My new creation...

I am really excited about my new novel, so I thought that I will post an extract from it! It is currently with my editor and this snippet is unedited and subject to change.

I knew she didn’t want to see me but I couldn’t help myself. When I heard her bedroom door open and movement in the hallway, I crept out of my hiding spot in my room and walked to the stairs. It took everything in me not to run down those steps, round the corner and gather her up in my arms demanding that she doesn’t leave, promising her anything she wanted because I would do anything for her.

I stood there listening to her movements, her talking, her breathing. Aiden knew something was up, he just sat there staring at her. His large eyes pleading for an explanation. “It’s going to be ok boy.” She spoke softly, “I have to go but you’ll be ok.” Aiden let out a cry, “Look after him.” She whispered.
“Ready to go?” Ray asked.
“I don’t want to keep the car dad.” I could hear the keys rattling, I gripped the railing of the steps, stopping myself from telling her to take it with her. How could I get by knowing that she was catching taxi’s everywhere.

“It’s up to you honey, Rick said to keep it until you get a new one.” Thanks Ray, I thought you were on my side. There was silence then I heard the sound of keys being placed on the counter top, footsteps and the door opening and closing. Aiden let out a cry and I felt like doing the same. Releasing my hold on the railing, I stepped into the main area and went over to the kitchen counter. There sat the car keys and the apartment keys.

Needing to see her, I tapped the counter in decision and went to the front window, slowly pulling the curtain back I had the perfect view of her, she and Ray were loading her suitcase into a waiting taxi. At least she had someone with her. As the boot was shut Ray went around to the other side of the car and they both opened their doors, Ray climbed in but Lu stopped.

“Turn around.” I pleaded to myself as I stared at her back. I held my breath as her head turned slightly, her body twisting against the open car door, when our eyes met she just stood there, frozen like me. I placed my hand on the window, palm out and held it there until the taxi was out of sight. Watching Lu leave was the hardest thing I have had to ever do. She took my heart with her and she didn’t even know.

Surprise!

Working on Bailey and Nate's story, here is a snip-it from Jaci and Gray's wedding:

I laughed at the memories of what Jaci put him through, she didn’t make it easy for him, that’s for sure.

"What’s so funny?" I hear Nate’s voice say from beside me. I quickly glance his way then back at the dance floor.
"Just how much trouble Jaci was to get to this point" I informed him.

He was silent for a moment, when I went to walk off he grabbed my hand and pulled me to him, "Dance with me".

Before I could protest I was dragged onto the dance floor and was in Nate’s arms, dancing to the current song. I looked at everywhere but at him, he on the other hand was staring at me.

"It turned out to be a good evening" he spoke quietly. I looked up at him
"It did, didn’t it" I couldn’t help the smile that came across my face, Nate smiled too, one of his fingertips coming up and brushing my dimple. I quickly lost my smile, I hate my dimples.

"Are you having fun? There’s this red head that’s been eyeing you since the ceremony. Mandy I think her name is, one of Grays cousins" I wanted to get out of his grip, it felt to good.

"I’m not interested in any red heads" he said. I looked up at him, I recognised the look in his eyes, luckily the bride came over

"Bailey, may I have this dance?"
"Yes" I said a little too fast and stepped away from Nate.
"I’m angry at you" she said as we danced
"What did I do?" I asked offended.
"It’s what you didn’t do. You didn’t tell me, you didn’t even drop clues. I was totally taken by surprise. I don’t like surprises" she admitted.
"It was a good surprise though"
"The best, so your forgiven, but just this once"

I laughed and so did she. We continued to dance and eventually Simon and Chris joined us. People started to head up to their rooms once the bride and groom had left. Gray had whisked her away on a honeymoon. That was something none of us knew about. I was heading towards my room when I was grabbed and pushed against a wall, a large body trapping me in, it smelt of Nate.

"You've been ignoring me" he stated. I looked to my sides for an escape, there was none, I was trapped between Nate’s arms

"Am not" I sounded like a child, but I didn’t care. I just wanted out of his arms, away from his touch. He did something to me and I didn’t like it.

"Yes you are. Why Bailey?" I closed my eyes when he said my name in that voice. Like I said, it did stuff to me. I swallow and only shake my head, all thought and speech gone.

I feel a hand lightly touch my face, "So your not ignoring me then. It’s all in my head?" he whispered, his voice vibrating off my skin.

I nodded, my speech still eluding me. "That’s good because I’ve been fantasizing about tearing that dress off you all night"

Hello!

Hello fellow readers! This is the first of many blogs, so bare with me. I have written two books that have been self-published and are available.

Love Obsessed: A love triangle of a different sort.

From the moment that Brandon saw Erin in a local bar he was hooked. He had to protect her and make sure that she was treated right.

Erin never expected to come across someone like Brandon in her life. She had looked after herself since she was a young teenager and now she has someone who is hell bent on looking after her.

Cole has the desire to look after Erin too. He fell in love with her the first day that Brandon brought Erin home to meet the family. He has to have her, but at what cost?

When all emotions are revealed, conflicts are caused, choices have to be made and Erin has to decide what is best for her, a best friend who will do anything for her or the love of her life.

This book came about as I was sitting outside, playing with my son. One moment we were building sandcastles, the next I was 'Lets head inside' and hit the computer.

My second book is Happening Now. Raised by a family of men who are famous and overprotective of her, Jaci White had no idea what to do when Gray Travis, a professional racing driver started to show her attention after one night together. With Jaci’s father and two older brothers being professionals in their sporting careers, she has sworn that those types of men are not for her. She’s not interested but as Gray makes friends with her friends she starts to see a different view on her all pros are assholes campaign.

Gray Travis has got it all but nothing he has or wants compares to having Jaci in his life. He knows that she has secrets and she has a great wall up. As he starts to spend all of his free time around her and her friends, her walls fall and Gray gets through. He gets the girl but on one earth shattering night everything falls apart and he may just loose the love of his life.

Jaci is trying to make it in the real world by herself by not having to rely on her family money. She isn't interested in dating only her career that she loves with everything and her three best friends who are her rocks. Jaci doesn’t like people knowing who her family is for fear that they will use her like they use to years ago before she wanted a different life.

Gray doesn't know who Jaci’s family is but starts to wonder as she never mentions them, has no idea where she lives and well Jaci changes or avoids the topic all together. As their relationship progresses Jaci starts to wonder what Gray’s reaction will be when he finds out where she comes from and what her family will say to her seeing another sports professional.

I love this book. I have this whole idea and concept for a few more stories for the White family.

I have giveaways for both of these books that end in November and excerpts are available to read.

Please let me know what you think, friend me, fan me. I am eager to hear what you all think!
