I am Summer Montgomery. My face has graced magazine covers all across the world. My looks will deceive you. I am a bad girl with a smart ass mouth and the attitude to back it up. Playing with me is like playing with fire. I will consume
you and swallow you whole. When faced with temptation, which of these two badasses will fall first?

Excerpt #1The cockiness of her is enough to push me over the edge. I snatch her up and toss her over my lap as she giggles in response. She has clearly baited me and I admittedly walked into yet another trap. She enjoys the power that she wields over me.My hand comes down hard to crack against the smooth skin of her bare ass. She laughs. My cock throbs. I hand out another spanking as I watch the slight pink begin to spread and glow across her perfect bottom. This time she barely flinches. Her giggle sends jolts of electricity sparking straight to my cock.“Is that all you've got? Geesh, you really do need some lessons.” she challenges as she props her ass up in the air higher. As my hand comes down again and meets the bottom of her ass. I suddenly feel the wet liquid begin to soak my lap.“You are one fucked up little piece of heaven.” My head rears back as the laughter bursts from my lungs. I love the way her body responds to me. The way she not only matches me but supersedes me.

A Risky Dance series by Monika Summerville

Riley Frost walked through the front door at Fellow’s Bar and Grill and, Ben, the bartender, waved. He nodded and sat down on a barstool at the end. The room wasn’t overly crowed and there were enough women in the place that he thought he’d come out on top. He hoped to find a nice curvy woman to curl up with for the night. The noise and laughter helped bring his tension down a notch. Ben walked to his end and set a glass of Loch Lomand single-malt-whiskey in front of him. It was Riley’s favorite and the bar kept it stocked for him.“My headache thanks you, Ben.” He accepted the glass.“Steven should be back from a break shortly, Mr. Frost. Care for a game of chess?” the bartender asked. “It would give me a chance to win back some of my losses from last month.”“Perhaps. I’m a little on the prowl tonight. Is it too late to get a pulled pork sandwich or something?”“I’ll see what I can do.”Riley nodded, picked up his glass and a newspaper off the end of the bar, and walked over to an empty table. Ben came out from behind the bar. “We can do the sandwich. Chef wants to know if you want coleslaw, chips, or fries?”“Chips are fine. There’s no need to heat up the fryer.”“Good.” Ben smiled and went back to the kitchen.Riley read through the headlines on the front page of the paper and then heard the front door open. A woman about five-foot-ten walked in and went straight to the bar. He did a double take and found it hard to take his eyes off of her.She wore an emerald green, mini-tank dress that had lace in all the right places. It hugged her hips tightly and when she turned to the bar, he saw it had no back. The sides were cut low under her arms and the curve of her breasts showed just enough. Her long, brown hair would slide side to side when she moved and he thought he saw a scar on the middle of her back. Her legs alone caused Riley’s cock to stir and he thought he may have found his catch for the night. An older man with dark-graying hair walked up to her. Riley almost started to crack up laughing. The guy wore his hair in a fluffy 80s style cut and had a walrus mustache. The woman smiled and spoke with him. The man put his hand on her arm and she peeled it off and shook her head.“Woo...turn down, dude. Things are looking very good,” Riley said to himself, and took a sip of his whiskey.Ben brought his sandwich over and set the plate down on the table. Riley stopped him from leaving.“The woman at the bar, dead center, with the green dress and brown hair, what can you tell me?”The bartender looked over his shoulder and nodded. “She is gorgeous, but I think she may be a professional.”“Really?” Riley felt a bit surprised. She looked too classy to be a hooker. “I don’t know it for a fact, but she comes in here every other week or so and never leaves alone.”“Good, her drink’s on me, Ben.” He’d never seen her before and he spent a lot of time at Fellow’s.“I’ll see to it. She’s a single-malt woman. May I give her some of the Lomand?”“Very good idea.” Riley nodded and started to eat his food.He saw Ben walk behind the bar and prepare the drink. The woman still spoke to the 80s throw back. The bartender put the drink in front of her and pointed toward Riley. She looked over her shoulder just as he slid a potato chip into his mouth. Her eyebrow arched and she turned back to Ben and pushed the glass back at him. They exchanged a few words and the woman picked up the drink and walked toward Riley. She set the glass down and leaned over with her hand on the table. Riley had a perfect view of the tops of her breasts and he almost lost his breath.“I don’t accept drinks from strangers, but thank you.” She straightened up.“Why don’t you have a seat? I’m Riley Frost, now we’re not strangers anymore.”She stared at him for a moment with Caramel colored eyes and then turned back to the bar. He admired her rear and his cock became hard as a rock, it wanted her so much. She is mine, he thought. As she slid onto a stool, she motioned for Ben to bring another drink. The other man sat next to her and continued to make his moves. He tried to put his hand on her thigh and she moved it.Riley stood, finished his drink, and pulled his wallet out of his back pocket. He took a bill out and picked up the full glass of whiskey she’d left on his table. On her left side, he moved between her and Mr. Walrus Mustache, to crowd the guy away from her. Riley put the cold glass against her bare back. She sat up, leaned into his hand, and looked at him over her shoulder. Riley didn’t look back, but flagged Ben. He handed the bartender a one-hundred dollar bill and then leaned toward the woman. He moved his lips to a millimeter from hers and whispered, “The Loch Lomand is a thousand times better than that swill you’ve got. Have a lovely evening.” He brushed his lips over hers and let his hand slide over her breast as he set the drink in front of her. Her nipple felt hard as a bullet. He smiled and started toward the door.Oh yeah, I give her less than five minutes. She’s mine, he thought. He went out the door, turned left and stood at the corner of the building.

