Scale Smarter with AI, Overcome Sales Objections, and Automate for Growth
If you’re an MSP leader looking ahead and wondering what the next three years will look like, you’re not alone.
Between the rise of AI, growing demand for co-managed IT, and ever-shifting client expectations, the future of the Managed Services industry isn’t just coming—it’s already knocking.
This week’s Tubbservatory brings together five powerful resources to help you not just survive that change, but lead through it. Whether you’re thinking about smarter sales, building better internal partnerships, or just trying to get your team to leave a voicemail (yes, really!), there’s something here for you.
Let’s dive in 👇
1. What Will the MSP of the Future Look Like?In a brilliant new video series from Pia, industry leaders like Ryan Barton (New Charter Technologies) and Cory Ruthardt (Simpatico Systems) tackle the big questions:
What are clients going to expect in three years? How will AI transform service delivery? And what does this all mean for how you run your MSP today?
This is a must-watch for anyone planning their next move.
2. Winning the Sales Game — One Objection at a Time
Let’s face it: sales isn’t every MSP’s favourite part of the job. But it’s a skill that can be learned—and improved.
David Frankle of Nayak.ai has written a superb article that walks you through real-world ways to respond to common MSP sales objections. His advice? Don’t just defend your value—demonstrate it with ROI-driven examples.
This one’s well worth a read for any business owner who wants to boost conversion rates without feeling “salesy.”
3. Don’t Hang Up — Why Voicemails Still MatterIt’s a running joke in many MSPs—your helpdesk techs would rather close 10 tickets than leave a voicemail.
But in this clever and relatable video from Harald Mann of Mann Consulting, we’re reminded that voicemails are still a crucial part of client communication. Especially when a personal touch can make all the difference in trust and customer satisfaction.
Tubbservatory: The 16 May 2025 Weekly Video4. The Rise of Co-Managed IT — and How to Make It WorkMore internal IT teams are reaching out for help. But can MSPs really collaborate with internal staff and still thrive?
The answer is a resounding yes, and Bob Coppedge has literally written the book on it. The MSP’s Survival Guide to Co-Managed IT Services is packed with practical frameworks to turn collaboration into a win-win.
If you’re exploring this growing area of opportunity, this book should be on your desk.
5. MSPFlow — Your Automation Roadmap Starts HereAutomation isn’t just a buzzword anymore—it’s a strategic advantage.
That’s why I’m excited about MSPFlow, a new vendor-neutral conference happening 24–26 June in Tampa, Florida. It’s all about unlocking automation’s potential in real-world MSP environments, with open dialogue and shared learning at the heart of the event.
If automation is on your radar this year (and it should be!), this is one event you don’t want to miss.
And here you go. That’s a wrap on another five-a-week resources from the Tubbservatory!
From scaling with AI and mastering sales objections, to working alongside internal IT teams and embracing automation, these resources are all about helping you work smarter, serve better, and grow faster.
Which of these caught your eye? Have you tried any already? I’d love to hear your thoughts—drop me a comment or connect with me on LinkedIn.

Rethink SAT, Host Better MSP Events & Walk for a Cause
In a fast-moving industry like ours, the right idea at the right time can be a game-changer.
Whether it’s sharpening your cybersecurity stack, simplifying client engagement, or boosting team wellbeing, staying ahead means staying informed.
It’s been a busy and energising week in the MSP space. I had the pleasure of attending SuperSummit in Manchester (always a brilliant event!) and spent some valuable time down in London catching up with great friends and partners in the IT channel.
Despite the whirlwind of travel, I’ve still had time to scan the skies for the very best insights, tools, and events that can help you build a stronger MSP business.
So here are this week’s resources I believe every IT provider should check out:
1. Are Security Awareness Training (SAT) Programs Actually Working?SAT has become a standard part of most MSPs’ cybersecurity stack — but what if it’s not doing what you think it is?
