Main Street Reads YA Book Club
Super excited to meet and chat with the members of Main Street Reads Young Adult Book Club in just over an hour. Last month they selected my new fantasy, Temple of Eternity, as their book of the month. At 3pm PST I get to chat with them live via Zoom. Truly, there are few things I like more than chatting with young people about books. This is the first book club to feature my book since it’s release and I can’t wait to hear what they think!

Back At It!
After a long week following the release of my new young adult fantasy, Temple of Eternity, I’ve headed to the local mountains of Lake Arrowhead, just outside of Los Angeles, for some rest and relaxation. For me, that means working on book four and revisiting book three with an eye towards publication (hopefully sometime next year!).
I come up here to clear my head and focus on my stories without the distractions of normal day-to-day life in the city. Being in a quiet space when you want to write is something I encourage every writer and aspiring author to explore. It’s difficult enough to create when there are no distractions. Add the daily routine and it can feel like an impossible task. Sometimes you just need a little fresh air, and a lot of peace and quiet.

They’re Here!
They’re here! It took a while but the first box of books of my new YA fantasy, Temple of Eternity, finally arrived today . What a wacky world we live in these days, huh? These were ordered weeks ago and just arrived the day after the release. Better late than never right?
It feels wonderful to hold a finished copy in my hands, and even better to be able to show them and share them with all of you! For anyone who doesn’t know, I’m offering a bunch of giveaway treats as part of the book launch celebration. One of the goodies is a signed bookplate that you can put in your book to have your own signed copy.

One Week Till Launch!
Things are crazy busy right now. My new young adult fantasy, Temple of Eternity, releases in exactly one week. I am exhausted but also exhilarated by all the action leading up to the release. Here are just a few of the exciting items going on as we head down the home stretch:
Netgalley is now carrying advanced reader copies (ARCs) for anyone who wants to get a sneak peak before the official release next Thursday, Sept 24th. If you are not already a Netgalley member and want access, you can sign up here. Meanwhile, I’ve got a whole presentation (complete with video trailers!) ready for launch day. The launch party will be hosted on launch day by the Pulpwood Academy starting at 5pm PST. Sorry, I don’t have the Zoom link quite yet, but stay tuned. I’ll post it as soon as it’s available.
