The Proposal
Watch me regularly complain about this book because it makes me want to strangle something, but the joke’s on me because I’ve read it 3 times at this point RIP
(seriously, I have no idea why this series has its claws in me as deep as it does. It’s a problem)
The secret baby Gage has been hiding from his childhood sweetheart might not stay a secret much longer. The proposal? It’s about to turn his life upside down.
Being a single dad isn’t easy, but Gage is determined to stay the course for...

Starter Villain
I wanted something lighthearted, easy and fun to read that still hit all the cool-premise buttons, and this absolutely did all of that!
Inheriting your uncle’s supervillain business is more complicated than you might think. Particularly when you discover who’s running the place.
Charlie’s life is going nowhere fast. A divorced substitute teacher living with his cat in a house his siblings want to sell, all he wants is to open a pub downtown, if only the bank will approve his loan.
Then his lon...

Adrift in Currents Clean and Clear
“Nadya had three mothers: the one who bore her, the country that poisoned her, and the one who adopted her.
Nadya never considered herself less than whole, not until her adoptive parents fitted her with a prosthetic arm against her will, seeking to replace the one she’d been missing from birth.
It was cumbersome; it was uncomfortable; it was wrong.
It wasn’t her.
Frustrated and unable to express why, Nadya began to wander, until the day she fell through a door into Belyyreka, the Lan...

To Wield The Darkest Night
I really love the idea of a dark yet cozy romantasy centered around a trans apothecary falling for a cursed knight.
Every night, I see that man—that lovely stranger—in my dreams.
So strong, mysterious, gentle… but a stranger all the same.
Until one day he shows up at my doorstep, and promises me adventure…
As a closeted trans man and apothecary to a small town, Sol is numbed by his uneventful life. Stifled by his neighbors’ expectations, he only finds comfort in his sleep, where he is haunted b...

Possessive Puckboy
The 8th installment of the Puckboys series made me a bit wary of it by featuring a bit of (former) bully-victim trope. However, seeing both Conner and Parker already introduced in Forbidden Puckboy made me quite excited for this one, as I really enjoyed Connor’s arc in it.
Connor
Finding out those closest to me don’t see me as the great guy I think I am not only kicks me in the gut, it makes me question everything.
Until that happened, I didn’t think I had many regrets in my life. Now, I have ...

Bromantic Puckboy
While all of the titles of this series are sort of silly, this one felt especially silly and I have to admit, in combination with knowing one of the main characters to be supposedly very “frat-bro-ish”, I was not super looking forward to it.
I ended up absolutely loving it though!
Bilson
The idea of moving away from Seattle was a joke at first.
I have too many failed relationships here. Too much baggage.
So when I find myself signing with Nashville and leaving everything behind, I’m hopeful a ne...

Clueless Puckboy
Another workplace romance in the series – to be fair almost all of them are workplace romances, I guess I mean one with potential for ethical concerns? Unlike in Oskar’s book, here it is handled professionally the whole way through.
Quinn
Straining my groin is bad enough. It puts my hockey career, my future, but even worse, my dignity on the line. Having to get massages in that area from Vance Landon, one of the team trainers, is mortifying. It’s impossible to hide my feelings toward him. If ...

Foolish Puckboy
This one was so sweet, made even sweeter in contrast to the previous book in the series.
ALEKS
After my divorce, I’m ready to have fun, date around, and not get into anything serious. Then I meet Gabe Crosby, superhero firefighter and a disgrace to the Crosby name. He doesn’t even like hockey!
Yet, there’s a draw to him I can’t deny—something I haven’t felt since my teens. But that’s the problem. I have no idea what dating is like, let alone how to do it with another man. He makes me flakey an...