Recoil By Jessa Jacobs

In this fast-paced conclusion to the Recoil serial trilogy, past and present collide as Julia and Colin desperately work to unravel the connections between the man who attacked Julia and the group that attacked her father. Will their allies put it together before someone else gets hurt? Can their fragile relationship withstand the turmoil? Who will be the next to lose their life?
Recoil, Book Three is the conclusion of a serialized trilogy. Books One and Two are already out and available exclusively on Amazon. Book Three is a longer episode that ties up loose ends, introduces a new budding romance, and provides a satisfying conclusion to the story.

It was about time for lunch when Greg appeared at my office door with a strained expression on his face.
“Come in, Greg. What is it?”
“Do you know where Colin is? He’s not at home.”
“No. Have you asked Tom? I didn’t see Colin this morning.”
Greg lifted his eyebrows, but asked no questions. Maybe my frown told him he shouldn’t. After our tiff at dinner last night, I’d slept in the guest room and left the penthouse this morning before he made an appearance. Sofia had to practically chase me down with a carton of Greek yogurt and beg me to at least eat that.
Greg paused, seeming to choose his words carefully before continuing. “Actually, I can’t find Tom either. That was going to be my next question.”
“Why don’t you tell me what you’re trying to find them for, and we’ll go from there.”
His worried look deepened. “I guess I’d better. You and the other ladies need to stay in this building until I can locate Tom and get transport arranged. Luke has made bail, and he’s threatening to finish the job he started.”
Until that moment, I’d never believed one could literally feel the blood drain from one’s face. But I did. “But… How could he have made bail? Wasn’t it something like five million dollars? And if he’s making threats, can’t they pick him up again?”
“Well…” he began.
I stood and put both hands on my hips. “Well, what?”
“He’s not exactly making them in public,” Greg said. He had the grace to look guilty. “He was released a short while ago after an unknown party posted the bail, and yes, it was pretty large. We’ve been monitoring his phones in case this happened.”
“Are you telling me you have an illegal wire tap?” I stopped abruptly on a rising note, and then calmed myself. “No! Don’t say another word. Do not confirm or deny. Let’s go back to Colin and Tom. Why don’t you know where they are?”
Greg shrugged. “I’m not sure. I mean, it isn’t unusual for Tom to keep irregular hours at the office. He has all kinds of shit to deal with. Sorry.” Although his words were casual, he still bore the anxious expression he’d worn at the beginning.

