Cover Reveal - Redeemed by Brie Paisley

Cover Reveal
Redeemed by Brie Paisley Worshipped Series Book #3

Jason

I’ve lived in total darkness for as long as I can remember. A dangerous place where pain, love, not even remorse was felt. My world was filled with blood and death until the day I met Karen. Little by little she showed me the way out of that darkness, into her light. She was everything I needed and craved. I learned to fight my darkness, wanted the good side of me to win, until old and new enemies threaten to take away everything and everyone I care about. Darkness is winning and I fear the only one that can redeem me is the one I’ll end up hurting more than I thought possible.

Karen can save me, only if she beats the dark beast inside of me.
Karen

Control is the one thing I understand the most. It’s the one thing I’ve depended on to keep my fragile heart safe. That was my life until Jason changed everything. He opened up a side of me I thought had disappeared long ago, and the control I needed for so long doesn’t seem so appealing. There’s a void, a hole left inside me now that Jason’s not by my side. I know his demons. I know his dark beast that dwells within him waiting to takeover completely. I’ve seen it, felt it, and when the monster breaks free, I fear for everyone I love. He thinks I can save him, but in the end, he’s the only one that can redeem himself.
*Note: This is the final book of the Worshipped Series and is not intended to be read as standalones.*

Brie Paisley is a small town gal from Mississippi. She always wanted to write at a young age and was always filling journals with her thoughts and short stories. Brie started with the idea of Worshipped a year ago and with the encouragement of her husband and sister in law, she was able to write her first book. When she is not writing, you can find her reading a good book, painting, scrapbooking, or watching a good movie with her husband and her boxer.

Sweet Like Candy - Evie Harrison

Amazon USAmazon UKAmazon CAAmazon AU

Julia Kaye spends her days decorating cakes and daydreaming about finding Mr. Right.  She’s tried it all—fix ups, speed dating, online profiles and even a popular phone app, all with no success.  She’s sure her dream man is out there, but she’s done trying to find him herself.  She figure's when it’s meant to be; fate will find a way.

Ryan Walters is a workaholic who’s not looking for Mrs. Right.  He’s not even looking for Mrs. Right Now.  Instead, he spends his days focused on what he cares about most— amassing a fortune.  Aside from his sister and her children, Ryan has no time for entanglements of any kind.

What happens when one confirmed bachelor meets the sweetest girl in the world?

Happily ever after, of course!

The anxiety I’d felt being apart from Julia for almost twenty hours slowly melted away the closer I got to her work. By the time I pulled into an empty space in front of the store, I was able to take my first deep breaths of the day.
Seeing her through the glass settled me—even as it made my cock harden. Barking out a laugh of disbelief, I adjust my cock in my jeans so that the head was tucked against my waistband. Since my blue t-shirt was not tucked in, I was in the clear. No one would be any the wiser to my perpetually hard situation.
When Julia looked over and smiled the second I stood from the car, my heart skipped a dozen beats. I’d spent twenty hours thinking about her and her effect on me, but it was even more potent than I’d remembered.
I kept my eyes on her as I strode across the sidewalk and walked into Sweet Like Candy. “You’re here,” she said shyly as she came around the counter. I grinned at her as I did what I’d wanted to do every second since I’d seen her the first time. Without hesitation I reached out and linked my fingers through hers.
“Did you think I might not show up?” I asked. She hung her head shyly before nodding. “I started to think maybe it had all been a figment of my imagination,” she admitted. I squeezed her fingers. “This is all real,” I assured her.

Personal Observations from Michelle Hughes

So what does that means to the author?  30 days of pre-publicity even if your book is not chosen to receive a publishing account.  $1500 advance if it is chosen.  Either way, it's a win/win situation. Let's face it, marketing in today's over saturated book market is like pulling teeth.  Any advantage you can get to have your books seen, is worth considering.  75% of my book sales come from Amazon, as I'm sure a majority of authors do.  The better questions is why wouldn't you attempt to have your book included in the program, especially if you're already part of the Kindle Unlimited program, or plan on going that way?

Whether your book is a stand-alone, or the first book in a series, I think this is a great way to get your book out to readers that you may miss by excluding it.  So what are the drawbacks?  Waiting 45 days to self-publish your book if it's not chosen (but I look at that as a way to get pre-marketing done, which you should have been doing anyways to pump your readers up), and 50% of royalties instead of 70% (which is actually better for those people pricing at 99 cents instead of 2.99 or greater).

That's my take on the Kindle Scout Program, and please take the time to read more about it on their site with the link listed at the beginning of this post.  Don't forget to look at Cowboy Sanctuary there and nominate it, if you think it's a book you'd love to read.  After all, if you vote and I win, you get that book free, and that's something I don't offer normally. Here's that link: https://kindlescout.amazon.com/p/1H6NVWAEBLL57

Cowboy Sanctuary Nominated for Kindle Scout!

I’m excited to announce that my book, Cowboy Sanctuary, has been nominated for Kindle Scout! Please, click that link and read about the program as I give you the short version. This is a 30-day campaign where readers can nominate a book for a publishing contract. In their own words: "Kindle Scout is reader-powered publishing for new, never-before-published books. It’s a place where readers help decide if a book gets published. Selected books will be published by Kindle Press and receive 5-year renewable terms, a $1,500 advance, 50% eBook royalty rate, easy rights reversions and featured Amazon marketing."   I must tell you, I’m excited to be a part of this, regardless of what decision comes.  Now that you’re all jumping up and down with me in glee (if not please get busy), I want to share my campaign and encourage you to visit the site and nominate.

