The Sacrifices We Make

I completely missed out on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. tonight. Because my husband decided to host his LARP plot meeting at our house. What the fuck kind of world am I living in?

I’m just going to continue to pout and leave this here:

Is there anything more true?

Is there anything more true?

Wednesday Toybox: Smartvibes Edition, plus a follow-up review!

This week’s toybox find is brought to you by the incredible world of technology. I swear, technology so often makes me feel like:

magic

And after the little treat I gave myself this week, I love it even more. We’ll get to that in a minute, though. This week I want to show you another vibe that takes control and customization to a new level:The Ola, by Minna.

This little (not so little?) baby boasts pressure sensitivity as a control function, rather than the standard clicks, buttons, or sliders that s...

Weekend Anatomy Lessons

I’m still kind of embarrassed, and a little concerned, about how (some) people still don’t seem to know very much about sexual anatomy. And this isn’t limited to morons or idiots or prudes, so please don’t take this to be some kind of judgmental thing on my part. Hell, I’m sure I don’t know everything there is to know, either.

But in this day and age, with Google at our fingertips, it just amazes me that a lot of people still don’t believe women can orgasm from penetration alone, nor do they u...

I’m also stealing this yummalicious link she shared with me: Can You Get Through This Post Without Needing a Moment?(I couldn’t. Especially that… oh, Mark Ruffalo. *fans self*)

RDJ Sums it up perfectly.

And finally, if you’re not under a rock, you’ve already heard about the new contracts/plans between Warner Brothers and J.K. Rowling for “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find T...

Wednesday Toybox: A Different Kind of Rabbit

We’re all familiar with the rabbit-style vibe (well, weshould be, anyway). Everyone seems to make one of some kind or another (there are even glass rabbits!). They vibrate in the “rabbit” part and sometimes in the shaft, some have rotating beads, some have a rotating head (my personal fav), some even thrust, light up in the dark, or have a third protrusion for your bum. From the cheap Amazon-deal, to a luxury by Lelo (seriously, if anyone want to gift me one of these, I’m not too proud...

Mondays are for Smutting, Fighting, Writing.

I absolutely loved this post at SmutWriters likening sex scenes to fight scenes. Especially since it clued me in to some lectures by the great Brandon Sanderson! I’ve only read the first of his Mistborn series so far, butman, what a book. What world-building. His magical system was so inventive, and I love his characters.

Watching his ten-minute lecture about writing fight scenes got me thinking about my own strengths and weaknesses. Sex scenes always take forever for me to write – not because...

New Fun for Hump Days, from the Toy Box!

So, I’ve decided that since my darling friend and cohort Rhys Astason has her humpday hotties, maybe I’ll add a little fuel to the fire with a new idea – Humpday Toybox!

Now, I have neither the time nor funds to make this a review-concept (much as I’d love to!), but I do love me some toy shopping. Yes,thatkind of toy. And, I did get a new glass friend in the mail today, although I’m jacked up on shark week at the moment so I don’t even get to have fun with it. I mean, I technicallycould, but I...

The Things I Care About (and maybe some things I don’t)

priorities

Earlier this week, I made a very small but very wrong move, and basically jacked up my slowly-healing hyper-extended knee all over again. This has resulted in a lot of couch-sitting and fucking off while I struggle to get remotely comfortable, change out ice packs, and wrap and unwrap my knee. Oh, I’ve been working, too, and hobbling around and feeling frustrated and old and fat. (I might be all of those things, but they’re not actually the problem. The problem isn’t age or fat, it’s that I’m...

To the Guys Who Threw Eggs at Me Tonight

Reblogged from Dances With Fat:

Click to visit the original post Click to visit the original post

I was five miles into a nine mile training walk for my upcoming marathon when your car pulled up beside me, I didn't think much of it until I heard you yell "HEY FAT BITCH!" I stopped and turned to look at you and you took that opportunity to throw 2 eggs and, somewhat inexplicably, an empty egg carton, at me.

I've never reblogged anything before, but I'm doing it now. This is a disgusting vs. awesome display of humanity, and you should...

The Switch is ‘Out,’ Even More!

She was the woman of his dreams, his fantasies made flesh. But how much did she really know? It was just one night, a send-off for an old friend. That's what she kept telling herself. That was, until the switch.

Happy Sunday, y’all! It’s still pretending to be Boston here in Georgia, which is a-okay with me. I just wanted to put this all in one official place/announcement, and then I’ll let it do whatever it will do.The Switch is now available for your enjoyment at just about all major e-book...
