Garnier BB Cream

Garnier BB Cream had fit into my daily routine to give a perfect looking skin without the hassles of make up. Here are the 2 incident's from my life, in which Garnier BB Cream had play a vital role.
In Trekking Events: I am a big trek freak and every weekend you can find me exploring new places with my trekking friends. Usually it is believed that, Girls can live without oxygen!. but without makeup!?
OMG!!! They die immediately. So, even when I go for a trekking, I go with full make-up. But my fellow- trek mates pass comments and shoot me with bundle of questions like “Whether I come for trekking or for beauty contest”

So on the following week, I went without make up. Just went with my natural look. To my dis-appointment, my fellow trekkers could not recognise me :( Infact, they started running away thinking a ghost appeared.

I was so Upset that, both the ways I was not appreciated. Then, One fine day, I saw the Garnier BB Cream ad in youtube and I bought it immediately. For the next trekking, I just applied the cream and It helped me to get an instant beauty and to my surprise the cream had spread evenly with a flawless finish. All my co-trekkers were amazed by my beauty. None of the people could recognize that I used some cream.

One of my friend said, "We go trekking to explore the nature. Here is a natural beauty standing right in front of us"  I just smiled and said thanks to Garnier in my mind.

     2. In My Marriage:

Karthick was so tensed as his mother has seen a girl(Swetha) for his marriage. On seeing his tensed face, Karthick friends asks the reasons.
Karthick replies, "How can I decide my better half in a meeting of just 1 hour?"
His friends advice that its possible and suggest him a idea, "As soon as you meet her, check for her hand bag. If the hand bag is full of cosmetics. Man, our entire hard-earnings will go for her cosmetics alone. Just excuse yourself and ran away from her"

Swetha Room:

Swetha on the other hand is tensed, as she is some how aware of the guys vision on choosing the life partner. On seeing her tensed her friends asks the reasons.
She says, "How can I meet him without make up? I cant see myself on mirror without makeup"
Suddenly her friends gives her Garnier BB Cream and she keeps it inside her pocket and applies it before meeting Karthick.
Karthick was impressed by the natural beauty (Beauty due to Garnier Cream!?) of Swetha and they liked each other and marriage was fixed.

Garnier Cream | Fit into daily routine to perfect looking skin

Switch to the Garnier BB Cream - The miracle Skin perfector
Long ago Sage Vishwamitra, was performing a very difficult Tapas (deep meditation). Indra, the king of gods, was fearful that if Vishwamitra completes the tapasya successful, Vishwamitra may become very powerful. So Indra decided to break his meditation by sending Menaka who is one of the most beautiful dancer of the heavenly Apsaras. By the order of Indra, Menaka went to the forest in search of Sage Vishwamitra. She found Vishwamitra sitting under a tree with his eyes closed and in deep meditation.  She started singing to attract his attention, but it did not disturb his meditation. She then started to dance with all her effects. But to her bad luck, it did not disturb his meditation. She made a very fragmented garland and wrapped them around Vishwamitra's neck. Still Vishwamitra was not disturbed.

A random thought flashed her mind and immediately she went into action. She applied heavy makeup by applying a coat of foundation and dabbing cream blushes on her cheeks. She decorated her eye by spreading dark eye shadow onto her eyelid and curled the eyelashes with an eyelash curler for almost 1 hour. Then she coated her lips with a dark red lipstick. Vishwamitra opened his eyes, looked at Menaka and again went back to meditation.

Menaka was upset. She went back to Lord Indra saying that the only thing which can disturb Vishwamitra meditation is her beauty and hence she requested Indra to get her the best beauty cream in the universe.

Indra sent all the people to search for the best beauty cream all around the world and it took almost a year for them to return back with the best creams. Menaka tried these things and went back to vishwamitra in a hope that this would definitely disturb his mediation. But Vishwamitra has still not opened his eyes. She was very upset that Viswamitra has not even seen her face and was much annoyed. She just went back to Indra with all her frustration. She threw all the beauty equipment’s and demanding something which was very unique and could go mind blowing.

Now Indra himself got into the business of searching the best in the universe. He did a wide research and was able to find out the ingredients which could make that cream. And when he used his vision to find out the cream which contains the ingredients, Eureka it was “Garnier”. They named it “Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream” and Menake applied it on her face. Like a miracle it removed her skin discoloration, dullness and dryness and gave her an elegant and natural look. She went back to Vishwamitra and he was disturbed by the amusing smell of the Garnier cream and opened his eyes and the meditation was broken. He was so dumbfounded to see the natural beauty of Menaka. He craved to marry her. They got married and lived happily.