https://kindlescout.amazon.com/p/1H6NVWAEBLL57

If you nominate my book and it gets chosen for a publishing contract, you get the book free.  How blooming cool is that?  Think about it.  You go to that link above, nominate Cowboy Sanctuary, and then BOOM if it wins you get to read it FREE.  I know you're excited about doing that, but before you run off, can I share a little more about the book with you?
Cowboy Sanctuary is different from any book I've written before.  I wanted to go back to my roots and put out a love story that takes place in the country.  What happens when a city girl meets a sexy cowboy?  Can those two worlds collide and somehow mesh?  That's just a small plot in this book. You've got a psycho ex-brother-in-law, an adorable baby boy who hasn't met his real daddy, and a woman that was sure she wanted a career more than a relationship.  I think you're going to discover that Cowboy Sanctuary is more than just a romance.
Short Version
Long VersionI've also created a new site especially for this book: www.authormichellehughes.com  I hope you'll stop by and check it out!  In case you hadn't noticed, I'm really excited about sharing Cowboy Sanctuary with you, and can't wait for you to fall in love with the Dixon Boys! Thanks for joining us at Tears of Crimson. The daughter of baseball royalty…
Delilah Gray’s life revolves around numbers, research, and data. She has no time for anything messy like emotions or relationships. She is one curveball he never saw coming…
But this is one pitch Cash is determined to hit out of the park. Sexual tensions run high and feelings start to develop, but will Delilah ever see that they could have a solid future together? Determined to make her his, she may just prove to be the hardest game of Cash’s life.

WARNING: The Long Ball features an obsessed jock with six-pack abs in tight pants determined to get his girl. If syrupy sweet romance and fiery passions appeal to you, then hold onto your panties because this one may just hit them out of the park.

Watch the trailer HERE

Delilah     “So I fisted her ass in both my hands, slammed her against my front door, and right there in the hallway, man, her hands go for my di—”    “Hey, boys,” I chimed in just before one of the players went into a graphic story about his latest sexual conquest.  I rolled my eyes at Cash across the room, propped on a bench in the corner observing everyone.    “Ms. Grey.” The players’ eyes roamed up and down my body, sending a painful shiver through me. Baseball players are douchebags. I never thought I’d find myself here, behind the scenes and working with these rowdy, testosterone-injected jocks. But the coach was an old family friend and I couldn’t exactly say no, and for a former ball player he was a decent guy—married since he was twenty-one to a wife he adored—he kept his nose clean and was never known for any destructive behavior. I only wished that the other ball players in my life were like him.      “Prepared to play the best game of your lives tonight?” I stopped, nailing them with my eyes so they knew I meant business.      “Sure thing, hot stuff.” The player winked. I groaned inwardly just as my eyes landed on a soft, sympathetic gaze caressing mine.      “Show the woman some respect, asshole.” Cash socked him in the shoulder, then turned. His eyes nailed mine, and I felt my lungs empty like rapidly deflating balloons. I still didn’t know how I managed to keep my wits about me yesterday. Then last night while in bed, his dancing dark brown eyes and his cocky mouth ran through my head, the image so vivid that for a few moments I thought I could reach out and touch him.      The things Cash Greenwood made me feel didn’t at all sit well with me. He was arrogant, conceited, and without a doubt a total manwhore, just like all the other players on the team. I remembered the headlines when his buddy Rodriguez had been caught getting lucky with a fan in the locker room a few years ago. That was a shitstorm, and so was he. And considering they say like attracts like, I was pretty sure Cash enjoyed the same excesses. He was just lucky that his escapades were yet to be caught on camera.    “Mornin’.” Cash’s body pressed up against mine, his fingers trailing across the skin at my wrist like a kiss. His kiss. What would Cash’s kisses feel like? I could just imagine my fingers tracking along that rugged jawline, his broad palms splayed across my back when he pressed his lips to mine. I quickly snapped out of my reverie.    “All right, Ms. Grey?” Cash breathed against my neck and sent an explosion of flames through every last nerve ending I possessed. His breath was warm and tempting, almost intoxicating in its allure. “   I’m fine, thank you.” I swallowed, taking a single step back and averting my eyes from his. “And good morning, Mr. Greenwood.”    “Enjoy the game? ” His lips hovered just inches from mine, close enough to send waves of arousal pounding through my blood.      “I told you, I don’t like—”    “I know, I know, but I’m hoping I can change your mind about that.”    “Doubt it. I’ve spent too many hours of my life in the dugout. I know what to expect, and it’s not for me.”    “Spent a lot of time in the dugout, huh?” He tipped his head to the side, narrowing his eyes as he worked over my words.      “Grew up in one.” He arched an eyebrow. “So…you must have someone in the family who played ball?”         “Maybe.” I grinned, turning on my heel and retreating down the long hall that led to the field. I hadn’t meant to reveal that bit of information about growing up in a ball field, but that doesn't mean I had to reveal anything else. I never told anyone about my childhood. The chaos that surrounded it was already too much for me to bear. I wasn’t interested in rehashing any of it.

Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) - Introduction and Session

