Turns out it’s hard to remember to take pictures at events. Here are some additional photos from last week: More from Water Street Bookstore in Exeter, NH; waiting to be introduced by Tom Watson at Adams Spanish Immersion School in St. Paul, MN; and outside the country’s oldest bookshop.

MORE FROM THE LUCK UGLIES WATER STREET BOOKSTORE EVENT:

Warning: Much like lies, Black Moon Cookies will turn your tongue as black as a Bog Noblin’s!

And yet they’re actually quite delicious (pained looks on the children’s faces notwithstanding).

CALL FOR FAN ART!

Now that The Luck Uglies is out there for everyone to read, please feel free to email me your fan art! Pencil sketches, color, paint…whatever your style I’d love to see your drawings of your favorite heroes, villains, and places around Village Drowning.

Email your original art to pauldurhambooks@gmail.com and include your first name and age if you would like. Every week or so I’ll post fan art here and on my facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pauldurhambooks.  The art always stays yours, I’ll just post it for everyone to see!

I was thrilled to get to spend THE LUCK UGLIES Release Day with the awesome students and teachers at the Seacoast Charter School in Kingston, New Hampshire. There were masks, books, great questions, and even secret banana messages. Thank you SCS and Happy Reading!

Spring peepers, bugs, and who knows what else join in the serenade after dark. So far, I haven’t found anything out here that’s looking to eat me…