A recent Wall Street Journal piece argued that SAT might be doing more harm than good. That sparked a thoughtful response from Dima Kumets and James O’Leary on the Huntress blog. They challenge the assumptions around SAT effectiveness and offer a more balanced view on how these programs can be made better.
A must-read if you’re rethinking your cybersecurity strategy.
2. Project MSP – Run Client Events Without the HassleMSPs know that live events are a powerful way to build client relationships and win new business — but organising them? That’s a different story.
Project MSP, from the team at Fresh Productions, helps MSPs plan and host events using your existing resources (like MDF funds), while handling the logistics from start to finish.
MSPs like Chris Pottrell (Nebula) and Ian Groves (StartTech) are already seeing the benefits — and I think you might too.
🛠 A brilliant solution for MSPs ready to get in front of their clients, without the admin nightmare.
3. Helpdesk Tip – Be Curious, Not FuriousEvery helpdesk tech has been there — staring at a support ticket that seems absurd. Before you get frustrated, try this mindset shift: Be curious, not furious.
This fun and insightful video from Harold Mann of Mann Consulting is a brilliant reminder that empathy goes a long way in client service.
Tubbservatory: The 9 May 2025 Weekly Video4. Trundl – A Wellness App That Gives BackDo you want to encourage your team to get active and support great causes at the same time?
The Trundl app turns every walk into a charity donation — no competition, no leaderboards, just movement for a cause. It’s a fantastic way to boost wellbeing within your MSP and give back to the community.
Thanks to Hilary Mines and the Trundl team for creating something so meaningful.
5. Huntress Roadshow Comes to EuropeIf you’re based in Europe, don’t miss the upcoming Huntress Cybersecurity Success Formula Roadshow.
These events are well-known for being practical, engaging, and free to attend. The Amsterdam and Brussels stops are shaping up to be excellent — packed with actionable advice for MSPs serious about security.
Great content, great people — highly recommended.

Amsterdam – 20 MayBrussels – 22 MayAnd that’s a wrap on another five-a-week can’t miss MSP resources from the Tubbservatory!
From rethinking Security Awareness Training to running smarter client events and boosting wellbeing with walks for charities, there’s something here for every forward-thinking IT provider.

SuperOps SuperSummit 2025: Learn How to Use AI to Supercharge your Growth
The 2025 SuperOps SuperSummit took place in Manchester at the Hotel FootBall on 6 May. A full-day, free event for MSPs (managed service providers) and IT professionals with a sole focus – Superpowering your MSP growth with AI.
If you missed the event, or didn’t catch all of the presentations, worry not! Team Tubb has been working hard behind the scenes to quickly compile a round-up with the key takeaways from the day.
Arvind Parthiban: The AI Inflection PointSuperOps’ co-founder and CEO, Arvind Parthiban, opened up the day with a keynote about how the industry is at a critical moment. While ‘inflection points’ have appeared before, such as with the arrival of automation, cloud, and even the internet itself, this time nobody knows everything when it comes to AI.
Yes, ChatGPT and the like help with software building, but that has led, says Arvind, to ‘scrap software.’ In in the tech space, there’s a tendency to go all in on new tools, but if AI isn’t saving you money or making you money, why are you using it?
So, be clear-eyed and review each of your operations by complexity, personnel and task, and be honest about where AI is going to be help, and where it’s going to be a hindrance. Remember – it’s there to be an asset, not replace you.
Damo Vasudevan: A Practical Guide to AI-Driven AutomationSuperOps’ Product Executive, Damo Vasudevan, gave a talk on how to use AI to effectively deal with the typical challenges that MSPs face in their daily work. That included things like service delivery and operational efficiency. He outlined a four-pillar approach:
Intelligent agent careContext-based decision-makingSemi-autonomous interactionOngoing tuningWhen you’re new to using AI in your MSP, start by solving one pain point at a time. That way, you can learn how it can help you and develop a cohesive process for your business.