Like you, I’m a reader. When I read a good story with characters I can connect with, my everyday existence fades into the background as I enter a world that may contain exotic locations, adventure and excitement. And, if I can be totally honest with you, in my favorite stories I can fall in love for a while with an impossibly gorgeous guy who is the best lover imaginable.
So, maybe it won’t come as a surprise that in my books you’ll find hot alpha male book-boyfriends, sassy heroines who are much more clever and beautiful than I am, and stories I hope will make you laugh and cry while reading them, as I did while writing them. Oh, and some scenes you may want to role-play with your lover.
When I’m not writing (which is almost never) I enjoy reading, hiking in the foothills near Denver, live blues music, karaoke and now and then indulging in her karaoke habit.

Cover Designer: Christa Holland at Paper & SageRelease Date: February 9, 2016

Kane’s a country singer who’s tangled with too many deceitful women. He’s learned his lesson: girls are for flirting and fun; emotions are for his music. But after spending a night with an earnest woman unlike any he’s known, he can’t force her out of his mind. So he goes in search of the woman he knows only as “Elle.”
On her last night in Nashville, the staunchly pragmatic Sabella found herself in a situation more suited to a romance novel than reality. Swept away, she ignored her rigidly self-imposed rules, succumbing to the fantasy just this once. But she knows real-world relationships have nothing in common with their fictionalized portrayals. When Kane unexpectedly shows up at her Portland apartment, she must choose between the practical truths she has learned and the desire for a passionate love she has struggled to suppress.
Despite the distance, Kane’s tour schedule, and their meddling friends, both are drawn to the chance for a romance neither quite believes is possible.

“So how did you know I was from out of town?” She hadn’t thought she stood out quite so blatantly, and there were plenty of people in Nashville without Southern accents, so that couldn’t have given her away.“You don’t act like a local girl,” he answered, relaxing back into the couch. His hands rested gently on his thighs, and he sat with his ankles crossed. He looked so perfectly comfortable that she felt even more self-conscious, standing in the middle of the room, thumbs tucked into the pockets of her jeans.“And how do local girls act?” she asked curiously, shifting her weight to one hip to appear more relaxed.“Confident. Assertive. They know exactly what they bring to the table, and exactly what they want to take away.” He paused. She felt herself swallow but continued to watch him. “But they rarely take any real risks,” he finished.Kane stood and stepped forward, which brought him a touch closer to her than would have been casual. Sabella could see the stubble beginning to grow over his angled jaw and slightly rounded chin, his hair brushing over the tops of his ears and down to the back of his shirt collar, the thin scar that angled from right above his lip toward his left cheek, and the slightly flattened line of his nose that told her it had been broken at least once. He smelled faintly of wood with an overlay of beer, a combination she never would have imagined to be alluring. She shifted moderately closer to him. If his assessment of these women was accurate, she definitely had little in common with them. Maybe it was her natural curiosity, but she almost never knew well enough to avoid taking risks, though she relentlessly attempted to impose sensible limitations on herself. Clearly that wasn’t working so well tonight.Over a foot remained between them, yet their stance felt oddly intimate. Until the door was opened by an older woman in a jean skirt, black halter top, and well-worn leather boots.Sabella took a hasty step back, but the woman was looking at Kane. He hadn’t reacted as sharply as she had, but rather did a slow half turn toward the door.“Amber Lynn,” he said by way of greeting and smiled somewhat crookedly.“Kane,” she responded, with a voice so husky she must have spent years shouting to be heard. “Not your best night,” she said casually then turned toward Sabella. “Now you must be why the boys keep on askin’ me for a karaoke night.” Her eyes took in Sabella’s silky purple top, manicured hands, casual sandals, and loosely waved hair, which didn’t accurately reflect the fact that it had taken almost an hour to style. She took her time, as if her eyes moved through the same honey that dripped from her voice—though that’s how Sabella thought of most country accents she had heard in her brief time in Nashville.“Amber Lynn here’s the owner of the Fiddle an’ Steel,” Kane explained. His drawl was actually not as thick, with only a hint of flattened vowels and that light softening to some of his consonants.“Pleasure to meet you,” Sabella offered politely.“Welcome to Nashville,” Amber Lynn replied. “What’re you hidin’ in here for? A lotta them boys would sure love to get to know ya better after that little show y’all put on.” The last few words were directed at Kane. Amber Lynn narrowed her eyes a bit and pursed her lips, as if trying to discern Kane’s motives.“Give ’er a chance to recover, Amber Lynn.” Kane’s innocent smile never wavered.Amber Lynn considered him for a moment, glanced again at Sabella, and turned back toward the door. “Behave yourself, boy,” she threw over her shoulder as she walked out.“You know me!” he called after her, grinning. “So.” He turned back to Sabella, and his mouth settled into a half smile. “Can I buy you a drink?”

