My First TEDx Talk
TEDxIMUV was my first TEDx talk. Topic of my talk was My Mission Our Mission : Stories of Soil. The idea was to customise any awareness program keeping the sensitivities of people that could be associated with culture, beliefs, ideas, perception to make it workable mission. I choose ‘stories’ to tell the message to 50 women colleges and several schools. The message was that its important for a girl to be educated and why forms the rest of talk.

The organising team made us feel at home. Thanks to Mr. Ritwick, Organiser of TEDxIMUV and Mr. Udith, Coordinator for making a memorable visit to Vizag. Director and all the students were always at toe foot to help/ assist. It was wonderful to see The Hindu newspaper mentioning about the event. I also like to acknowledge QtPi Robotics team for their support.

Stories of Soil: Dreams & Aspirations
How does one count success? If its uncountable, can I take a reference point? If yes, whose or from where?! As these some questions leaves us thinking to know ourselves!
Workshop was held at Indian Maritime University Visakhapatnam surrounded by beautiful location. It was wonderful to stand among the future Naval Architectures. The workshop was conducted by Santosh Avvannavar.

Build an App and play with Robot
As I child I did have a share of making earthen pots that I could own to my credit. Perhaps that was all about building or creating that brought bundles of joy! I couldn’t have imagined there could be a day where I could not only build a physical robot but also create a function (like app) to run the robot. Sounds cool? Yes, I witnessed today at New Home of Reaching Hand, Bengaluru.

Children of age 6-17 participated in building Remote Control car (RC car), the kit of QtPi helps in building several geometry. No wonder, they have an interesting tagline ‘One kit; unlimited possibilities’. With a motherboard that is not pre-programmed helps to collaborate with any app that is created by the user. Thats seem a cool feature for me!

Seeing children build robots, as for all it was first time experience seemed to me ‘One kit; unlimited happiness’.