Some areas where AI can help include identifying clients at risk, technician coaching and ticketing. Damo also demonstrated an ‘AI command centre’ which pulled together data from a range of tools to give a single pane of glass overview.
Mark Copeman, owner of Wingman MSP Marketing, took to the stage to talk about the pros and cons of using AI in business. He gave a demonstration of where AI failed when tasked with writing a cold email, using this as an example of why you still have to review and update its output.
As Mark says, “AI isn’t a replacement for human connection; it’s a tool to enhance it.” In that light, he cautioned against an overreliance on AI and instead use it for help – with ideas, content suggestions and structure of blogs and other online comms.
Where AI comes into its own is in content repurposing, because it’s great at summarising posts, as well as editing audio and video to create snippets. But anything it produces always needs to be reviewed to ensure the right tone of voice to fit your brand. It can’t do empathy, context or client understanding.
Panel Session: The MSP EvolutionThis panel addressed the question of how managed service providers are evolving to meet the changing demands of clients and the IT landscape. The speakers agreed that the MSPs who are most likely to succeed are changing their mindset to one of business outcomes, because clients don’t want servers; they want solutions that fuel growth.
They also felt that a good way to differentiate and stand out is through exceptional customer service. Your MSP clients are used to easy-to-use apps in their day-to-day lives, and expect the same from their IT partner. Alongside that, offer them recurring services to increase the predictable income in your business.
And despite the popularity of AI, the panellists sounded a note of caution around the human touch. Yes, AI can help with automation and efficiency, but your clients want to know that there’s a person behind the services. Another way to do that is through strategic partnerships and showing a real understanding of your clients’ goals.
Panel Session: Driving Excellence
How can SMBs make excellence a priority across the board? The panellists for this session offered strategies from their own experiences on how to drive growth and success while ensuring resilience, a strong company culture and an empowered, committed team.
Indeed, the main focus was on the people, with the advice to support employees, to clearly set expectations with them, to give them autonomy and accountability, rather than assigning blame when things go wrong. Wherever possible, align tasks to the company’s core values, too.
With recruitment and retention of tech talent still being an issue for businesses, the panellists agreed that the finding and onboarding the right people was essential to an organisation’s success. Technology should be used to support teams and processes, rather than the other way around.
Adam Morris: MSP FinancialsAre you clear about your MSP’s financial situation? Adam Morris, co-founder of the MSP Finance Team, told the audience that many owners avoid the topic, leading to them undercharging for their services and overworking themselves as a result.
The answer? Practical financial modelling. Onstage, Adam was able to demonstrate how even a small price increase can make a difference. He showed that a 10% rise can lead to a 33% profit boost. But offering a discount of 10% could mean 50% more volume just to break even.
You don’t have to hit burnout, you just need to know your financials, Adam says. Be clear on your gross margins per engineer and product and build a premium value proposition that aligns with your ideal client. As with previous speakers, Adam also emphasised focusing on the client’s business outcomes rather than just offering tech support.
Travelogue: SuperOps SuperSummit 2025
At the end of the event, Pascal Fintoni and I spoke to Team Tubb Ops Manager, Lenka Koppova. We recorded a Travelogue podcast episode, sharing just some of our highlights from an amazing day.
We were also joined by a special guest, Kimmah Lewis, the CMO at SuperOps, who shared how she and her team put together the event.

Time for another Team Tubb Travelogue! This time, Lenka Koppova catches up withRichard Tubb and Pascal Fintoni, who are in Manchester for the SuperOps SuperSummit 2025. They were both presenting as well as attending the event, so they had lots to share.
Grab a cup of your favourite tea or coffee, relax and join them for a fun conversation about the highlights from this big event.
Pascal explains how the talks followed the journey a customer might take, from marketing through to sending a proposal, which was a really effective way to showcase how AI can help at each stage.
Richard highlighted a talk from the VP of Product, Damo Vasudevan, on using AI assisted dashboards and for automation to improve service delivery.
