To Gunnar of the Tarn life is wandering. The Hegemons are no longer reclusive. In fact, now that the universe knows who they are, they have done a complete one-eighty and launched invasions of the only neighboring nations capable of resisting them: the Achaean Confederacy, and Valhalla Free State. Worlds have been conquered, billions have died, and now Rex finds himself and his crew right in the middle of it. When an attempt to rescue an Achaean ship ends with them all trapped on a besieged world, Rex must throw in with his new allies to try and find a way out. Outnumbered and cut-off, desperate options are all they have left. A victory could turn the tide of the entire war, but a defeat could cripple the last military forces of these beleaguered nations, leaving the whole galaxy open to invasion. But what choice remains? New Book Update!
Well folks, just got my latest book back from the copy editor, so I thought I’d let you all in on what’s coming. The book is titled THE BOYS OF THE BREACH, and follows two prematurely retired Army Special Forces soldiers. They’ve been hired to provide protection and security for scientists working at a facility that explores the multiverse, opening breaches into other universes to see what’s out there and what they can learn. But with every possible eventuality existing in one parallel universe or another, they’re bound to run into danger, on a fairly regular basis. That’s where the soldiers come in. Leading a guard company of other former military and police veterans, they take on everything the multiverse can throw at them: Pissed-off sentient dinosaurs, alien critters who feed off body-horror, prehistoric bears with a grudge, interdimensional corsair slavers, wild west madmen bent on refighting the civil war, parallel versions of themselves who cheat at cards…even ex-wives they may or may not still be hung up on. They’re job is to take on them all and bring the egg-heads home safe. The multiverse may be a dangerous place, but these are dangerous people…

This ones a western action-adventure, a tale of vengeance vs justice in a coming-of-age story that pits a young man and his unprepared compatriots against a hardened bandit gang with visions of grandeur.

The Day of the Deputy
Stanton Brunner has always lived in the shadow of famous lawmen. His father is a respected town sheriff, his grandfather a legendary, retired U.S. Marshal. But Stan never wanted to have it out with the bandits of the world, and was content to live the quiet life of a frontier town gunsmith. This comes to a crashing end when Bloody Brit Talmadge and his band of outlaws ride into town. Talmadge is a hardened killer with a cruel philosophy to match. He means to rule the town and surrounding valley with an iron fist, and that requires eliminating all who might challenge him. When tragedy strikes Stan’s family at Talmadge’s hands, the young man finds himself with a choice: slink away and do nothing, or take up the badge where no one else will. If he stays and fights, he faces seasoned killers who have him outnumbered, and have the townsfolk running scared. Stan, on the other hand, has never shot at a man, never enforced the law, and never really been in a serious fight. Beyond his inexperience, he’s also torn between a duty to see justice done, and a seething, justifiable desire for revenge. About the only thing the man has going for him is courage, and soon enough that courage will be the only thing standing between a small town and complete annihilation.

Chaos Quarter Update! Book 5
Hey everyone. Writing to let you all know that I have finished a first draft on a new Chaos Quarter book, the fifth in the series. Think of the crew trapped and helpless on a planet ruled by a mafia-style crime syndicate, and having to find a way to get out and get home. Plenty of editing and rewrites left to do, so I can't give a date yet, but I'm hoping for some time this summer. Keep an eye out!