First I thought I'd let Tracy explain a little about healing through this technique:http://holistic-minds.com/
HealingThe Subconscious has the ability to identify any physical problem it detects within the body to a QHHT Practitioner and explain the causes for its presence, be it from the current life or a past life. The Subconscious is then asked if it is suitable for healing to occur, which, if it is, is done instantaneously with no medication, surgery or pain involved. Very often, simply understanding why a disease is present or why a particular emotion is being experienced is sufficient for it to be relieved and removed by the Subconscious.
Over the course of her career, Dolores had conducted sessions with clients where the physical healing that occurs had been challenging for even her to comprehend. She had been teaching her technique to students all over the world for a decade and many write back detailing miraculous accounts of a similar nature.
Before detailing this list of what is possible in terms of healing, it must be stated that healing can only occur if an individual wants to be healed and if it does not interfere with the goals of their lifetime. We are infinite souls who have incarnated on Earth for our own individual experiences. The Subconscious of a blind person would not heal his sight if being blind was one of the key aspects of his life he agreed to experience. Nor would it heal a physical problem someone had created through the lack of care for their body if they had not yet learned the lesson to love and respect their body. It is very literal in its thinking. Are you beginning to understand the logic?
There are no guarantees, but these were some of the remarkable results Dolores and her QHHT Practitioners alike have experienced with clients during a session:
Cancer of all types at various stages being cured    Cartilage being reconstructed between joints    AIDS being cured and eradicated from the body    Heart conditions being healed, afterward surgery is no longer required    Deteriorated livers being regenerated and restored to full function    Damaged kidneys being regenerated and restored to full function    Open flesh wounds being regenerated with no scarring    Migraines being explained and their root causes removed    20/20 vision being restored where people no longer need corrective vision    Diabetes being cured and the causes for it explained    Intestinal problems being cured    Lower and middle back problems being cured    Neck and shoulder pains being removed    Lung associated problems being cured    Skin problems

Nothing is beyond the realm of possibility. There are no limitations, except the limits of your own imagination.*

LOVE is all we need!Tracy
Love is a beautiful thing. It is all we need. We all need to learn to love everyone and everything. When we learn this, we can all go home.
This is a wonderful session that I conducted with a family member I would like to share.  There is a powerful message of Love. One that we all need to hear, and as promised, I am sharing with all that are open to receiving.
Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is a beautiful method developed by Dolores Cannon over several decades of practice in hypnosis with thousands of clients.  This technique will very quickly allow people to access that part of themselves that has all the answers and receive instantaneous healing if it’s appropriate.  (Find out more here: http://holistic-minds.com/ )
Many people call this part the Higher Self, the Over Soul, the Super Conscious; Dolores didn’t know what to call it, so she called it the Sub-Conscious – we have now started using the shortened term the SC. Clients see for Themselves and have a much clearer understanding of why situations and circumstances are the way they are. They are then able to create change as appropriateQHHT is a powerful tool to access that all-knowing part of ourselves that has been called The Higher Self, The Over soul, even the Soul itself. When we incarnate on Earth we forget our previous lives and connection to our souls and The Source. QHHT enables all people from any background, culture, religion or belief system to engage with what she called The Subconscious, since it resides beyond the conscious mind. Dolores’s term The Subconscious, which she later abbreviated to the SC, is that greater part of ourselves that is always connected to The Source, or God, and has unlimited knowledge and an unlimited ability to heal the physical body. Sometimes mental and physical ailments are rooted in trauma from past lives; sometimes they are connected to lessons being learned in a person’s present life. The SC reveals the cause and will assist in understanding any soul’s particular lessons. (www.qhhtoffical.com)

Mina is in her mid-40s and is a highly sensitive person.  She wanted a session to ask about a few things that have happened in her life along with some health problems she was having.  She is a highly sensitive person and has had many trials during her life.  It hasn’t all been “peaches and cream.”  From a very young age, she has dreamt about a man that she calls Rafe, who she loves very much, and has been an integral part of her life.  She feels like a part of her is missing, and is at her happiest when she is dreaming of their adventures together. As a side note, sometimes clients will not talk a lot and describe what they are seeing so it is necessary to ask a lot of questions when this happens.  I ask a lot of questions because otherwise, we would be sitting in silence.
In this session, we cover:
·         A very unhappy past life as a prostitute.  She was choked to death by a man that she hates. (Note that a couple of months before this session, Mina had to be taken to the ER because she had difficulty breathing. She felt like she was suffocating.)·         She experiences being reborn and being unable to communicate with her mother. In this lifetime, she marries the “Rafe” she has been dreaming about. We start to discover who he is.  And other than Rafe’s death, she experiences a wonderful, happy life with him.·         She goes the other side after her death and finds herself back with Rafe.  We discover more about who he is and about what happens to us after we die. (what we look like, how we communicate, etc.)·         She leaves the in-between unwillingly and is reborn again into her current family in this lifetime. We discovered that the man who killed her in the first life-time entered this life again to cause more suffering, for not just her, but her whole family. She has seen this man several times before in other life-times. We reveal a story of a war that has been going on from the beginning of time (and what we need to do to stop it)·         No healing is performed by the SC because it is almost time for her to return home. She discovers that this is her last lifetime, and she will “meld” with Rafe when she returns and be together forever.
T = MeM=Client(comments made by me)

Clients are taken to a cloud to float in time to an appropriate place to examine. Mina came off the cloud down into a huge, old city with lots of buildings and dirt roads.  The city was busy with lots of people coming and going and the noise of construction. You can hear aggravation in her voice as she is describing the scene.  She is not happy with being here.