A healthy child makes a happy home.

A healthy child makes a happy home.
This post is written as an entry for Indi-Happy Hours Campaign, -  "A Healthy Child Makes A Happy Home” in association with Dabur Chyawanprash and Indiblogger.in

Whatever the children’s does, it has an impact on parents and the family members. if they achieve something, the family members are taken to the land of happiness. if they fall sick, the parents ends up in the land of depression. I still remember the day; my sister who is very bold, brave girl broke out and cried like a hell, when her son fall sick. The hospital atmosphere made my sister's son "Sanju" so much stressed. The crowd, the medicine smell in the hospital put him down.  On seeing him, crying my sister started crying. I still remember the counselling we gave for my sister and consoled her not to cry. When Childerns are sick, the parents needs motivating and encouring words. They need a person support, who says the child will be alright soon. But none of the words, could console her. After 3 days, my sister son was back to normal and started playing. All of a sudden my sister started feeling energized. I also understood at that point of time, for a parents in order to come out of pain, anxiety and illness their child smile is the meidcine. Right after that incident, I strongly believe, children's health problem affects parents physical health as well as the mental health of a parents. Also, recent studies proved that a child health problems may have a swelling effect throughout the family.

I read somewhere, "Women are often torn between our intuition and the societal messages we receive about how to care for our children." There are 100 tips which Google suggest for a Healthy Kid. Some links suggest, Oil bath is good, where as other links, suggest Oil bath is dangerous. Finally, it makes a person confused. Below are the five tips, to be followed everyday for the welfare of a kid.

5 TIPS for Child Health Life
Get Physical activity each day:Join them any classes which keeps them fit. Join them a Swimming class/Skating class.
Switch off the screen and get activeI find my sister son spending too much in Pogo channel and in Note playing games. Snatch both from them and make them to play out door activities.
Eat fewer snacks and select healthier alternativesMy Sister's son is fond of Lays, chips, cakes, buisctis and chocolate which is very dangerous for children. It can put excess weight too. Replace the snacks with Healthy fruits and vegetables.
Give them 1 teaspoonful of Dabur Chyawanprash twice every day.
Dabur Chyawanprash has a number of herbs like – Amla, Giloy.. etc which helps to boost immunity. Dabur Chyawanprash increases NK cells (Natural Killer Cells) which are an essential part of our body’s immune system and fights germs, bacteria and infections by 3 times hence increasing our immunity by 3 times.

Make a Habit to drink 3000ML of water everyday:

It is so important as a parents to stop, take action and make a conscious decision to follow a healthy lifestyle for childrens.

DIWALI - A TIME FOR FAMILY!

Diwali, it’s the most important festival for my family. My Diwali celebration starts well before a month. During the Month of August, all Shopping stores in my home, announce discount. We family of 4 people, wake up early, have a light breakfast and rush to the shopping store. We shop, shop, shop for entire day. We shop for my family, my grandparents and all my relatives. Our shopping does not end with Dress purchase alone. My dad gifts us with Jewles as well.

Before the day of the festival, we clean everything in the house. and draw a big traditional Rangoli designs. Myself and my sister, color the Rangoli designs with colors.

On the day of Diwali, we start with doing a series of pooja for Goddess Lakshmi and get blessing from my grandparents and my lovable parents.

When I was a kid, I used to sit in one of my dad's lap and my sister on the other side and we enjoy watching the Diwali television programs and munching the sweets prepared by my mom. Thats the best moment till date. I regret for growing big :(

After that, we invite our friends for a small Diwali party and all my relatives come over for a get together. All the children's join together and burst crackers.

We lived in a big colony and the entire people in the colony will be in festive mood and those people add light to the air and cheers the atmosphere and makes the environment happy.

This year Diwali was more special to me. I bought a traditional Red color lehenga, crackers for my sister's son. Eagerly waiting for Diwali.

Beyond Boundaries with Author Mehek Bassi

This post is a part of “Beyond Boundaries” at BlogAdda.com in association with INK 2014.
As a part of Blogadda' Beyond Boundaries contest, I interacted with an Author, Blogger, Philanthropist, Relationship Adviser and Nail Artist "Mehek Bassi" who Lives in Ludhiana, Punjab, India.

1. How the world has changed with people getting to know different cultures from different countries?

World has undoubtedly changed a lot, as we all have majorly adopted western culture in our dressing. Now we are aware of our rights, we get inspired from movements taking place abroad, we get to know about the norms followed in different cultures, the right and the wrong things. We get to fight against injustice on a global level, which was a tough job earlier.

