Murder on the Orient Express is out now!
A few of you have written to me to ask if the movie of First Class Murder has been released. You’re not quite right – we’re still looking for the right company to make my books into films – but you’re not too far off.

I love all of my Murder Most Unladylike editions … but there is a special place in my heart for my Japanese books.
They’re published by Hara Shobo and translated by Sanae Yoshinoyama, and their gorgeous covers are illustrated by Takayuki Ryukin.

The deal was done by Lester Hekking at Sebes & Bisseling on behalf of my agent Gemma Cooper and the Bent Agency.

Guggenheim Mystery at Ilkey Festival
I was so pleased to be invited to the Ilkey Festival this year! Ilkley is a lovely town (it has a Betty’s, which is pretty much my test of excellence), and its book festival has been running since the 1970s.