They were also joined by special guest Kimmah Lewis, who explained how she and her team put the event together and how much work goes into planning the day.

A member of TeamTubb calls Richard for an on-the-ground update on what they’ve learned and their highlights from the day.
Listen to the Travelogue from the SuperOps SuperSummitWhat to Know About the SuperOps SuperSummitSuperSummit is the flagship event from PSA-RMM experts SuperOps. They host these virtually and in-person, and 2025 is the first time they held an event in Manchester.
The free, one-day event is open to all managed service provider (MSP) owners and IT professionals, and provides plenty of networking opportunities, exhibitor stands and talks from industry legends. Lunch, refreshments and an after-party were also supplied!
This year’s focus was on AI and how to use it to grow and scale your MSP business. There were dos and don’ts, trends to be aware of and practical advice on how to get started with AI. And as it was strictly a no-pitch space, attendees got plenty of value without the waffle.

Wired for Connection 2: Tips and Advice from a Trailblazing Woman in Tech
Amanda Stewart is the managing director and CTO of Illuminate, an Edinburgh based MSP with a big heart and even bigger mission.
Amanda is also a trailblazer in encouraging young women into tech and she recently became chair of the Advancing Women in IT group of GTIA.
An Interview With Amanda StewartThe Importance of Female Role Models in TechWhile there are more women in the tech industry now, Amanda still feels that girls, especially in the UK, don’t realise that this is an area they can work in. There’s a lack of female role models, she says, to show them what it could be like in the IT sector.
“And you can’t be what you can’t see. So I think it’s important that we get people into schools where you can tell girls about they opportunities that are available to them. And they can work in the tech space without doing a technical role.
“So organisations need to put people first to get young women through the door. The younger generation want to work in companies where the managers care about their staff, health and wellbeing and the environment. And it’s especially important to women, because they feel comfortable.”
A Business Success and a Business ChallengeLenka and Vera asked Amanda to share examples of highs and lows in her career, and she opted to start with a positive one first: “Estelle Johannes at GTIA (formerly CompTIA) has always been so supportive of me and my business.
“She encouraged me to speak on stage, even though I didn’t want to. I spoke about how to advance women in tech, and while I didn’t enjoy the experience, I got fantastic feedback afterwards.” Amanda then shared a low point:
“I’m in a peer group of fellow MSPs, and several of the members took the time to point out where my business was going wrong. It was hard to hear after being my own boss for so long, but they supported me to fix the problem and how to manage the business in future.”
Tips for Managing StressAmanda admits that she hasn’t always been great at managing stress, although she’s improved as she’s got older. But as a new business owner and mum to two small children, it was very hard to do.
“When you’re in that situation you don’t have a choice. You’ve just got to get on with it. But because I was just going day by day, I wasn’t thinking about the trajectory of the business. I had no growth plans.
“And of course, I stored up years’ worth of stress that eventually all just came out at once. So that’s taught me that I need to take time off and time away from the business. I bake bread, or I do some art. It quiets my mind. And I trust the peer groups I’m in to give me help and support as well. Everyone shares their tips with each other”
Why Women Struggle to Value Their Own ExperienceThere’s a big difference in how women approach new situations compared to their male peers. Women often don’t value their skills and experiences, while men are comfortable with sharing their successes.
This is especially the case in the IT sector. Amanda says: “I’ve probably been in the industry longer than most people in my peer group, and yet I still get imposter syndrome and think I don’t know as much about a topic as I should.”
Amanda also shares the challenges of being menopausal or perimenopausal. It’s important that women are able to talk openly and comfortably about it in the office, and for managers to work with them to find ways to manage it. Amanda takes a team member with her to meetings to remind her of what to talk about.
The Best and Worst Parts of Working in ITWhat Amanda loves about being in the IT space is that there’s always something new coming out. “Other industries have to do CPD annually, but we get things thrown at us every single day. It’s a fast-paced industry and it’s exciting. And we get to help people, which I love.”