T: Are you standing on the ground yet?M: YeahT: Are you surrounded by a lot of peopleM: Tons of people.T: What do they look like?M: Long dresses. Men in top hats. It’s a very busy, busy city.T: Wow, look down at your feet, tell me what you are wearing on your feet.M: I’ve got like white boots that tie up.T: What about on your body?M: Green dress, that I hate. (Note that she hates the color green in this life)T: You hate this green dress?M: YeahT: How do you have your hair fixed?M: It’s pulled up in a hat.T: um hum.. ..  What does your hat look like?M: It has big plume flowersT: What color are they?M: White and yellow, and I just really hate this hat! (smiling)T: laughs, Do you know why you wore it today if you hate it so much?M: NoT: No? its okay. How does your body feel? Does it feel young or old?M: I’m youngT: Does your body feel healthy?M: I’m healthy, but not happyT: Okay, are you wearing any Jewelry or any ornaments on your body?M: I don’t see anyT: Carrying anythingM: No, but I have glovesT: What color are your gloves?M: They’re whiteT: Yeah? What can you hear in that placeM: We’re in the street and its really loud.T: A lot of people talking?M: Talking and building and lots of things happeningT: Are you with somebody?M: yesT: Who are you with?M: It’s a man, but I don’t know himT: What kind of clothes is he wearingM: He has a top hat and in some suit. I don’t like him very muchT: Okay.  Is he taking you somewhere in this city?M: YeahT: Where is he taking you?M: I don’t know we are standing there right nowT: What else can you tell me about that areaM: I really, really don’t want to be thereT: Like you were forced to come out hereM: YeahT: Well let’s move forward in time, in this lifetime. Let’s go and look at the place where you live. We are now at the place where you live, and we are standing outside.  Tell me what you see?M: It’s just, I don’t really live there.T: But it’s the place you stay?M: The place I am at nowT: What does it look likeM:  It has a balcony, and postsT: What’s it made out of?M: Some dark woodT: Is it in the city as well?M: It’s in the cityT: How do you go inside the houseM: There’s stairs with lots of people in hereT: lots of people live in this house?M: yeahT: okay, let’s go up the stairs and walk in the front door. Tell me what you seeM: Lots of womenT: Are they dressed like you’re dressed?M: Yeah, they’re not happy eitherT: Do you recognize anybody in there?M: I have friends here, but were not real friends.T: Where do you stay in this house? Do you have a bedroom?M: I have a room upstairsT: Let’s go upstairs and take a look at your room? What’s up there?M: Just the bed and where my clothes areT: Do you share that room with anybody?M: NoT: Now I would like for you to see yourself eating a meal at your house. When sit down to eat a meal who all is there with youM: It’s a big kitchen. Some people are in and out. There’s not a real place to eatT: So people just come in when they are hungry and grab something to eat?M: yeahT: Is there one person there who cooks the food?M: Yeah, there’s oneT: What kind of food does she cook?M: Just beans, nasty stuff (laughs) There’s not a lot of foodT: Okay, well let’s move forward in time in this lifetime to an important time, which you consider to be important. We are leaving that scene to an important day when something is happening. We have now moved forward to an important day. What’s happening, what do you see?M: He’s gonna kill meT: the man beside you? Is it the same man you were with before?M: NoT: Who is he?M: I don’t know who he isT: Can you describe him for me?M: He’s been in the house before. (pause)T: Where are you at?M: We are in the street now, behind the houseT: is he talking to you? What is going on?M: He said I was a dirty whore, and I deserve to die. His hands are on my throat.T: Now you don’t have to experience this, you can look at it and just watch. You are safe and protected.  So his hands are around your throat now?M: yeahT: You feel helpless, huh?M: Yeah, I can’t breatheT: Let’s move past your death.  Have you come out of your body yet?M: yeahT: Can you see what’s going on there?M: No, not reallyT: You were behind your house and the man was choking you.  Can you see your body?M: yeahT: Describe the scene for meM: I’m lying in the dirtT: is he still there with you?M: he’s still there, he thinks it’s funnyT: He’s laughing at you?M: YeahT: That’s not very nice. Now that you are outside your body, do you feel lite? Good?M: I wanna go back and kill himT: um hum. (pause) Now from this perspective, you are on the other side of it. What has happened has already happened. From that position, you can look back at the entire life and see it from a different perspective. Every life has a lesson and a purpose. And as you look at that life, what did you learn from it?M: That I didn’t want to do that kind of work againT: What kind of work did you do?M: I was a whoreT: You were?M: Yeah..T: What else did you learn from it?M: That it wasn’t goodT: What do you think the purpose of that life was?M: I don’t know
(I drift and float Mina to another appropriate time and place. When she gets there, all she sees is blackness. She can’t hear, or smell anything.  She finally feels like she is laying somewhere hard, but she still cannot see. When this happens with a client, I just try to keep them talking because eventually the scene will play itself out)
M: I’m just lying thereT: Laying.  Like somewhere on the ground?M: Its hardT: So, you’ve got a hard surface.  Does your body feel male or female?M: It’s just heavy, I don’t knowT: Is the ground you are laying on feel cold?M: NoT: Can you feel grass? Or is it just dirt?M: It’s just hardT: And your body feels really heavy?M: Yeah, and I’m not supposed to be hereT: You’re not supposed to be here?  Okay?  Can you see a light over there in the distance?M: Way, far awayT: Yeah? So now you have a little bit of light. What else can you see with that light?M: It doesn’t make senseT: That’s okay, just describe what you are seeing.M: It’s opening.T: The light is opening?M: yeah (seems upset)T: Okay, that’s alright, you are doing good. Tell me what you see now?M: I think I’m being bornT: Oh? Awesome. How does that feel?M: StrangeT: Do you know why you came to this body to be born?M: NoT: What’s happening now?M: There’s a woman that loves meT: Are you a baby?M: A baby, yeahT: Can you see your momM: No, her face is blurred. She’s happy though(Sometimes when it is not appropriate for us to see things, we will see a “blur” where someone’s face is.  It wasn’t appropriate for her to see who her mother was.  I felt like it was me that she was seeing, but we will never know for sure)T: That’s nice, can you see any of her clothing, what’s she’s wearingM: Just a sheetT: Who else is in the room with you? Can you see anyone else?M: The DoctorT: Is it a male doctor?M: yeah, he’s big. A big guy.T: what kind of outfit does he have on? M: Long white jacket. He’s writing stuff down. I’m trying to talk, but she doesn’t understand me (I can hear frustration in her voice)T: You’re a baby, you can’t use your vocal cords yet. Is she talking to you?M: She’s saying she loves me.T: How does that make you feel?M: I’m happy, but I want her to understand me. (still frustrated)T: What do you want to say to her, if you could talk?M: I don’t think I wanted to be born again. I wanted to stay.T: Do you know why you came back down to be bornM: Not really (Mina begins crying. She is obviously frustrated that she must be here again)T: Do you feel healthy?M: I feel healthy, but I don’t want to do this againT: Okay.  Do you feel male or female?M: I don’t really know yet(I decide to move her forward to an important day when something is happening)T: What is happening?M: (gasping in wonderment) I’m getting married!(Mina’s mood completely changed!  She was smiling so big I couldn’t help but smile for her)T: Oh, you are getting married?M: It’s my Rafe!  (She became emotional and started to cry again. It was hard for her to speak for a little bit)T: Are you happy?M: Very happy (crying and happy)T: Are you getting married at a chapel?M: A church, a really big churchT: YeahM: We are very happyT: Is your family there too?M: Everybody is hereT: What kind of dress are you wearing?M: It’s a long beautiful white dress and veilT: um humM: I have pink flowers in my handT: Sounds beautiful. How is your Rafe dressed?M: It is beautiful, but he’s more beautifulT: uh huh, are you walking up the aisleM: We’ve already did our wedding. I’m just so happyT: Where are you at now?M: We are going to leave to go on our honeymoonT: Where are you going? do you know?M: Somewhere on a boat. It has these big paddle wheelsT: are you guys on the boat yet? What are you doing?M: Loving each otherT: That’s nice. It must feel very goodM: It does
(I paused here because she and Rafe were “Loving” each other and she was in complete bliss.  I wanted to give her a lot of time just to feel his presence again since she missed him so much. After a few minutes, I moved her to another important time in this lifetime)

