Movie Nuts, Brunch, Apocalypse Now
Great company, great coffee, great food and fantastic weather made all the more miraculous because it was forecast to rain all day. But it didn't! Reeling in ecstasy from latest review of Ice Phoenix!
Don't ask me why I'm up this late - it's Saturday uhhh technically Sunday morning in Prague and oh all right, there's no point in hiding it. I was watching Cartoon Network's Justice League (WonderWoman is kicking ass) when I happened to check my Amazon.com page and noticed a new review. 5 FRIGGING STARS. My gosh - it's such a great feeling when someone enjoys the story you've written and honestly, how do other writers control their egos when someone praises them? My way is really simple. New cover underway for Ice Phoenix
Just in case you are wondering, the picture above is NOT the cover for Ice Phoenix. But it's similar to what I want and I love the unusual depiction of this particular dragon in space. It lacks the wings and fire that is so typical of all the dragons you read about, and the artist has done such a wonderful job of this one - to the point that its scales could be mistaken for fur!
