Single White Incubus Release Day!
It’s release day for Single White Incubus, the first in my new Supernatural Selection series. This series is part of the newly named Mythmatched universe, which also comprises the Fae Out of Water trilogy, so you’ll see some familiar faces lurking on each book’s pages!

Eugene Pride 2018
Eugene/Springfield Pride Festival!
This Saturday, August 11th, is the Eugene/Springfield Pride Festival–aka Pride in the Park. I’ll be joining the festivities along with a bunch of other authors from the LGBTQ Authors Northwest group, including Annabeth Albert, Ben Brock, Charli Coty, Lynn Lorenz, and Karelia Stetz-Waters.
Saturday, August 11th – Come on down to Alton Baker Park and find us at booth #60. We’ll be there from noon until 6:00pm.
Sunday, August 12th – We’ll be reading at the Barnes and Noble at 1163 Valley River Drive, starting at 11:00am. We’d love to see you there!

Latest Virtual Appearances
My Latest (Virtual) Appearances
I started off the month of June with not one but two excursions out of my introvert writer’s cave! This takes some serious self-pep-talking, since I’m far more comfortable hunkering down here under my metaphorical rock and pecking at the laptop than, you know, talking to actual people! Luckily for me, the people in question are two of the nicest people it’s been my privilege to meet!
I was honored to be a guest on Rachael Herron’s How Do You Write podcast. Can you believe it? Me, talking (on camera, too!). I’m still not sure I believe it, but the evidence is there, on iTunes, on the non-denominational podcast site, and on YouTube. *gulp* I was surprisingly not terrified, primarily because Rachael was so warm and welcoming.
If that wasn’t excitement enough to last me for the next six months or so, my friend (and personal goddess) C. Morgan Kennedy interviewed me for her Melting Pot column at Night Owl Romance. We talked about my Art Medium series (especially Tested in Fire, the second book). C is a big fan of my psychic counselor, Peg (aka Marguerite Windflower), and her ghost sidekick, Hootie. (BTW, C lent her name, Morgan–and her stellar hugs–to a secondary character in For a Good Time, Call…). Thanks, C! For everything!

Nudging Fate is out in the world!
It’s release week for Nudging Fate, the first book in my new Enchanted Occasions series from Dreamspinner Press! A paranormal romantic comedy along the lines of Cutie and the Beast, Nudging Fate is part of the Dreamspun Beyond category line, so it’s chock full of tropey goodness. Mistaken identity! Royalty in disguise! Forbidden love! Rampaging goblin chefs!
Okay, maybe that last one isn’t technically a romance trope, but Nudging Fate‘s got one anyway.

Nudging Fate, the first book in my Enchanted Occasions series with Dreamspinner, releases on May 15th, and it’s now available for pre-order at all the major retailer sites as well as at Dreamspinner! This series is about the people (who aren’t entirely human) who work for Enchanted Occasions, an event planning company whose name is not entirely metaphorical!
In this first story, the enchanted occasion in question is “The Courting, Coronation, and Handfasting of His Royal Highness Reyner of Maidencourt, the One True Prince of Faerie.” In other words, it’s The Bachelor meets The Wedding Planner–but with myth and magic!
It’s another of my “paranormal romantic comedies,” like Cutie and the Beast, so if you were a fan of CatB, you might want to check this one out too!
