The Mustache He’s Always Wanted but Could Never Grow
Originally, I decided to review this anthology work by work, which seemed like a good idea at the time. Halfway there I realized that some of the stories were simply too short to merit a good review and I would be doing both the reader and the writer a disservice by continuing. Nevertheless, you can read some very specific reviews of around half the stories, maybe less, in the book, below.
As you have probably already gathered, this is a book of short stories. It is a Fiction offering by Mr. B...

Yawatta Hosby – Interview
So first thing is first, congratulations on finishing your novel! Daunting task and all. So let me ask, first of all, what did you think of my assessment of your book? I noticed you were really polite and you also said that it is interesting to see what readers get out of it, so tell me, did I get it?
Thank you, L.M. I thought your assessment was pretty spot on. I like that you understood there was psychological drama in play. I respect your feelings about my characters. They were young and im...

Five Years Four Star Review
Five Years got a four star review from the lovely Yawatta Hosby. If you like thrillers and mystery novels, you should go read her book One by One, available in both print and digital format.
I’m really happy anyone ever gives my book a chance and always bouncing off the walls happy when they actually liked it. She seemed to really get what I was going for with the story, which I was really pleased by. If you are still not convinced, you should go read her review.

One by One by Yawatta Hosby
(but you can read safely until the cut-off point)
One by One is the debut novel of the super lovely Yawatta Hosby, whose awesome blog you can read here. Let me start by saying that the author provided a free copy to me for review purposes.
I will let the blurb speak for itself:
Alone in the woods, thirty miles from civilization with no cell phone reception, the weekend turns into a deadly game when a killer hunts Rae and her friends. They struggle to stay a...

Initiated To Kill – Sharlene Almond
Sharlene Almond provided a copy of her book for review. Let me start by saying this: I am not a fan of Dan Brown, and this book was very similar to his work, in that it touched in a lot of symbolism and a lot of connections which were made throughout the book and ultimately affected the story.
The bad: The book was hard to follow and at times felt like it slogged. It could have done with probably around a hundred less pages. I understand that the author wanted to provide a lot of background, b...
