The Frozen Eye
Madonna at the Met Gala: lots to talk about… What do you notice first? Lots of expensive designer outfits at the Met Gala in 2016, all ‘stunning’ but only one got people talking… I mean talking, not just pronouncing empty words… Madonna’s. And here again, for the second time, Madonna appears in this blog… Why? Well, it’s all in the question. While others wanted to stun, Madonna as usual wants to open minds. Even with a dress. So, of course, the first thing I noticed was the Third...

Consciousness: what's so hard about it?
The 'the hard problem' is not hard, nor a problem at all. Materialism, though, is both hard and a problem.I am writing this post as a resource for all of you who are faced with materialist views; I can see you, on Youtube threads etc. having to discuss with people who seem to have fallen behind; it’s hard to explain to someone with world view that belongs to our past that we are not discussing it on their terms; they assume that we are ‘Medieval minds’ (well, Medieval minds were much more dev...

As Above So Below
Literary awakeningA thought-provoking, journey of fantasy, through the experiences of a new writer that has moved back to the mountains of Upstate New York with his wife. He encounters a spirit who has passed over, and together, they touch upon many issues and beliefs of society and the concerns thereof; those that weigh so heavily upon their minds. Often controversial, at times extremely passionate, and usually very captivating, this work exudes food for thought that “Magickally” keys forth...

Ageism in the Gay Community
Ageism is sooo last century!
This new video by Davey Wavey has just reminded me of one of my hobby horses; ageism in the gay community. It just has to stop. So, as my first act as Ambassador for Human Rights for FuzeUs, I will be focusing on this worrying issue.
We didn't fight against homophobia to replace it with ageism.
We didn't fight the bullies to get their 'jobs'.
So, for those who don't know the meanings of the rainbow flag, here they are. Take a look!
No mention about being young there!
He...

Queer Poems
Not born to judgeWhat does the voice of the downtrodden sound like? How does the rhythm of the experience of those who ‘don’t fit in’ beat? How intense is the picture, in words and imagery, of the frustration that discrimination of any sort creates?
These are the questions I was trying to answer when I wrote Queer Poems, my latest collection of poetry, where ‘queer’ doesn’t just mean LGBT, but is an inclusive term; everybody can be and feel queer as long society rejects difference – of any typ...

Holy Water
Rebel Heart Tour: there's more to water than meets the eye
Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea gravissima culpa. I have talked about Literature, Art, Aesthetics, Philosophy and spirituality a lot in this blog, but I have hardly ever mentioned Music, the most metaphysical of all the Arts. But, as coincidences do not exist, just as all the pieces of Words for Water are coming together, my ‘Big Sister’ (this time she is a Lady, well, a gay guy in a woman’s body), greatest icon and role model, who happ...

Selfish Art or Artistic Self?
The translucent selfAs I said in my previous post, there is a pivotal misunderstanding of what we, New Age freaks (a word to be proud of) mean by ‘self’. I also said that, as coincidences do not exist, two signs that I should discuss it came my way; I dealt with one in the first post, and am now about to talk about the other sign, which is more closely related to Art and Philosophy. My Sister, Jordan (don’t you worry how two sisters may be boys) pointed out that there was an article, entitled...

The Singular We
There is no SelfI was reading a post by author Kimberly Holman and talking to a great friend of mine on the same topic last night, and it occurred to me that there is a bit of confusion around about what Eastern and New Age souls mean when we talk about 'no self'.
It looks to me that it's a pivotal point, as some are 'highjacking' it; this is clear to all of us... just check out how many posts and videos there are that teach us how to 'use' the Law of Attra...

Alchemic Engagement
Three Days of EnlightenmentLong ago, a secret society known as the Order of the Dragon, possessed abilities and ancient knowledge. Hungarian King and Holy Roman Emperor, Sigismund of Luxemburg, appointed the Alsani family to serve the order for generations. For centuries, the order has fought behind the scenes for the good of mankind.
Near the end of the second World War, Hitler and the Nazis were desperate to find Roman Emperor Nero’s Storm Crown. Believed to have supernatural powers, it woul...
