5-Stars from Reader’s Favorite for Treyah (An Origin Story)

5-Stars from Reader’s Favorite for Treyah (An Origin Story). Read the full review at ReadersFavorite.com: https://readersfavorite.com/book-review/treyah

Reviewed by Tammy Ruggles for Readers’ Favorite

Treyah: An Origin Story (0-2-10 Origins Book 2), by award-winning author Jarrod L. Edge, is a compelling Christian fantasy/sci-fi origin story of the 0-2-10 characters. This backstory will prep you for his book, Zero. In Treyah, we have the intriguing tale of the title character, a young boy wanting to recoup his losses. He’s caught between two worlds in the Chesarn Nebula, and one is on the verge of being attacked by war. The other could be wiped out of existence, thanks to the shadowy powers that wreak havoc. An old E7 prophecy may be the key, but can its mystery be unlocked? And will the Confederation and the ACTS agents of Earth be able to restrain the enemy?

Edge creates a foundation for his established and new fans alike so that they have a working knowledge of the 0-2-10 series and are entertained at the same time. The prologue hints at war and things to come, the titles of the chapters explain the content without giving too much away, and the descriptions of the celebration and great warrior Yakhan are both vivid and powerful. Though people want to worship her, she directs them to worship the true God instead. Though the author’s narrative is about war, it’s balanced by themes of love, faith in God in the face of adversity and confusion, and trusting Him to work out His plan. Edge wastes no time getting into the conflicts, and the strong dialogue between the characters moves the story along at an even pace. His succinct descriptions of characters, events, and motivations familiarize readers with all that is unfolding and what will unfold in 0-2-10, but it is intriguing enough to work as a standalone piece as well.

Edge brings you up close and personal with the worlds he describes, what their people are like, and what their goals are. One such goal is to “Protect those who cannot protect themselves!” And The Unholy Trinity is a menace. You’ll find tension, action, and interesting characters and relationships that you can latch onto and follow for some time to come, especially Treyah, and the one-of-a-kind robot he created, Echo. I especially like his relationship with his parents and the technology and customs he has created. Edge is clearly talented at world-building, character development, and plot execution. Overall, this is a fascinating beginning to his series. Treyah: An Origin Story (0-2-10 Origins Book 2) by Jarrod L. Edge is like Star Trek with a Christian angle.

5 Stars for Dr. Poy Sin

This one is going to be Big!

Even before it’s official release, Dr. Poy Sin (An Origin Story) has received a 5-star review from Reader’s Favorite

Dr. Poy Sin: An Origin Story by award-winning Jarrod L. Edge (with contributions from his daughter Kari) is an entertaining Christian sci-fi/fantasy novel from the 0-2-10 Series, sandwiched between the end of origin story “Treyah” and the beginning of the origin story “Zeta 6”. This is an intriguing tale that explores the nature of evil and a better future/eternity.

For a book that will take you away to discover new worlds, ideas, and characters, or give you origin stories of the people you already know and like, you can’t go wrong with this one. Treat your imagination to Dr. Poy Sin by Jarrod L. Edge.

Level 23…Complete!

The story of Commander Shyah is an interesting one. Her character’s story is told over many books. So, to get the entire story, you must read the online weekly renders – “Lily and the Warrior’s Bow”, the award-winning Zeta 6 (An Origin Story), the new 0-2-10 Origin story, Dr. Poy Sin (releasing August 31), and other upcoming books including the long awaited third book in the Prophecy of the Seventh Elizabeth series named Enoch (releasing in November!).

Another major part of her story will be release in the next book in the 0-2-10 series titled Fi-Yeva (An Origin Story). Fi-Yeva also appears in Zeta 6 (An Origin Story), just in case you forgot.

Don’t miss this next chapter as you piece Commander Shyah’s full story together. Here’s a sneak peak image from the upcoming book Dr. Poy Sin (An Origin Story).

Mech Thief – Weekly Render

Top Secret Alpha Lake Mech Facility Breached

Mission Report

The image above shows the suspect, tentatively identified as Killacorttet. Killacorttet is wanted in six systems for the alleged theft of multiple Legion mechs. Deceptra’s Legion has released a capture and detain order to all Legion outpost.

Our analyst have studied the crime scene holo-images and theorized that the thief may have flooded the facility to disable its security system. As you can see from the image above, the thief is walking through a flooded warehouse. Experts say that Legion mechs, as used by Raysha Squad and other elite units within Queen Deceptra’s forces, are not normally stored in wet facilities, although they could withstand those conditions.

Investigators also say that the thief may have enter through the roof of the facility. As seen in the image above, there is light entering the facility. In addition to this, the thief seems to be wearing an Adaptive Mech Interface Suit or AMIS. This is different from those suits worn by members of Raysha Squad and likely not as advanced. However, it is worth noting that the thief also has a neural interface and a breathing apparatus. As you can almost see from the camera attached to the underside of one of the mechs, the neural interface is attached to multiple points of the thief’s cranium.

The Regional Legion Headquarters has issued a reward for any news leading to the capture of Killacorttet.