T: What’s happening now?M: There going to shoot each other. (You could see the pain in her facial expressions as she is talking about this)T: Who is shooting who?M: My RafeT: Your Rafe is shooting someone?M: He is getting shotT: Where are you at?M: It’s a huge plantation. Rafe called him out. I hate this man.T: This man came?M: He was rude. Rafe didn’t like it.T: Did this man come to visit you?M: He came to visit Rafe. He is a business partner.T: What did you guys do on the plantation there?M: Tobacco farming. We have people do it. We live there.T: Did you live there by yourself?M: Me and Rafe and our kidsT: You had kids?M: Lots of babies, they’re almost all grownT: This man comes and.M: They fightT: Do you know what they are fighting over?M: Something to do with property, but he was ugly. Rafe said he couldn’t disrespect me.T: So, he was protecting youM: Yes, and he is going to dieT: So, the man there pulls his gun?M: He shoots himT: Where did he shoot him at?M: In his chest (begins to cry again)T: Then what happens?M: He dies (there is so much sadness in her voice it is palpable)T: Are you there watching it?M: They wouldn’t let meT: You just know what’s happening?  Where are you at?M: I’m at our house, and they call me. They bring him in to me.T: Who brought him inM: The workersT: What do you do?M: They call for someone to help. He’s just bleeding (crying)T: It’s pretty sad to see your husband that you love get shot like thatM: Yeah (long pause)T: What is happening now?M: I don’t want to let him goT: yeah. . Is he in your house now?M: He is on the floor and I am holding his head in my arms, he’s leaving meT: he didn’t mean to leave you, but someone shot him. Makes you very sad doesn’t it.M: I don’t want to live without himT: So, what happens?M: We are just sitting there
(She is so sad, and I didn’t feel there was any more to do here so I decided to move her forward to the last day in her lifetime)

T: What’s happeningM: All my family is around me. I’m in a big bed. I’m very old.T: So, you lived a long time.M: A long timeT: Do you feel love?M: I do (she is smiling again)T: What are you dying from?M: I’m just old, just old. I’m happy they are all hereT: Well that’s nice. You have your whole family around you?M: All my kids, and my grand kidsT: Do you recognize anyone there that’s in your life now?M: NoT: So, your body passes, and you are now on the other side of it. How does it feel?M: I’m back with Rafe! (said with excitement)T; Where are you with RafeM: We are at a beautiful place. We’re so happy.T: Can you describe it?M: There are flowers everywhere. It’s just beautifulT: Did he come and meet you when you passed away?M: He is always there. He waits for me.T: What are you guys doing in this beautiful place with all the flowers?M: We just walk hand in hand. He never leaves. They always make me leave.T: He never leaves? Well he came down in that life with you.M: Yeah,T: So, he leaves sometimesM: He usually stays.T: Well looking back on that lifetime that you just had. On this side, you can see it from a different perspective. And every life that we come into has a lesson and a purpose. And as you look at that life you lived with Rafe, what did you learn from it?M: How to loveT: That was the purpose of that life?M: I learned how to loveT: Feels good doesn’t itM: yes.T: So, you are with Rafe now?M: I’m with Rafe and I’m NOT moving (laughs)T: Is he talking to you?M: We don’t really talk, we think.
(Here Mina describes what it’s like to be on the other side)
T: You just know what each other is saying?M: We know everythingT: What do you look like?M: We are just lightsT: What color are your lights?M: He’s always yellow and I am always purple.T: and you are floating around in this beautiful place?M: Ahhhhh it’s like paradiseT: can you describe it?M: You have to see how beautiful, smells so good.T: What does it smell like?M: Just every flower in the worldT: Oh, wonderful. Sounds so peacefulM: it’s beautifulT: Are you guys just walking around? Is there something that you need to do with him?M: We just walk with other people, but they’re not like people, people.T: They are light people? Is that what you mean?M: Light people yesT: Are they different colors?M: Some of them are. But we stay with our light peoplesT: You have a group that you stay with?M: Yeah, they are our colorsT: Your colors?  So, he’s yellow and you’re purpleM: And we stay together with those peopleT: Yellow and purple?M: They are all yellow and purple, but we love the other’s too.T: Do you know why there are different colors?M: It’s just our soulsT: Does it have to do with? What makes a person a certain color?M: I don’t know. I think we were all just created that way. It’s getting really hot. They are going to make me leave him again (starts crying again)T: So who is going to make you leave?M: Those people (sighs) I don’t like them.T: Which people?M: They decide thingsT: Is it like a council or a group?M: It’s a whole bunch of themT: Are they also light beings?M: They’re different from usT: how are they different?M: More powerT: Are they advanced more spiritually than you guys?M: I don’t know, they just tell us what to doT: Have you ever seen them before?M: We don’t see themT: You just know telepathically?M: We know, EVERYBODY knowsT: Do you also know God, the Source?M: We don’t see him.T: Do you feel him?M: We can feel him in ourselvesT: Is it God telling youM: God lets them tell usT: So, do they tell you why you have to come back down?M: They don’t tell usT: They don’t tell you? You don’t get a choice?M: I don’t wanna leave Rafe againT: Right.. of course not.M: He says he will be waiting for meT: So why do they tell you, you have to come back down?M: There’s more stuffT: What stuff?M: I don’t know. Something they want me to seeT: uh huhM: I’m tired of seeing thingsT: umm hum, but if you can see it, maybe you can stay longer next timeM: MaybeT: Think about what they want you to see. Why did they want you to come down?M: We all have to be betterT: In what wayM: Our hearts, our souls, we all have to be pureT: so, we are working to be pure?M: yeah, we’re not pure, we hurt things. We don’t love enoughT: Not enough love?M: We have to get it right?T: Do you know why we are like this since we are part of God? I mean how did we lose our love so to speak we don’t love enough.M: I don’t know. I just know we have to learn. Rafe learned fastT: He did? Is that why he stays more often?M: He staysT: So, did he come down in that past lifetime just to be with you?M: It was a reward for somethingT: Something he did or you did?M: I don’t rememberT: That’s alright. That was a very nice reward.M: yeah..T: Are you and Rafe still strolling around in the garden?M: I’m having to leaveT: Okay, how do you leave?M: They send youT: They send you?M: In the lightT: Do you know where you are goingM: No, maybe because I don’t want to go. I’m not supposed to be angry.
(I asked her so many questions to try to corroborate what I have learned from other sessions and the things that Dolores writes about.  She is so focused on not wanting to leave her Rafe, that she doesn’t want to give me the information.  She realizes that she has to go back and it is her choice, but she just doesn’t want to leave again)

