Stop By and Meet Me Sunday May 1 at the Oxford Exchange Book Fair
Readers and followers have asked me ‘when will you be doing a book launch event for OUR SEASONS in the Tampa Bay area?’ Well, I’ve got something even better to announce. I will be taking part in the 2nd Annual Book Fair being held Sunday, May 1 inside the Commerce Club on the second floor at the Oxford Exchange in downtown Tampa. I’m excited to join more than 35 other authors in this exclusive book event right in the heart of the city and at a very popular meet-up spot for area professionals, reading buffs and families. Oxford Exchange is located at 420 W. Kennedy Blvd. in Tampa. The Book Fair and discussions taking place at this year’s event are free to attend.
I never actually held a formal launch party when I released my book OUR SEASONS in October 2015, so this is a great time to connect again with friends, followers and new and past readers of my work. I hope that you will stop by my table for a visit where we’ll be celebrating the book’s launch with bookmarks, other goodies and fun giveaways throughout the day. The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. I’ll have both OUR SEASONS and THE MUSE UNLOCKED available for purchase and signing, for those who would like an inscribed copy. So drop by for a chat with me and the hubby. And if you’ve already purchased either or both books previously, bring them along and if you’d like me to sign them, I’m happy to do so! Maybe you would like to pick up a good read for Mom or a mother you know in your family or circle of friends. If she prefers bite-sized storytelling she can conveniently pick up and put down as her busy schedule dictates, she might appreciate the short stories and poetry that comprise OUR SEASONS. If she especially enjoys a nice, simmering romantic tale blended with humor and an irresistible leading man and quite possibly her next book boyfriend, she may prefer my contemporary romance THE MUSE UNLOCKED and meeting up with the likes of up and coming film heartthrob Oliver Sand.

Book Giveaway Winners Named!
First of all, a special thank you to everybody who took part in my recent OUR SEASONS Birthday Bash Book Giveaway on GoodReads, especially to the great folks at GoodReads who were so helpful and efficient throughout the whole setup and winner selection process. They rock.
Thank you to any of my followers and fellow authors who RT’d and promoted the giveaway over the 11-day period and helped me spread the word. It means a lot to me to have your support.
And especially thanks to the more than 720 of you who entered the giveaway and decided that yes, you really would be interested in checking out a collection of short stories, poetry and original photography. I’m really proud of and excited about OUR SEASONS, and I can’t wait to share a very different side of me there than those who have read my blogs or my contemporary romance THE MUSE UNLOCKED have seen so far.

Celebrate My April Bday with a Book Giveaway!
Readers are invited to join me for a special birthday bash… here on GoodReads! I had such a good time a few Christmases ago with the 12 days of THE MUSE UNLOCKED that I decided what better occasion to host a book giveaway for my second book OUR SEASONS than on my birthday, April 6.

Never Before Read Scene for THE MUSE UNLOCKED Is Available!
For those of you especially who have already read THE MUSE UNLOCKED... do I have a treat for you!
I have been visiting the wonderful Indie Authors book blog So the Story Goes all week as part of The Muse Unlocked Book Blogger Holiday Tour 2013. And on our final day, I've posted exclusively on their site a never-before-released scene from the book.
It won't spoil anything for those of you who are either in the middle of it or haven't yet read it...so no worries!
But for those of you who HAVE read the book, you will recall a reference to this occurrence in a moment of daydreaming Cate has later in the book. Well, now you get to see some of what happened during that...ahem...event! ;-)

Next Week...A Busy One
If you follow me out here on GoodReads, then you may have noticed a sudden slew of events listed on my page for the first time.
Yes, I've had events before since the release of my book. Sighs. I'm just finally using all of the wonderful tools out here. (Okay, I'll admit it. Sometimes I'm a little slow to play with the gizmos...heh.) And yes, I have a really busy week ahead.
So be sure to check out next week's calendar. Not only will I be appearing at two events in the Tampa Bay area --- LocalShops1.com's Shopapalooza and Women in Networking's WIN Symposium (where I will also be speaking)--- but I will be making my second stop on THE MUSE UNLOCKED BOOK BLOGGER HOLIDAY TOUR, taking place this November and December. And I'll be off to chat with some wonderful indie author supporters in the Great White North, So the Story Goes. Great ladies, great blog!
