she called the cops and they came out to investigate, they couldn't find anything.
Here's the set-up…
A woman, living in a big old farmhouse out in rural Kentucky, a few miles outside of a small town. She's having a dream…of the hot and sexy variety, about this hot and sexy guy. And all of a sudden, it takes a dark twist because she hears…Help me!
She jerks awake, not sure what she heard…and there it is again… "Help me!"
Her dog is freaked out, she is freaked out…she calls the cops. Well, 9-1-1, anyway. The county sheriff sends somebody out, but it's well past midnight, they can't see anything—she's got woods all around her house and there's just nothing there. No sign of a car wreck, nobody stumbling around outside calling for help. Nothing.
But Lena knows what she heard…she heard a woman screaming for help.
What can the cops do, though? They don't exactly not believe her. Well, there is this one. Deputy Prather. But he's an ass, and we don't have to count him, right? They just can't figure out what to do when there are screams…but no apparent victim.
Then, a few days go by, guess what they find…a body.
All sorts of crazy starts to happen.
Remember that hot and sexy guy I mentioned? The one Lena was dreaming about that night? He's a state cop—on leave after a bad injury screwed up his leg, his life, his mind. Lena was the last thing he was looking for…and exactly what he needed.
If Lena's involved—and she is—he's going to be involved, too. He has to be, because he's already figured something out. Lena's a witness. She only heard a woman screaming, and that's not much evidence, but she knows more about the killer than anybody else does…

Howdy all from snowy Colorado today. Beautiful snowflakes are falling and I am cozy by the fireplace. I apologize that I didn't get to comment much yesterday on the replies. When they stood up to head back to the bedroom, he grabbed the empty pizza box and put it in the trash inside her pantry, while she put the plates in the dishwasher. They turned toward each other at the same moment, and he reached out and caught her to keep them from colliding. The touch was hot, electric, consuming. He didn't even consciously think about what came next. One minute they were staring at each other and the next he was kissing her, or more like devouring her. He lifted her, removing the barrier of his height, allowing himself to deepen the kiss, to taste her more fully. Her legs wrapped around his waist, his hand finding her backside where the shirt had lifted, where a tiny strip of a thong did nothing to cover her. He groaned with the realization, and he knew he should stop now, before he couldn't think straight, before this went too far. Her hand slid into his hair, caressing his neck, the gentle hunger he felt in her arousing the animal that was his vampire. He could smell her arousal, almost taste the sweetness of her blood again. His gums tingled, and he knew he was in trouble.
Aiden set her down on the counter, intending to pull away, to end this now, but somehow his lips traveled the delicate curve of her neck, his hands the curves of her high, full breasts. His fingers found the stiff peaks of her plump nipples against her thin shirt. She gasped at the intimate touch and then moaned as he tugged the delicate peaks.
Hunger roared inside him and he kissed her again, desperate for an outlet to release the heat building inside him, the need to taste her, the need to drink from her. Sex would satisfy him. He'd lived this. And sex was only sex. It meant nothing. He knew this, he'd lived this so long, maybe too long. But in the far reaches of his mind, he knew Kelly was different, that she was already more than sex. He rejected that idea, and shoved her shirt up her body, then tugged it over her head, and tossed it aside.
Her hands went to the counter behind her, the position lifting her full breasts higher. He pressed her thighs apart, his gaze ravishing the little spec of silk in the V of her body. He leaned into her, his hands went to the counter beside her, their eyes connecting. "You're beautiful," he said, one of his hands caressing a path up her stomach, over one of her breasts, teasing the stiff rosy bud of her nipple.
Her lashes fluttered, dark half moons, on pale, perfect skin. "Thank you," she whispered.
He almost laughed at the polite prim words as she sat in nothing but a black thong on her kitchen counter, and he might have teased her, if not for the urgency growing inside him. His gaze slid over her full red lips, then raked over her lush breasts and puckered nipples, his hands following the same path. He dipped his head, brushed his mouth over hers.
He reached down and slid his fingers over the wet silk between her thighs. "Tell me to stop," he told her, shoving aside the material and caressing the wet heat of her body. "Tell me to stop before we both forget why this is a bad idea." He pressed inside her, caressed her.
"I don't normally just hop on a kitchen counter for a man I just met," she said breathlessly. "And since I really can't think right now," she paused, rocking against his hand, then moaning softly. "Why exactly is this wrong again?"

Today's blog stop and contest, Aspen, PW review of Michael, and more!
First I am HERE today with prizes.
Michael got a review at Publishers Weekly. It's odd for them to do this so past release but I am appreciative in a big way that they did. It's series exposure before STERLING releases.
the novel's strengths lay in scenes of Michael's bad-boy rawness and fierce possessiveness, which are at odds with Cassandra's headstrong determination as they passionately fight over strategy–both on the battlefield and between the sheets. The couple's high-intensity relations will thrill readers who like their heroes dangerous and their heroines fearless.
I just got back from Aspen and we had a great time. It was off season so it was quiet and romantic. Our Cat, however, did not enjoy the trip. I put a video of her crying and lots of pictures HERE and HERE.
