Procrastination Kills.
Don't you hate it when you have important shit to do, but you constantly put it off for things that may be fun time killers but just aren't beneficial?
Don't get me wrong, video games and tv have a special place in my heart. Lately I've been playing the shit out of Mortal Kombat. Fucking Shang Tsung is my anathema and I'm awesome with Freddy Krueger and Jax. Anyhoo... I was off yesterday, nothing to do at all but write, read, watch tv, and play video games. Can you guess which ones I picked? I was playing Mortal Kombat and watching Investigation Discovery like it was going out of style. I'm ashamed.
Today is a new day, however. Instead of beating myself up for my weak will I'll put this damn pen to paper and write something that I can be proud of.

The Winter Soldier was awesome!
I went to see the new Captain America movie the first opportunity I got and it delivered and more. I can say with absolute certainty that it is the best of the Marvel movies outside of The Avengers.
First things first, I want to say how awesome the antagonist is in this movie. The Winter Soldier is relentless and has some awesome action set pieces. If he isn't in the 3rd Captain America movie I'm not watching it. Okay, that's a lie, but I would be very disappointed.
The Captain kicks much ass. Early in the movie he infiltrates a hijacked ship to rescue a group of hostages and he mows through the hijacking bastards like a scythe through a field of wheat.
Their is an awesome twist deep into the movie that turns the Marvel universe on its ear. I'm talking serious ramifications for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and every Avenger movie going forward.
The Black Widow is wonderful and Anthony Mackie's Falcon is a great addition to the saga. They really shine in the big battle at the end of the movie.
See this movie if you're into superhero movies or spy thrillers. Marvel really did there thing with this one. In my eyes it's just short of classic.
I'm giving it a 4.5 out of 5.

I just saw Need For Speed
I just had my first experience at AMC's Dine In Theatre. It was very nice. The seats are leather and extremely comfortable. The appetizer sampler was the bomb, but my main course of sirloin steak tips tasted like dog food. Ah well, you can't win all the time.
Need For Speed is awesome. The action scenes are amazing and Jesse Pinkman (I can never remember his real name) did some great acting. He's one of the best in the biz at looking pissed off and/or distraught. The antagonist was a complete douche and made me hate his guts, so mission accomplished there. This movie and others like the Fast and the Furious franchise makes me wish that I was a badass that races million dollar cars with racing gloves on instead of a four eyed writer. Thank goodness I have Jesse Pinkman and Kid Cudi to live vicariously through.
