Tourists of the Apocalypse

**Winner of the 2016 National Indie Excellence Award in Science Fiction, the 2016 Readers Favorite International Book Contest and the 2016 Shelf Media Best Indie Book Contest**

Dylan Townsend stands on the beach watching commercial jets fall out of the sky like oak leaves twirling in the wind. A wing shears off the one closest to the shore just before it splashes down in the sea. Why was she telling him this outlandish story? What sort of Tourist Agency would offer people a front row seat to the end of the world? More importantly, why would anyone book such a vacation if there wasn’t any way home afterward?

“Why would anyone buy a ticket on the Titanic if they knew it was doomed?”

“Relax Dylan,” she assures him. “If you know it’s going to sink, you could bring a raft.”

As she paces in the sand watching the sky, he realizes that however wild her story may be, he loves her. Maybe Izzy is a time travel tour guide after all. In truth, he is more likely to be harmed by her boyfriend than the imminent apocalypse. What’s he going to about that sticky situation?

“Come on,” she orders, pulling on his arm. “We need to see a man about a raft.”

DISCLAIMER: This novel contains no profanity, some violence, an office princess in bondage, cowboy coffee, classic cars, love triangles, domestic violence, birthday cake, Lion Country Safari mishaps, beach volleyball, road rage, a prosthetic shotgun, text messages on gum wrappers and the strong belief that people are a product of their experiences and not just genetically predisposed to mayhem.

Any resemblance to actual historical events or persons alive or dead is purely coincidental.

Waypoint

Stacy’s life is in free-fall, her daughter killed by a drunk driver, her husband taking his own life only months later. She finds herself clutching a handgun, searching for a sign that tomorrow will be any better than today. At this auspicious moment her cell phone rings, bringing an offer that may postpone her soul searching.

The discovery of an airplane graveyard containing a dozen commercial airliners is shocking. When the deep-sea salvage camera’s reveal them to be virtually undamaged under six-thousand feet of water in the Indian Ocean, theories abound. Who put them there? How are they still in one piece? What reason could there be?

Stacy is about to learn the answers to those questions, as well things she’d prefer to forget. Along the way, she’ll have to solve this puzzle, and many more to prevent an even larger disaster from happening.

This book contains the following: tiny robots, falsified government identification, autonomous drones, ATM malfunctions, mid-air collisions, fear of sharks, Australian bar pranks, pointing guns out the window of a moving plane, video games, Area-51, milk shake do’s and don’ts and everyone’s possible need of at least one good friend.

Read at your own risk.

Fifty to One – The relationship roller coaster from teens to middle ages (thank heaven for therapy)

Before beginning her writing, first-time author Olivia M Isaacs had a diverse career, some of which depleted her while others enriched her life experiences. These experiences have been thought-provoking, intense, candid and surreal. The thing is, Olivia likes real, so she thought that writing about her real experiences might be of interest to some of you. As she approached fifty, having lived, loved and lost with a string of failed relationships behind her, she decided to get real in therapy and find out what was behind this streak of bad love. Things that Olivia likes to be real: Real butter: not the ‘Who Would Believe They Are Trying To Pass This Off As Butter”’ stuff. Real communication where brutal honesty is less about the brutal and far more about the honest Real fur, but only on the original owner. Real passion: She is passionate about, but not consumed by; love, mutual respect, animal rights, human rights, music, her work, family, friends and travel. Political correctness can be overrated while respect is seriously under-utilised. She believes that balance is key. She used to eat over-done steak and drink cheap red wine until someone showed her the difference.
