Saint Patrick's Arrived Early

Good afternoon.
In my last blog entry, I stated the Saint Patrick's Day 100 Recipes would be released mid-February...well...apparently a leprechaun got his hands on it and it's available now. This gives the buying public exactly 43 days to buy the cook book. Might as well have it out there, as it isn't doing any one any good perched on my hard drive.

The Easter book is finished. I need to proof it, then select the pictures and cover illustration and then hand that off to my friend who formats it for me.

I had also listed Chili as a possible cook book, and Spring and Summer as well. I've had a request for Slow Carb, too. So...going to dive in and see what I can come up with.

In the meantime, check out the growing selection in my series and treat yourself. You'll be glad you did.

What's Cooking Currently

Good news kids - my sales this month have exceeded last month. Not by a lot, but some and some is better than none. There's still two days left in January, so come on folks - get your Nutella 100 Recipes and Valentine's Day 100 Recipes now.
World Nutella Day is February 5th and Valentine's Day is on the 14th. You don't want to be caught short for either day.

In other news, the proofing I do for a fellow author has resulted in the publication of The Girl With Wings, the first part of a new erotic fantasy series by erotica author Lexi Dare. Available now for the Kindle for $2.99 - don't miss out.

Easter 100 Recipes, is shaping up nicely. Working on the side dishes at the moment.
Lasagna 100 Recipes is finished. I'm trying to decide when I want to release it. It's a fantastic collection of lasagna recipes, which I know you'll love.
Saint Patrick's Day 100 Recipes will be available mid-February. I'm really excited about it. With more and more people celebrating Saint Patrick's Day here in America, I thought a cook book for the occasion was in order. The majority of the recipes are traditionally eaten on Saint Patrick's Day or are of Irish origin. There's one candy recipe included in the Dessert section I'm particularly excited about bringing to your attention as it's something not usually seen outside Ireland. I hope you'll enjoy making it's acquaintance.

Other cook books in the series for future release will be:
Spring 100 Recipes
Summer 100 Recipes
Curries 100 Recipes

Oh and something else - you don't have to own a Kindle to take advantage of Kindle publications. Amazon has a free Kindle Cloud App for your desk top, lap top, or Android/iPhone, so no Kindle, no problem.

An author's work is never done, so it's back to the keyboard and, in my case, kitchen, I go.

I need some champagne to christen this maiden voyage

I've been so wrapped up in eating and writing, I've not had time to start this blog. I'd always think, "I'll get to it tomorrow", or "I'll start on the blog later". Then a fellow author asked me, "Have you started your blog on Goodreads yet?", this after she and I had been talking about how often she should make blog entries here on Goodreads. I sheepishly told her I had not. Sooo...here I am.

Writing the 100 Recipes series has been a load of fun. Sifting through recipes, deciding if one or another is appropriate, feasible, viable and...tasty. I wasn't even sure there could be 100 recipes using Sriracha...but there can!

Holidays are a little easier - except I always want to balance between the tried and true traditional and new recipes looking to find their place on the holiday table.
The next holiday book will be for Saint Patrick's Day, which I'm really excited about as I was able to track down and include some authentic Irish recipes. There's one recipe for some candy that is ancient and apparently they only make it in Ireland, so I'm excited to bring it to the attention of American cooks.

Easter will get its book and one of our favorite dishes, (but most avoided due to it's perceived complexity), lasagna, will see it's own book soon.

So...this concludes the first entry. I enjoyed it, I hope you did, too.