2. Share a historical perspective about how travellers like Vasco da Gama, Hieun Tsang used to explore new places and facilitated exchange of cultures and what is the present scenario.?

Travellers like Vasco da Gama or Hieun Tsang majorly focused on finances and improving trade and business. The scenario is pretty much the same today as mostly people move from one nation to another for jobs or setting up business. Exploration lead to improved financial conditions and flow of money, which lead to establishment of one global criteria on which we measure a country’s economy, what we call – US Dollar now. Presently, the world is connected via internet, and everyday business deals occur, e-commerce websites make millions of dollars each day by selling and buying products online. What happened manually earlier, is happening technically now. Better thing is, that we all are Vasco-da-Gamas’ of our generation! We all explore internet everyday and find something new worth sharing with the world…

3. Blog about examples of how people are collaborating with people from different places and building amazing products and services.

People around world are different and so is their demand. Thus, the supply has to be adequate in order to cater to the needs of millions. The Asian market is certainly different from the American one and so the American app developers need to contact someone from Asia in order to understand their requirements. Example – if an e-commerce website has to sell socks, it has to make larger sizes for American or African people, while they will be too-large for Asians considering the average foot size of the people there, so they need to reduce their sizes. This way, global collaboration is a necessity in order to set up a business in the global market!

4. How has technology and blogging helped people explore and meet new people beyond boundaries and learn new things in the process.

Technology lead to blogging and blogging helped us all have a glance into someone else’s house. We can call it a friendly glance, which helped us know about their culture, their festivals, their clothing, their food, and the things which were otherwise limited to a group of people. This way, we could learn a lot from each other. Example - Indian homeopathic and ayurvedic treatments and home remedies were unknown to entire world earlier, but now, anyone can surf YouTube and get to know about the free remedies available for different problems! It has revolutionized both medicine and commerce on a large scale.

5. How you blog and perception of blogging in your respective countries.

I have a website – www.mehek.in – on which I post short stories. Some fictional and some non-fictional. In my country, blogging is the most popular method to share your views about anything and everything. It’s like everyone owning a personal channel! College students are advised to upload the information about their live projects on their respective blogs. Blogging acted as a revolution, especially for students who not only shared information, but also rose against injustice a lot of times just by writing an article. That is the power of words!

Beyond Boundaries with Ashay Shah

This post is a part of “Beyond Boundaries” at BlogAdda.com in association with INK 2014.

As a part of BlogAdda's Beyond Boundaries Competition, I got an opportunity to collaborate with a Blogger Ashay who is residing Hyderabad, Andra Pradesh.

How the world has changed with people getting to know different cultures from different countries.?

First of all, its the outlook of people that has changed after knowing different cultures. Matured minds have developed and they strive to get rid of racism from others. Traditional way of living of different cultures are exposed and people are getting more open towards else's culture. This has also led to people migration in seeking more business, tourism and ways to cross culture studies. Business is the one that has profited more in this, you name it and its earning at this very moment too. Say food, clothing, standard of living, film, electronics, support service, military techniques, advanced technology, fashion etc.
So this hasn't changed the world as world will be changed when you start practicing positive sayings of every culture so as to u and conserve nature irrespective of your profit, I can say cultural exchange has been beneficial. Sadly, it has lead to disease outbreaks and increase in mortality and cold war. When you start comparing cultures, we get gifts like - World War 1 & 2

Share a historical perspective about how travelers like Vasco da Gama, Hieun Tsang used to explore new places and facilitated exchange of cultures and what is the present scenario.?
Earlier explorations by travellers had travelled for only for 3 reasons - Trade, Slavery & Acquisition. Cultural exchange took place since then and also earlier time, however it didn't facilitate much as those were just a way to simplify living in a new place. E.g. - Persian king had to leave Persia and enter Gujarat through western border, for a very basic need of Man - Survival. The story is authentic and till date makes one thing clear that survival challenges can make you change the way you live and practice your own culture.

People are collaborating with people from different places and building amazing products and services.
Thats Business sector what we looking from cultural exchange. Its not wrong to make services available to other, but at what cost should also be thought. No Fort was built in day and no kingdom was conquered in an hour, hence earlier Kings used to put enormous efforts in understanding one's culture. Living example is Indian wherein Tuglaq's ruled Hindu lands and created a dynasty. It wasn't easy but trade was responsible for getting people understand each other. When ideas and thoughts are exchanged for betterment of mankind, that's the best gift of Cultural Exchange.

