Creating CoPOWERment® Presentation to American Business Women's Association ABWA

Wonderful Creating CoPOWERment® presentation last night to the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) chapters in Hawai'i, including the host chapter, Na Kilohana 'O Wahine. According to their president's e-mail to me "The American Business Women's Association (ABWA) http://www.abwa.org is a non-profit association with chapters nationally and five local chapters in Hawaii. Our mission is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition. ABWA offers financial assistance and sponsors scholarships for women needing additional education in order to attain higher positions in business. Our vision statement is that we believe in increasing the value of women by encouraging professional development through leadership, networking, collaboration, and motivating each other in our daily lives. Our national organization is celebrating its 65th Anniversary and our theme this year is: “Here’s to another 65 years, changing women’s lives; one woman at a time."

Mahalo nui loa to my producer and publicist, Rich Fahle of Astral Road Media and Bibliostar.TV and to Brandon Toro who helped connect me. Mahalo nui loa also to Kimberly Richard Arakawa and Andrew Arakawa of Prune Copywriting, both of whom copyedited the book and to Kim who helped me design an awesome website and format my presentation in Prezi and also to fellow coach and author Kathryn Orford who sent me an excellent article on what questions to ask before doing a presentation via Speaker Magazine. <3

My main focus was on making The Creating CoPOWERment Workbook a book for people who wanted to coach themselves through life transition or for other life coaches to utilize with their clients. It draws upon over 30 years of scientific positive psychology research, interviews with past clients and body/mind/spirit experts and includes hands-on practical exercises to support independent-minded people to attain success on their own terms.

2nd expanded and enhanced edition of The Creating #CoPOWERment Workbook with seven new chapters and interviews with international body-mind-spirit experts and groundbreaking positive psychology research into creativity, social media, social entrepreneurs, body-mind-heart-spirit fitness, dealing with difficulty...even death, etc.... coming in 2015.
