The Newest Art of Sales Management book in Print
This week I finalized the second book in the series of the Art of Sales Management, and it is not available as a print on demand book. If you would like to order a copy of ‘The Art of Sales Management: Revelations of a Goal Maker‘ click here. The third book in the series is already in the layout stage, and I am expecting to release this later this month or in early November.
The Art of Sales Management: Revelations of a Goal Maker is a book that is about sales and sales management, and how it is driven by a goal maker. It is about the understanding of goals, and how to inspire others to achieve their individual goals, as well as the group goals that you set.
If further defines the philosophy defined in the first book in the series ‘The Art of Sales Management: Lessons Learned on the Fly’. Both are now available on Amazon in both Kindle and in print.

My first book in print coming soon…
I began my published writing career with eBooks, and I have progressively been releasing my books through Amazon Kindle and some have been now made available on Nook, Sony and Apple iBooks as well as other stores. To date I have not ventured into print on demand books until now.
I am happy to announce that I am very near releasing my popular eBook entitled ‘The Art of Sales Management: Lessons Learned on the Fly‘ in print. I expect to be announcing that this book is available in the coming weeks. It is my plan to release a majority of my books in print in the coming months, with a target of having them all available by next summer some time. It is quite a project for an independent author then you have a dozen titles, and also new projects in the works as well.
I still have more books on the drawing board so to speak based on demand in certain subject categories. I may release a fourth book in the series on Sales Management when each of the other three are made available in print. Converting all my existing titles is of course a project that will keep me busy during the winter, but 2014 looks to be an even bigger and exciting year.

My Name is Blue: The Story of a Rescue Dog
I recently released a new eBook called . It is a non-fiction book written from the puppies viewpoint on his rescue from a shelter. The story of course is fiction to the degree that the dog is writing the story, but the events he describes did in fact happen. It is a story about how a little dog finds his way out of a shelter and into a loving home.
The book was inspired by my dog Blue who is the star in all the photos in the story. My wife and I rescued Blue from a shelter in June of 2013 and he has brought so much happiness to our lives. At the time when we adopted him we were semi-unaware of the plight of dogs in animal shelters.
Shelters across the country accept 6-8 million dogs each year. The inflow of animals is far greater than shelter space, and the shelter resources to find new homes. Shelters that euthanize dogs do so because they believe that warehousing the dogs is not in the best interest of the animals. Every animal deserves a decent quality of life, and living in prison cages over the long term does not support this principle.
This book was written to help raise awareness of the plight of dogs in shelters and encourage people to rescue dogs and give them a quality life. Please take a moment to share this article with other people and help spread the word. You can turn a shelter dog into a rescue dog by encouraging people to read this book and get inspired by the love a dog can bring into ones life.

Small Business Marketing: An Insider’s Collection of Secrets eBook Released
My newest eBook to be published on Amazon is entitled ‘Small Business Marketing” An Insider’s Collection of Secrets’. This new eBook covers a great deal of material for the small business marketer, giving inside tips on how to maximize marketing efforts with a low budget. Most small business owners in order to survive against the onslaught of a challenging economy and a taxing government are seeking ways to market themselves without breaking the bank.
This book offers insight into how to be successful with one’s marketing efforts even when there are limited funds to work with. The book was written to help small business from the size of 1-2 people, to as large as 100. It engages the reader to think in new and unconventional terms, and embraces both traditional forms of marketing and the new and emerging tools such as the internet and social media.
Any small business owner will find tools in this book that will fit their business model, and give them the boost they are looking for. The secrets imparted in this book were learned from trial and error on my part over two decades managing the marketing for my own companies. The information I cover in the book is all from first hand experience and quite often derived from expensive lessons along the way with costly experimentation. So when I wrote this book, I envisioned being able to offer other small businesses a road map to help them save money by taking the right steps to begin with without the expensive trial and error.
Certainly with any marketing position, there is always going to be a degree of experimenting one must engage in. However, this book will provide a path to avoid major and expensive mistakes by using some common sense preparation steps in ones planning. The book also includes at the end a 10 step plan to set the foundation of any small business marketing campaign to serve as a launching pad for a larger one as the company grows.
Small Business Marketing is never an exact science, as there are so many different types of small businesses out there. However, there are some fundamental tools every small business can use in this book which will help them do their job a lot faster with successful results.

