Disappointed that a search for garden history books on Goodreads brought up a great many novels and hardly any books on garden history, I started a Goodreads Group for Garden Design History https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/... . Then I added landscape architecture to description because the two subjects overlap. The main idea was to have group bookshelf for the subject area but I would also be pleased to use the group for discussion. So please join the group if you share an interest in the ideas which underlie designs.
