Llàrjme is my pen name and I'm an indie writer from a suburb of Milano. Like many of us I fell victim to the worldwide depression; so, among VAT, training, competitive state examinations and more or less temporary jobs, I wrote. Now I've an EIN, my self-published book "Via Castelli 4" [Amazon Kindle and Paperback formats (Italian ed. for now)] and I'm at work on the English version of it.
I'm looking forward to introducing my YA to you!

Hello lovely people! I'm currently at work on the English version of Via Castelli 4, that will come out in 2014, and I'm looking for a professional to translate my book (Italian version) into English.

I'd like to get in touch with US freelance Translators (ATA members better) who handle Literary translation (Literature-fiction, YA romance) from Italian into English=native language. I'm looking for a translator who gives the nature and purpose of my novel, not a word-for-word version, and ensures that the output reads as well as the original choosing the equivalent expression in the target language: he/she should be at home with teens, arts, music and sports.
We'll work together along the way and specifications should be worked out interactively between us.

Ross reviews: “Romantic and modern novel, aimed at mature teenagers. Pivot of the plot is crossed love between two young lovers: Marika and Matteo; besides, important themes emerge from the story, such as friendship, family, responsibilities.

I really value the author's depictive skills: the characters’ physical details are drawn but not stressed, just some nuances of their temper and the rest comes unaffectedly out of their own behavior; moreover, great care of their sensations and feelings, that are effective, likely, justified. Each character plays a clearly defined role and knows how to proceed and act.

The places where the action is played in are well portrayed throughout the novel, thus giving credibility to the story. The Author’s style is excellent and detailed. She knows how to discuss soccer matters, European football matters, without boring those who are no judge of that, and she knows how to deal with feelings without being corny.
On the other hand, I would have even more explored some of the themes that are just touched upon in the course of events, such as bullying and homosexuality.

Waiting for the sequel, congrats to the author!”