Since then, Aria has run a literary magazine, earned her degree in Creative Writing (as well as in French and Russian literatures), and been published here and there. Though her first kiss technically came from a bear cub, and no fairytale transformation followed, Aria still believes magic can happen when the right people come together—if they don’t get in their own way, that is.
Other than all things literary, Aria loves spending time with her family, including her two unbearably adorable nieces. She also dabbles in painting, dancing, playing violin, and, given the opportunity, Epicureanism.

It’s been a year since Ryan O’Connor buried his wife. He was in Afghanistan as a SEAL medic when the call came in that she’d been killed during a robbery. In that time, he returned home, nursed his grief, and joined his former brothers-in-arms in the K2 Special Services.
After breaking up with her psycho ex, Charlene “Charlie” Morgan finds happiness only when flying the friendly skies—as an acrobatic stunt pilot. But the skies aren’t so friendly when her plane troubles turn out to be the work of sabotage.
Looking to forget their worries, Charlie and Ryan run into each other at a bar. The chemistry is instant and intense. It’s only supposed to be a one-night stand. But the memory of their passionate kiss lingers, and when Ryan shows up at Charlie’s flight school, their romance takes off. Yet the route to love has its own turbulence—secrets, lies, and danger. Can one night lead to something lasting?

There were no clouds overhead, and as Charlie peered up at billions of stars twinkling in a velvet black sky, she pulled her T-shirt over her head, and then slid her jeans down her legs. Too chicken to remove her bra and panties, she turned and walked down to the water, feeling daring. She had never done anything like that before and wondered why not.Walking into the surf until she was thigh deep, she laughed when a wave almost knocked her over. The water was cold but not freezing, and she turned so that the oncoming wave would hit her in the back. In front of her, Ryan stood in water up to his knees, not a stitch on. As if she were metal to his magnet, she went to him.“You’re like a sea goddess, here to bewitch me,” he said when she was inches from him.“You have a glib tongue,” she answered.“I’m Irish. Glib is in my blood.”“I’m good with your being Irish, but I’m really fond of your tongue.”The white of his teeth gleamed in the moonlight when he grinned. “I think you should prove to me just how fond of it you are.”She took a step closer. “You have no clothes on.”“I’m doing something wrong if you’re just now noticing that, Charlie.”“Oh, believe me, I noticed.”Taking her hand, he led her deeper into the gulf, past where the waves were breaking. Although his chest and head were above the water, she was on her tiptoes. When he realized she was struggling not to swallow salt water, he laughed.“Climb up me, little girl, before you drown.” As she grabbed his shoulders, her feet leaving the ocean floor, he deftly slid off her panties. She punched his arm. “You’re a sneaky one.”“You’ve no idea. You know, the knights of old would be given a token from their lady before going into battle,” he said, tugging her panties up his arm. “I think I’ll keep these as my good luck charm.”“Ha! I don’t think they gave them their panties.”“Actually, I don’t believe they wore panties back then. A good practice, that.”“Men,” she said. She wrapped her legs around his waist, and her arms around his neck. His arms circled her back, and they held each other as the water swirled around them. Without him to anchor her, the current would have swept her away, but he was so strong that she felt safe and protected. The heat from his body kept her warm.“Kiss me, Charlene.”They kissed and petted and kissed some more under the moonlit night and the stars twinkling above. With him holding her close, she thought she could spend all night there in the Gulf of Mexico, doing nothing but loving him. When the cold finally penetrated her skin and she shivered, he carried her out of the water and up to the dune where he had spread the blanket. With his large body covering hers, warming her again, he made love to her there on the sand, which was still heated from the daytime sun. His touches and kisses were tender, and as he whispered her name softly into her ear, she felt cherished. She squeezed her eyes shut against the tears burning in them and loved him back.It was the most beautiful night Charlie had ever known.