New Sales Management eBook Released in June 2013
In June of this year I released a 3rd installment on my series of eBooks on the Art of Sales Management. This was a series of books drawn mostly from my years as a sales manager when I ran my company called Artistic Glass of Atlanta, Inc. in Roswell, Georgia during the 1990′s and early 2000′s.
I sold the company in 2001, but the ideas to write those books still we with me over the years. I had many notes on the subject, and essays I had written. At one point in January of this year I decided to embark on the project to codify them into an easy to read and use format.
The newest eBook in the series is called: ‘The Art of Sales Management: 75 Training Drills to Build Confidence, Excellence & Teamwork’. It expounds upon a series of training tools for managers to train sales people, from new to experienced. It is a book that took a great deal of research, and is drawn from over three decades or more of experience in the field of sales management and sales training.
The first book in the series is entitled ‘The Art of Sales Management: Lessons Learned on the Fly’ and the second book in the series is ‘The Art of Sales Management: Revelations of a Goal Maker’. All three of these eBooks are available in Kindle format on Amazon. There may be a release in the future of the first book in print at some point, but that has yet to be determined.

The Release of my first Fiction eBook ‘Scary Elephant Meets the Closet Monster’
I just released my first children’s eBook entitled ‘Scary Elephant Meets the Closet Monster’. It is my first fiction story I have released, and it was a project I worked on for about 5 months. Not only did I write the story, I also illustrated the entire book as well, with over 20 original illustrations.
The story surrounds ‘Solomon’ who is a young elephant in a world that seems very scary to him. His fear of shadows, sounds in the night and all sorts of unknown things keeps him frequently covered in goose bumps and trembling with chills run up and down his spine. He sleeps at night with his head under the covers, and his trunk sticking out so he can smell monsters coming.
His general fear of so many usual (and unusual) things makes him the subject of ridicule from other elephant children, and so he lives in his own world of active imagination.
Solomon’s greatest fear is his own bedroom closet at nighttime. This story takes place one evening after a voice in his closet began whispering to him.
Join Solomon the ‘Scary Elephant’ as he embarks on a chilling adventure to find answers to the mystery voice in the darkness. Follow him step by step as he battles his terror through the unfolding events of the night.
You will laugh and cheer for him as he conquers his own fear of the unknown and makes discoveries he never expected about himself and the world around him.
Instead of his worst fears being realized, in the end he finds a friendship, which turns his world upside down.
You will smile at this heartwarming story as a little elephant learns his own imagination was running away with him, and how he discovers the magic of friendship. He also discovers that others are just afraid as he is, but sometimes just about different things.
A fun adventure for children (ages 9 and up) who are sometimes scared of mysterious noises at night, their own bedroom closet and the general unknowns of the darkness. ‘Scary Elephant Meets the Closet Monster’ makes for a great bedtime story to read aloud as well.
Written and illustrated by Michael Delaware. This story is a must read for any children’s eBook collection.

My Current Works as a Writer
I am an independently published author whose main medium of publishing it though eBooks. All of my titles are currently available on Amazon, and I have a few titles on Smashwords. I have plans to make some of the titles available on Nook format later this year; however I have my concerns about the stability of the Barnes and Noble Nook division as per recent article in the press. I expect a merger in the future of Nook with either Amazon or Smashwords, or perhaps even another publisher such as Lulu. The world of eBooks is expanding and evolving with every month, so the future is exciting.
My current works as of the date of this article are all non-fiction books. My first books were on real estate topics that I had quite a bit of demand on. My three titles on this subject include: ‘Understanding Land Contract Homes: In Pursuit of the American Dream’, ‘Land Contract Homes for Investors’ and ‘Going Home… Renting to Home Ownership in 10 Easy Steps’. These books have all sold well and have regular sales each month. I may write a few more books on real estate later this year to expand on the subject of land contracts further, and other areas of investing.
Another subject area that I have written non-fiction books in has been on sales management. I have two books currently available on this subject: ‘The Art of Sales Management: Lessons Learned on the Fly’ and ‘The Art of Sales Management: Revelations of a Goal Maker’. Both have been selling quite well, and the demand has compelled me to continue to work on this series. I have currently three more titles in this series in the planning stages for later this year.
The other area I have written non-fiction books in is on arts and crafts shows. I have two books that are strong sellers in this subject area. They are: ‘Arts & Crafts Shows: The Top 10 Mistakes Artist Vendors Make… And How to Avoid Them!’ and ‘Arts & Crafts Shows: 12 Secrets Every Artist Vendor Should Know’. Both of these books have been received very well, and have become popular with vendor artists all over the U.S. and Canada. I have plans to write two more books on this subject and release them later this year.
Finally my newest book in non-fiction is entitled simply ‘Inspiration’. It was a book that I became interested in writing quite some time ago. It goes into the subject of ‘inspiration’ in as many facets as I could explore, encouraging the reader to explore and discover inspiration in the many areas of their lives. It is meant to open doors for creativity and spirituality for an individual.
As a writer I still have many projects planned for this year, and continue to work diligently to publish them as they are completed. If you are visiting my page, I hope you will explore the titles here of my books that are listed in the header of this web page, and on the side bar as well. I invite you to subscribe to my newsletter as well.