Beyond Boundaries With Dheepan

“No, as an artist, you have to be free to explore all the corners of your heart. There are no boundaries.” – Dierks Bentley

As a part of BlogAdda's Beyond Boundaries Competition, I got an opportunity to collaborate with a Blogger Dheepan who is residing at Boston, USA and pursuing his MBA at Babson college.
Here is his answer when I asked him, "How the world has changed with people getting to know different cultures from different countries"
Blogger Answer : Because of culture awareness, People are able to progress fast in both professional and business aspects. Eg: Most multinational companies is able to launch products or services tailored to a particular market without much difficulty.
Question: Share a historical perspective about how travelers like Vasco da Gama, Hieun Tsang used to explore new places and facilitated exchange of cultures and what is the present scenario.
Blogger Answer : Those people must be compared to the scientists these days who are exploring other planets such as Mars for human occupancy. It's very similar. I wouldn't say those explorations have stopped. Man has always wanted to cross frontiers and he will continue to do so.
Question: Blog about examples of how people are collaborating with people from different places and building amazing products and services.
Blogger Answer : People are able to do that because now there is a huge awareness of the success stories such as Apple and Microsoft . They want to replicate it .so they are going after this.

Question: How has technology and blogging helped people explore and meet new people beyond boundaries and learn new things in the process.
Blogger Answer :Technology such as Google Hangouts, Cisco Tele presence are able to facilitate collaboration across different customer segments.  Great ideas are born only through fusion of ideas and today's world is able to facilitate that better.

Thanks Dheepan for agreeing to the Interview.

Happy Birthday Sanju

Happy birthday Sanju                   The most important thing in a journey towards any destination is to take that "First Baby Step". Today I am an Author and it’s because of your birth. It was a moment of inspiration to share and it drove to write my first post...

All your first's are treasurable and enlivening moments. Right from your first cry which became the ringtone of entire family members -to-till-date-Each and every second around you has always been special and memorable (The first time I wrapped you around my arms, your first smile and my naughty acts in a sing-song pitch pattern to make you giggle...Your smile in your sleep....Your first roll over - Hah, You actually took little time in rolling over and I helped (or tortured!?) by pushing over to the side.. Your first tummy walk, first baby step) These are only few ...

Sanju..Your smile, tiny hand and leg movements make us go crazy...We used to long for your sweetie smile and raspberries blow..

And your first vaccination? I just ran out of doctor's room not being able to see the needle pricking your tiny hand... Your first tonsure?! You were very cool as MS Dhoni and did not cry. We managed by offering zandu balm and you got engrossed. But second time!? your little eyes sensed the knife and you cried like hell :(

Your mom was so strong and never shed tears. But when you got fever the first time, she called us  and burst out into tears. You have such an impact...

Sanju you are a teacher too,
You want us to entertain by putting the similar steps of "Vazha Meenu" song and we did not have courage to reject Sanju kutty wish. Outcome@!?, Your Thatta and patti used to imitate the steps of Gana Ulaganathan and thereby becoming a great dancers.

Singing lullaby to make you sleep and indeed we had a theme song for you and that’s Sutum Vizhi. Sleeping on the cradle you hum with us and when we stop singing thinking you doze off, your voice goes to  peak commanding us to sing non-stop.

Acting unwise in front of you and listening to your brilliant answers… pretending as if I don’t know Alphabets and numerics and learning it from you...losing to you in running and cricket made me realize that evan a loss can be sweeter if the winner is a child..
When I lost the gold ring on the beach and you, one of your slipper to the waves, myself and Ramya Akka decided not to inform parents about the loss of ring. But as soon as your dad stepped in, you felt sorry for losing the slipper and when your dad had forgiven you, you jumped with overjoy and said, “appa, i had only lost one slipper of a pair, chiti had lost the only ring she had” and embarrassed in front of everyone. That was innocence at its sweetest best.
And now, you play "Logo Quiz - Cars" game and approach me for guessing the car company name.   Googling all car logos and saving it to my gallery, I show-off as if “Chiti knows everything”. But for one logo, the answer was not available with the picture I had and while acting as if I was recollecting, you gave a shock by saying, “Chiti search in gooogle like earlier”.  Yeah, how did I forget that you are growing up...You care for your mom now, when she takes vomit and suggest her to eat horse gram Rasam….
Sanju, you are our love and light of our family..you showed me, where true happiness can be found and it comes from a child..
"Because time itself is like a spiral, something special happens on your birthday each year. The same energy that God invested in you at birth is present once again."~Menachem M Schneerson
Enjoy your Birthday...  Love you Always :)