Of course, there are still things about the industry that Amanda would like to change. And that is simply to get more women into the industry. “I interview a lot of teenage girls to find out what they know about STEM and IT, and they don’t know anything.
“It’s a depressing conversation to have. STEM subjects aren’t taught to them in an exciting way, so they don’t consider it as an option. And we know that there’s a huge gender bias globally, so we need to make our voices heard in order to eliminate it.”
How to get Younger Children Interested in TechThe good news is, we can encourage children into tech at a young age. There are books such as the Rebel Girls series that shares the stories of famous women in all industries, including STEM. Amanda adds:
“Parents can talk about tech so they understand it. We go into to schools with old kit and let the kids take it all apart. I make sure that the girls get to do it too. They get excited because it’s hands-on and a bit different.
“And you’d be surprised by how many schools want the input from our industry. They want us to show the kids what the future could look like for them. We talk about apprenticeships, the money they can make and the opportunities to travel once they’re a bit older, too.”

Future-Proofing Your MSP with Smarter Sales Strategies
I’ve been thinking lately about what really moves the needle for MSPs—shiny new features, powerful books, honest conversations, or maybe just the right event at the right time?
As ever, the real value comes from a mix of it all—tools, mindset, community, and a willingness to learn and share.
This week’s Tubbservatory brings together a blend of all these things: A sneak peek into the future of MSP platforms, a sales truth-bomb you need to hear, a movement to support mentoring in our industry, a productivity reset for those feeling burnt out, and an unmissable event that’s just around the corner.
I’m thrilled to share these five fresh resources to help you work smarter, sell better, and grow stronger in 2025.
1. SuperOps Sneak Peek for 2025The team at SuperOps has revealed a host of new features that aim to supercharge your MSP operations in the year ahead.

2. Sales Wisdom from Juan Fernandez“Your Questions Are Horrible!”
That headline isn’t clickbait—Juan really says it, and he’s not wrong!
In a cracking episode of the Harvest MSP Sales Show, James Steel is joined by Juan Fernandez (SuperOps) to dissect why most MSPs are struggling with sales. Juan’s message? Stop pitching. Start solving.
This one’s for you if you’ve ever faced price objections, low close rates, or felt like sales just isn’t your thing. Trust me—you’ll come away with a whole new mindset.
Check out the conversation here.
3. Time for Mentoring in ITMSP legend Karl Palachuk is starting something important—a Reddit community focused on IT mentoring.
It’s about experienced pros supporting newcomers, sharing career guidance, and helping the next generation thrive in tech. Whether you’re looking for a mentor or ready to be one, this is a great place to connect and give back to the industry.
Tubbservatory: The 2 May 2025 Weekly Video4. The Productivity Diet – A Smarter Way to WorkIf you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by “doing more,” The Productivity Diet by Mike Vardy will be a breath of fresh air.
Rather than chasing endless tasks, Vardy advocates for sustainable productivity—focusing on quality, not just quantity. I’ve just started reading it, and it’s already reshaping how I think about my workday.
5. Master AI at SupperSummit in ManchesterThere’s nothing quite like in-person events for sparking new ideas—and SuperSummit Manchester is shaping up to be a belter.
Organised by SuperOps, this event is all about peer networking, real-world advice, and zero vendor pitching. If you’re anywhere near Manchester on 6th May, don’t miss it!

Tubbservatory: The April 2025 Round-Up Video
Tubbservatory Round-Up #40: April – Week 1#1 Redstor’s Entra ID Backup Isn’t Just Backup; It’s Resilience RedefinedWith Entra ID, formerly known as Azure Active Directory, proving a popular choice for MSPs, we kick off this week by highlighting a powerful platform for protecting your Entra ID clients.
Redstor’s Entra ID Backup isn’t just backup; it’s resilience.
By capturing and securing every critical Entra ID element – user configurations, attributes, roles, and relationships – Redstor ensures that businesses can quickly and easily recover from any disruption.
