MG Authors Love Teachers (A Ginormous Giveaway!)
My cheeky monkeys! Happy Valentine’s Day!
I love Valentine’s Day, mainly because I enjoy the deeply discounted bags of candy at the drugstore. But! I also love that it’s a day to tell anyone how much you love them! And I LOVE YOU GUYS! I love readers. I love book people. And I really love teachers and librarians.
To me, teachers and librarians are the ones who start it all. They nurture creativity, encourage curious minds, and set the path for a life filled with all sorts of cool stuff. We owe...

Deep Sea Creepers!
I’m taking a break from some drafting to post something of UTMOST IMPORTANCE. Something that couldn’t wait! Something that will shake you to your very core!
What is is, you ask?
THIS GUY.
This is an anglerfish. If it’s not THE creepiest thing on the planet, it’s at least in the top ten. Because they’re so rare, we usuallyonly see these things in illustrations like the one above, or in grainy pictures of the already-deceased critter. Poor dear.
UNTIL NOW!

London, Dodo Bones, and other Magical Things
Hello my cheeky monkeys!
It has been a busy month here. In not-so-awesome news, I’m currently stuck on the couch with a bit of a bug. But! In less phlegmy-news, I have some fun pictures from London last month to share with you! It turned out to be one of the coolest, geekiest trips ever and was just what I needed to wrap up the hectic summer. I’m just now figuring out how to embed Instagram posts here, so bear with me!
We were lucky enough to stay at a hotel right beside the Tower Bridge. This...
