What a sci-fi/fantasy nerd looks forward to on the small and big box!
One of the things that I love more than anything is watching a good movie or TV series, especially if it is sci fi/fantasy. So I thought I would share some of the upcoming movies/series that I will definitely be taking a look at in 2014, and this is far from the end of that list. In no particular order:
Helix (Series)A team of scientists who are stranded in a deadly Arctic base and must survive a horrific “evolving virus” that threatens to...

Promo - Indie Author Debut: R is for Raunchy, but it's also for Rivi Jacks
The Kihn, volume one of the Sweetwater series is the debut novel of indie author Rivi Jacks (R). R lives in a small town--not unlike her fictional town of Sweetwater--in the Ozarks of Southern Missouri where she chases after her chickens and cats. A Twist of Fate is the first book of the Lexi series by self-published author Tina Gephart. Tired of not being able to identify with the current leading ladies portrayed in the fiction she was reading, she set out to create a story with a strong, independent and confident young woman.
A Twist of Fate has had enormous success in Australia in its short time being online. It peaked at number 1 on the Romance list on iBooks (free) on September 20th with my follow up book ...

Recommended Book 1 - J. R. Ward
Lover Eternal (book 2 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood) was the first book I ever read from J.R.Ward, and from the start her unique and intriguing writing style delved you into her dark and sensual world of vampires. If I could describe her main character, then I would compare Rhage to Gena Showalter’s character Paris in her Lords of Underworld series. Both known as the promiscuous lovers of their groups and both making the reader want them to find that perfect partner that wo...
My Writing Journey Part 1 – The Urge
When someone would ask me whether I have always wanted to be a writer, they would be surprised by my answer when I said no. Being a writer was one of the last things I ever thought of doing. But deciding on what I wanted to be was always changing.
When I was 3, I wanted to be a boy…not a tomboy, I wanted to be a real boy. The amount of times my poor mother had to struggle to get me in a dress was a tiresom...