#2 GTIA ResourcesGTIA have released their State of the Channel 2025 report, and it reveals some interesting statistics.
53% of MSPs say they expect significant AI-growth related revenue in 2025, with 30% saying they are ahead of their business plans this year.
But workforce skills challenges persist, four in 10 channel firms say they are struggling to find and compete for workers with the right skills.
The GTIA State of the Channel report is a free download, and well worth reading.
#3 Service Management and AutomationA podcast that caught my ear is Evolved Radio hosted by Todd Kane, with guest Gerwai Todd of TimeZest and PIA.
Kane and Todd delve into the transformative role of AI technology in ticket management, highlighting its ability to automate and streamline service desk operations.
This is well worth a listen.
#4 Recommended Books for MSPsA book I find myself recommending a lot is Team: Getting Things Done with Others, by David Allen and Edward Lamont.
This is a groundbreaking book about how to harness the power of collaboration and work most effectively in groups, and I’d recommend it to all MSP businesses.
#5 Huntress RoadshowEuropean MSPs, by popular demand, the Huntress EMEA roadshow rolls at the world famous Carlsberg Brewery in Copenhagen, Denmark on 10th April 2025, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands on 20th May 2025.
This is a great opportunity to meet the cybersecurity experts from Huntress, discuss threat protection with your fellow MSPs, and have a beer, too.
Registration is now open. Cheers!
Big news this week as Hornetsecurity announce their acquisition of Altospam, a leading French email security prover. This will enable Hornetsecurity to further extend its position as a European cybersecurity champion.
With Hornetsecurity providing a comprehensive suite of solutions for Microsoft 365 via one convenient platform, Altospam will be the perfect complement, bringing their expertise to email cybersecurity solutions through their solutions for securing professional emails.
#2 How to Become a Key Person of InfluenceOver on TubbTalk, we’ve just published an interview with author and entrepreneur Daniel Priestley. This episode is jam-packed with value and I really enjoyed working on it.
Daniel explained his process for becoming oversubscribed as an MSP. How do you do that? By increasing demand so it exceeds supply. That way you have people queuing up to work with you.
He also talked about becoming a key person of influence in your industry. You need to reach as many people as possible as quickly as possible, so you need to use social media to leverage your personal brand.
Have a listen now to hear more of Daniel’s advice for MSPs!
#3 UK Threatens £100K-a-Day Fines Under New Cyber BillFriend of Tubblog and owner of Bondgate IT, Damien Harrison, shared this article from The Register at the end of last week.
It reports on the latest developments on the UK government’s Cyber Security and Resilience (CSR) Bill, which is expected to enter Parliament later this year.
The technology secretary shared what the bill sets out, including daily fines of £100,000 for failing to act against specific threats under consideration.
This would apply if an MSP failed to patch against a widely exploited vulnerability within a time frame specified by a government order, and was then hit by attacks, so it’s essential to be aware of the new requirements.
#4 Microsoft at 50: Enterprise IT for the MassesVideo of the week, and well worth 15 seconds of your time is former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer repeatedly chanting ‘developers’ at an event in 1999
But what’s more interesting is the story around the video, because a Computer Weekly magazine reports, Microsoft is 50 this year. It’s quite remarkable to reflect on the changes in personal computing since 1975.
And the company isn’t resting on its laurels – Microsoft 11 will launch in October, and the current CEO has big plans for it to become a leading AI business. And people are interested to see how they revolutionise LinkedIn, which it bought in 2016.
So even if your MSP doesn’t use Microsoft, it’s definitely one to keep an eye on for the next 50 years.
#5 The Best LinkedIn-focused Conference in the UKLet’s talk about events. You might have seen online that Richard was at UpLift Live in March, the UK’s only conference that focuses solely on LinkedIn.
Now, if you’re thinking, “Yeah, but I’m an MSP. Why should I bother with a marketing event?” then I think you’ve just answered your own question!
