Promoting Hope through our Surrogacy Story
Hi all! Honestly this is my first blog post ever and it's odd how daunting it can be to just type words and put them on here.
Our book opens in the Preface by divulging that we never really aspired to be writers but were tapped to share our rocky journey re-telling the two and a half year process of bringing home the Bowen Twins through the miracle of IVF and the gift of Surrogacy.
Our book is not a "how to" but a re-telling of the same timeframe told from the vantage point of the Intended Mother and her Surrogate.
Anytime either of us re-told the events we were met with such a sincere organic interest that it prompted us to put our experience on paper for others to share and the reviews from all who've read our book have been humbling. To hear strangers tell us that they read our book from cover to cover, that they laughed, they cried and then cried again, that they did not want the story to end. It truly has been rewarding hearing the reviews! I'm looking forward to bringing our experience to anyone else who may have the same enjoyment and possibly gain a better perspective to plow through their own plights !!
Maybe I should make that my Mission Statement--here and now--it is!