T: So, that is something you need to work on?M: Yeah, I don’t want to be born again. (she takes deep breaths)T: But this is where you have to come to learn how to loveM: YeahT: So, they send you through a light?M: Yeah that’s how we are bornT: And you come into the baby in the body of the mother?M: YeahT: Right before they are born?M: YeahT: So, are you coming down? Are you being born?M: I’m being born again and I’m not happyT: No.. Can you see your mother?M: Yeah, (smiling)T: Do you recognize your mother?M: YeahT: Who is your mother?M: She is my mom nowT: You came into this life?M: YeahT: Yeah.  What are you seeingM: Just my mom and she is laughing because I look like a monkey (laughing) She said I look like a monkeyT: Do you feel love from her?M: I do, I don’t think she knew she was having meT: Oh okayM: She’s funny..(laughing) I don’t think her mom and dad are happy eitherT: uh huh. Are they there at the hospital with you.M: I just see my mom, nurses and doctorT: How do you feel now that you see your mom and she loves you and she is funnyM: I am glad but I still miss Rafe
(I move her ahead to another important day in this lifetime)T: Can you tell me what’s happening?M: I don’t want to remember this timeT: Okay, that’s fine. It’s not time to rememberM: I hate that man!T: What manM: I’ve seen him before, many timesT: Where?M: He is the one that killed me beforeT: Oh, my goodness. In the other life that strangled you?M: I hate him!T: Why do you think you are back here in this life time with him again?M: I don’t knowT: Where are you at? What are you doing?M: My mother married himT: Oh..so he is in your life nowM: I hope he dies!T: Well you didn’t know who he was when she married himM: NoT: We don’t always know these thingsM: He’s evilT: What do you feel from him?M: He’s just evilT: Evil? Just dark energy?M: Yeah, he follows our familyT: Follows your family? Why do you think he does that?M: He has a grudge, I don’t know whyT: He has a grudge against your familyM: The Whole familyT: The WHOLE family? Like how big?M: For Ever