You’ve just heard that Daniel Priestley recommends using social media to build your personal brand, and if you want to grow your MSP then unfortunately you really do have to market yourself.
And you don’t have to do much to start to see results. While LinkedIn has one billion – yes, one BILLION – members, only 1% of users post weekly. And those users generate 9 billion impressions per week.
So, do you think you could manage 4 posts per month? And if you’re stuck for ideas, then UpLift Live 2026 might be the place for you!
With recruitment being front of mind for many MSPs in 2025, have you considered the hidden cost of hiring?
As well as the salary for a new member of staff, MSPs need to consider insurance, holiday, sick-pay, learning and development costs, and much more.
If you find that all a bit overwhelming, then I’d highly recommend taking a look at Uptime’s latest eBook on staff augmentation.
This eBook contains some great ideas on how your MSP might reduce your recruitment headaches.
#2 Soft Skills for Engineers & IT Support TechniciansIf you’re looking to give your service desk a boost, then you may want to check out “Helpdesk Habits: Soft Skills for Engineers & IT Support Technicians”.
The course is hosted by MSP expert Mark Copeman, and is a customer service training program and certification, specifically developed for solo IT pros, MSPs and corporate service desks.
It’s perfect for onboarding recruits or transforming teams with room for improvement.
#3 How to Build a Powerful Networking Learning LabAnd talking of learning, a video that caught my eye is the awesome Tom Lawrance sharing “How to Build A Powerful Networking Learning Lab”. From VLAN’s to emulating client networks, this video is a powerful guide!
#4 Recommended Books for MSPsIf you’re feeling a little bit frazzled with business and life, then a book I’d highly recommend is “Struggle: The Surprising Truth, Beauty and Opportunity Hidden in Life’s Sh*ttier Moments”.
In this book, author Grace Marshall, a renowned productivity expert, takes us beyond getting stuff done to helpful advice on dealing with the ups and downs of life.
#5 Beyond Amsterdam 2025Mark 5-7th October 2025 in your calendar, as Pax8 Beyond EMEA 2025 comes to Amsterdam in the Netherlands! Last year’s Pax8 Beyond EMEA was one of, if not the best, MSP event I’ve personally attended, so I can’t recommend this years event highly enough.
The word is already out, with 50% of tickets already being legitimately sold, so don’t hesitate — buy your ticket now, and I’ll see you in Amsterdam!
We kick off this week with the much-anticipated Huntress 2025 Cyber Threat Report.
Huntress’ industry-leading Security Operation Centre (SOC) sees all manner of activity from cybercriminals, and this report shines a light on what MSPs need to know to protect their clients this year.
Two headlines from the report that caught my eye:-
Infostealers thrived, accounting for a staggering 24% of incidents. Right behind them were malicious scripts at 22%, mainly due to their ability to dodge detection and automate attacks.
And secondly, healthcare and education are preferred targets, with tech, manufacturing, and government not far behind.
But that’s only the beginning. I’d encourage you to download the “2025 Cyber Threat Report” now — it’s a free download — and arm yourself with the knowledge to defend against whatever 2025 throws your way.
And talking of reports, if you’ve ever wondered how your MSP compares to other MSPs in the market, now’s your chance.
SuperOps have launched the 2025 MSP Growth Blueprint, a survey offering data-driven strategies for success.
Complete the survey, and assess your MSP’s potential for 2025 and compare your growth with industry peers.
#3 The Ultimate MSP Growth GuideA resource I’ve been really impressed with is The MSP Buyer’s Guide from MSP coaching experts Ian Luckett & Stuart Warwick of the MSP Growth Hub.
Running an MSP isn’t just about providing IT support—it’s about scaling strategically, making the right investments, and building a business that works for you.
This guide provides all manner of strategies and advice, and it’s hard to believe Ian and Stuart are giving it away for free. Thanks chaps!
#4 MSP Influencer Podcast by Joey PinzNow, a podcast that caught my ear is the MSP Influencer Show from Joey Pinz.
