Poisonous Lipsticks to die for – Part 2

Vagabond Traders

elizabeth

As Christianity took hold in Europe and the dark ages started creeping in along with the burning of books, black cats and witches (who were probably just strong opinionated women that weak men had problems with), lipsticks became a thing of the past and was almost completely written out of the history books

However, it made a resurgence when the dramatic, no-nonsense English Queen took hold of the throne. This was only after her crazy dad beheaded and divorced his 6 wives a...

Poisonous Lipsticks to die for – Part 1

Vagabond Traders

An Uncommon Sister – Christian Bruce

History... the interesting bits!

330px-Turnberry_Castle Turnberry Castle

Christian Bruce was one of the many children of Sir Robert le Brus, Lord of Annandale, and his wife Marjorie, Countess of Carrick in her own right. Christian was probably born at her father’s castle of Turnberry sometime in the 1370s or early 1380s.

Christian’s gr...

MikeCashRafterCopter The History Major: A Novella
Written by Michael Phillip Cash

HistoryMajor, picI received a copy of this book in return for an honest non-biased review.

Hung over college student Amanda Greene wakes up in her dorm to an unsettling situation. She vaguely remembers a fight the night before with her boyfriend, Patrick, and partying with her two best girlfriends who don’t like him. But her room is at once familiar and strangely different; her roommate is someone she has never met. Fin...