( Now here I just realize that she is not just talking about HER family, she is talking about OUR family, and I think back at this moment on how much suffering all of our family has gone through, and it starts to make sense to me)
T: Wow, how far can you see how far back it went?M: ForeverT: like from the point of creationM: from creation when he came intoT: Wow, I wonder why. If we could learn that information we could probably release ourselves from himM: He finds US, it’s not just meT: Who else does he find in your familyM: He finds everybody, just different times(I am double checking here because I don’t think that I want to believe we have evil following us around to make our lives difficult!)
T: So he finds different people in different lifetimesM: And makes us sufferT: Oh my goodnessM: We did something too thoughT: What did we do?M: We made his family sufferT: We did? Was that a long time ago?M: Real long time agoT: Do you know what we did?M: We hurt somebodyT: In a lifetime, we did?M: In the FIRST lifetimeT: Can you see who it was there that we hurt?M: It was a child; I don’t think we meant too. He didn’t care.T: So how did we hurt this child. I assume it was his child?M: yes, we killed it. It wasn’t on purpose, but he never can forgive. And he grows darker and darkerT: How did we kill that childM: I was dragging, I remember dragging but we didn’t know that he was thereT: So, he was on something that you were dragging?M: Yeah and he diedT: Awwh, that’s not your faultM: He hates us thoughT: Because of something he doesn’t understand. That it wasn’t your faultM: He doesn’t believe thatT: But we can tell him right nowM: He’s angry. Stays angryT: We can send him love. So, he can see the truth of things. Love heals all. I can send love with you too to him, right now, let’s send him loveM: Send him LoveT: Send him love. The love that can heal his soul. So, he can let go and you can let go. It wasn’t your fault. Just send him the white loving energy of God and it can heal all
(I decided after we did this little exercise of sending love to this man that is tormenting us, that we should go directly to the SC for answers.  She had been under for a little more than an hour and it was time to get answers)
<Call in the SC>T: Why did you choose to show her the lifetime where she lived in the big cityM: She needed to know what she did beforeT: why did she need that?M: So, she wouldn’t do it againT: Do you mean as her professionM: Yes, her profession. It hurt many peopleT: Oh okay, and she needed to know that so she wouldn’t hurt people again in this life?M: YesT: What about the life – in between with Rafe? What was the purpose of showing her that lifeM: So she knows where she will go in the endT: So, she knows when she gets through this life what’s waiting for her?M: He’ll be there waitingT: So, with those lives, what lessons did she learn?M: More than she knowsT: is she learning how to love more?M: She lovesT: But she is lacking in something? (pause) T: What does she need to work on in this life?M: Just letting goT: Letting go of the pastM: Letting go of all that painT: All the pain. let go of all the pain. Now she found and met this man that is in her life her family’s life following us around for a long long timeM: YeahT: can you tell Mina so we can help to move him to the right place, so he’s not angry and hurting us anymore?M: No, I can’t, there’s debts to be paidT: There’s debts to be paid? Are you talking about Karma?M: DebtsT: So, our family is paying debts?M: For things in his familyT: and we haven’t paid that up yet?M: not yetT: Will she clear her debt in this lifetime?M: She stays with himT: She stays with who?M: RafeT: Is Rafe like a guardian to her?M: Rafe is her one true loveT: Her one true love? Okay And that was before she came into a life time?M: They were born togetherT: Were they born together from God together?M: From the EssenceT: So, they’ve been together for all this timeM: And they will be together foreverT: That’s nice to know. So, Mina still has to come here and learn how to love, and to pay karmic debt because we hurt this familyM: It wasn’t just debtT: Can you tell us what it wasM: It was a warT: There was a war between whoM: The families, it started in the beginning and it’s still goingT: Where was the war when it was first happening? Was it on planet earth?M: Not hereT: A different planet?M: A different placeT: Like a different Universe?M: A different timeT: So, like maybe a different dimension? I’m trying to find words that we would useM: Another dimension would work.  There were two sides. They were on one, we were on the other.T: uh huh, and that war is still going on?M: Still goes on
(I’m beginning to realize that this war isn’t just a family feud. It’s something that affects all of us. So I want to confirm)
T: Is that the war I’ve read about between the dark and the light?M: it’s been called many thingsT: But it’s the same thingM: They are all the sameT: What can we do to better help fight this war?M: They have to come to an allianceT: What’s the best way for us as human beings to help achieve thatM: Pure LoveT: So we need to learn and send pure love?M: L O V E UnconditionallyT: does that mean to love our enemies?M: Love EVERYONE, EverythingT: Well that sounds like a wonderful thing to doM: Love can end thisT: So, if we all get together and LoveM: We can ALL be homeT: Where is home for usM: It’s not one placeT: it’s everywhere?M: Its everywhere, he’s spread out of everywhere, we all wanna go home(pause)

T: Mina has some questions she’d like me to ask you. If you could answer some of those for herM: I guess(This answer got me tickled and I giggled a bit. She smiled. You can truly see that our SC has its own personality!)
T: She sees Raphael a lot. Can you tell her who he is?M: It’s her one true loveT: So, Raphael is Rafe?M: That’s her loveT: So, she asked where he came from, but we found that out already. So, can you tell us what he is doing right now?M: Waiting for her. He always waitsT: He’s on the other side waiting for herM: Yeah he creates while he waitsT: What is he creatingM: WorldsT: So, he’s advanced faster than Michelle yeah?M: Yeah terraform stuffT: Terraform stuff, what is a terraformM: He terraforms, he makes worldsT: that’s nice, he’s a Creator Being!M; yeah
(I have read about the Creator beings in Dolores Cannon’s work and was excited to hear that her Rafe was doing that!  Here is the definition of terraform:Terraforming (literally, "Earth-shaping") of a planet, moon, or other body is the hypothetical process of deliberately modifying its atmosphere, temperature, surface topography or ecology to be similar to the environment of Earth to make it habitable by Earth-like life.
T: Is that what Mina, or we are all learning to do thatM: Just the ones that are yellow or goldenT: Oh, so that’s what the colors are for? So, our colors changeM: By what we doT: So what is the highest colorM: (smirking) uh White(she said this like of course its white!  Lol I felt bad I didn’t realize that)T: I’m sorry, so Gold is pretty good?M: Gold is goodT: So, is Mina still purple right now?M: She’s changing. She’ll meld with himT: So, they will meld together and become one?M: ForeverT: That sounds niceM: Its beautifulT: I think that she will love to know that too thank youT: So, the colors that we have when we are in spirit, does that translate to what we call an aura around us?M: People call it aurasT: So, it’s pretty much the same thing, the color of our spiritM: It can changeT: Is it our emotions that change it?M: Its more your life experience that changes itT: Oh okay, it’s kind of what’s vibrating within you, outwardlyM: Yeah they stay together, certain people. They work better togetherT: When Mina came back into this life, she told me she didn’t want to come back and we know she doesn’t want to leave Rafe. And I always thought we had a choice and, we decided where we were going to go, what we were going to do, what we were going to work on with a council of sortsM: I can’t tell you thatT: Oh okay, well I read it in some of Dolores Cannon’s work. She has been doing this for a very long time. Do you know who she is?M: NoT: Okay. Mina wanted to know if she truly gave up her singing voice to writeM: She gave nothing up, she just has to use itT: What's the best way for to use her voice?M: Just to keep doing it. She sang with Rafe.T: And she loves singing so much it probably reminds her of being with RafeM; Yeah, he does it too. It annoys me (smiling)T: It annoys you? (giggling)M: Yes (laughing) You should see it.T: So, she needs to sing again? It would make her happy?M: YeahT: Sounds like it would give her a connection to RafeM: Yeah, they are always connectedT: Well consciously she is not really aware of that so much she feels like she hasn’t been near him for nearly two monthsM: She hasT: Is she blocking that herself?M: She needs to heal, her body and mind.T: So, the journeys that Rafe and her shared, those are real?M: They are always realT: Sometimes hard for us when we are down here to realize that it is real. So, will Rafe and she be together in another life?M: This is the endT: She is going to be so happyM: And he’ll stop complaining too (laughing)T: So, he complains when she leaves?M: He’s not happyT: Neither one of them are happy.  Does she have more guardian angels around her besides Rafe?M: There are helpers everywhereT: Are they specific to her?M: No, just to everyoneT: Is there any specific ones that hang out to help her most?M: She’s just has lots of people in her family that watchT: Do they also assist her in decisions that she makesM: They try to but she is stubborn.  StubbornT: So, they tell her, and she feels it inside?M: And then she goes the other wayT: So, she doesn’t listen. It sounds like Mina needs to start listening to what she’s feelingM: yeahT: Does Mina have psychic abilities?M: Everybody has psychic abilitiesT: Well some of us access that easier than othersM: She could if she really wanted toT: Do you feel like she really doesn’t want to?M: I think she needs not toT: Okay. She need not worry about that right nowM: No, she has other things to doT: So she needs to heal herself firstM: yesT: Let go of the pain of the pastM: yeahT: What’s the best way to do that? Can you tell her to help her achieve thatM: Just Love the people around you. They are all here for something.T: Yeah.  She wants to know if you can help write through her. Help her reach her goals of becoming a bestselling authorM: We’ve been writing for her forever! (sighing and smiling)T: So, what should she write so she can reach her goal of that. What’s the best subject to write aboutM: Just sit down and write, it will flowT: You won’t tell her what category or subjectM: No, we’ve been talking to her foreverT: And she don’t listenM: She writes usT: She does?M: She doesT: I read you in her books. Should she continue this type of writing or is it better if she goes somewhere elseM: Do what she knows, it’s almost overT: Will she be able to become a bestselling author? Can you see into the future?M: Now what would the fun be in that? (laughing)T: (laughing) she might not try so hard. That’s true.  Okay so what is Mina’s purpose in this life?M: She just had things to tie up. She’s finishedT: Is there any advice to give her on how to do thatM: Just keep Loving everyoneT: Everyone, even people you don’t want to loveM: Even the ones you want to throw out a window, you have to loveT: Just send them loveM: Just love themT: It’s hard for us to do that.M: yesT: We have all these emotions and when people hurt us we tend to hateM: yesT: It’s hard to get over thatM: We have to learnT: What’s the best way of achieving that. Do you know? Like a process we could work on?M: We just tell ourselves that it is all for the better good. So, we can all move forward and go homeT: Okay well thank you for thatM: You’re welcomeT: Everybody will be knowing that! We’ll tell everybody we can tell!M: Just Love
From here we go into some of Mina’s health problems.  The SC would not heal anything because she said Mina is done. This is her last body and it won’t be long now.  The SC just kept telling her that she needed to Love, Love everything.  She was fine. When asked about her weight problem, the SC said that it was not unhealthy for her.   I asked the SC for any last messages and she said,
M: To… Love … EVERYONE

Noir City - Richard Godwin

Amazon US    Amazon UK    Amazon CA    Amazon AU

Dangerous, blonde Gigolo, Paris Tongue uses his looks and insight into female sexuality to seduce women in the Secret Hour. This is the time when he takes them out of their lives and resurrects their sexual identity, like an erotic priest. He turns fantasy into reality and ushers in new ecstasies to their lives. Yet sees himself as a night visitor or ghost. The women are haunted by him, their lives forever changed by their encounters. Set in numerous European cities, this lyrical and deeply erotic novel captures the flavour of each city, each hotel, apartment, house, as exotic settings for Paris Tongue’s sexual adventures. But when he seduces the wife of a Mafia boss he finds himself hunted across Europe.

Praise for Noir City:
Richard Godwin's Noir City is a lyrical hybrid of noir, erotica, crime fiction and psychological drama worthy of Hitchcock or Argento. Godwin unflinchingly and masterfully digs beneath the surface of London, Paris, Rome, Madrid and Dusseldorf and the cities' recalcitrant denizens as he follows the trail of gigolo Paris Tongue. - Braz
With Noir City, Godwin proves that he is, and always be, the god of noir. As steamy as this novel is, there is always the foreshadowing of doom, and death. Outside a twilight-lit hotel lurks a spy. Beneath any bed might be a blade. - Cynthia Rosmus

Richard Godwin is the critically acclaimed author of Apostle Rising, Mr. Glamour, One Lost Summer, Noir City, Meaningful Conversations, Confessions Of A Hit Man, Paranoia And The Destiny Programme, Wrong Crowd, Savage Highway, Ersatz World, The Pure And The Hated, Disembodied, Buffalo And Sour Mash, and Locked In Cages.
His stories have been published in numerous paying magazines and over 34 anthologies, among them an anthology of his stories, Piquant: Tales Of The Mustard Man, The Mammoth Book Of Best British Crime and The Mammoth Book Of Best British Mystery, alongside Lee Child.
He was born in London and lectured in English and American literature at the University of London.
